I love this Starbucks, come here all the time to do homework & it's great to study. It is noisy sometimes but it isn't to the point where it's distracting. The staff is friendly, the drinks are always on point and it does get packed, so if you want a table to do some work or js chill you have to either come early or pray there's a seat somewhere for you. This used to be one of my favorite Starbucks on my commute into the Bay Area. Recently, I've noticed it has been declining in service, consistency and cleanliness. In the last few months, I've been charged for the wrong product, drinks forgotten about, wrong drinks, no soap or paper towels in the bathroom. I also have a odd commute so it's not during the peak morning hours.... Often times barely anyone is in there and still these problems persist. The service has been mediocre with pseudo apologies and just lackluster performance, today several of the workers had an ongoing conversation about quitting their jobs there... You have a certain expectation in going to Starbucks that this location is not meeting. read more

My mom came to this Starbucks at 1:35 and it took 25 mins to get through the drive thru (mobile order) I went at 5:05 and it took over 20 mins to get through the drive thru (also mobile order). Felt bad for the girl working the drive thru because everyone was upset with the length of time it was taking. Not sure what was up today but management needs to figure this out read more

Every time I come to this Starbucks, it never fails, i have the worst experience. The guy inside is the worst employee. He rushes you and if you ask for something else, he makes it seem like he's annoyed and just doesn't want to help. Terrible customer service. Previous times i have used the drive thru and every time no matter if there is 6 people in line or just me it takes FOREVER!!!! Visited this location on Mother's Day 2013. Huge line in the store the middle of the day. Seven employees behind the counter all gib-gabbing with each other about nothing important (or at least they weren't having a customer service meeting). I could not believe how long it took to get two ice teas --- simple ice tea was all we wanted. My friends went to Subway and got sandwiches while I stood in line for at least 10 minutes behind 2 people waiting to be waited on - the key word being "wait". Focus from employees was the line at the drive-up window. It was about 95 degrees outside and all these people in the drive-up are in their cars with engines running, polluting everything & each other, ordering ENORMOUS drinks with piles of whipping cream and extra - double drizzles of caramel & chocolate sauce with sprinkles etc. I swear each car must have been a tourbus filled with people on their way to a diabetes conference. Or maybe the closest emergency room. But still, the customer service at this location with 7 employees is appalling. They need to fire everyone and get a new staff. Then the location should close that pollution line. Can anyone in Tracy breathe as it is? read more

I'm new to this "Yelping" thing, but I wanted to say how this is my favorite Starbucks to go to. The wait may or may not be long at times, but we always see the staff being polite as possible. I had a great experience after being back from my long vacation in Bora Bora. I saw the drive-thru going out to the street so I decided to go inside yesterday. I put my order through and began to wait. My name got called out and I got a great hello from the barista named "Larbear" or "Larebear" and he was wearing a "Pride Pin" if that helps identify him much better. But he greeted me with a hello, asked if I needed a sleeve or anything else and I began to become one of those complicated customers. As I asked for a green plug, for the three sandwiches I ordered, for a handle bag, and for some steamed soy for my pike that I ordered. He did it all with a smile and said, "absolutely!" and told me to have a great day! This store has come a long way from before I left from my vacation! I use to have not so decent service here and I really appreciate him for taking the extra effort. read more

Super friendly staff and always giving me that reassurance that if it doesn't taste the way I want it then I can have them remake it. I understand that sometimes it may take long to get a drink through the drive thru but taking into consideration that there are some customers that change their order at the window or add even more drinks to their order which extends the waiting time for the customers behind them. We have been stopping at this Starbucks for years, once a week as we drive in to the bay area from Sacramento for work. Again, it's just one day a week, & to our amazement oftentimes they remember what our drink is & what pastry we want! We have never been to a Starbucks store that has been so friendly, & we've been to a quite a few. I usually travel with my dad & if he's not with me, or I'm not with him, they will ask us where the other one is at. We've been there when the baristas are dropping by on their day off & they are still just as friendly. It's a pleasant place to stop in, & our drinks are always good! read more

Every time I come here they are SO SLOW!!! The line is all the way to the door and you literally spend a half hour waiting in line....very slow service. Also, most of the time there is only one barista making all the drinks, and they lack multitasking and social skills. Bottom line is...it is NOT worth going to only get one cup of coffee unless you have one hour to kill. Go to another Starbucks. read more

My girlfriend and I stopped here on our way to visit her family for Thanksgiving since it was right off the freeway (we should have kept driving). The service was excruciatingly and unexplainably slow. There were only 2 people in front of us in line and it took 10 minutes to order and another 10 to finally get our drinks. I could totally understand if they were understaffed, but there were more employees than there were customers! One lady was sweeping the floor, which is great, everyone appreciates a clean store, but shouldn't you be helping with the drinks if the wait time is pushing 20 minutes? One girl was fumbling with the register, another girl was making the drinks, and the guy was standing at the drive through window watching the blonde girl make all of the drinks. We were trying to figure out if he was gay and really lazy or if he was straight and just being a creep. Either way it was awkward. Anyways, it wasn't a great experience. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because our drinks were pretty good (though it's pretty hard to screw up an iced coffee). read more

Horrible customer service. I wanted a Starbucks refresher on 8/25 around 8:30 am, and didn't see the normal 3 flavors, instead I saw a new flavor. When it was my turn to be served I asked if they had any of the original refreshers in the back. The female cashier turned to her male counterpart to ask him, and he said no. I tried to clarify, as I had never seen Black Cherry Limeade flavor before so I ask if the others flavors were discontinued, or were they just out. Again the employee just said no, which I didn't understand what that meant, so I asked does that mean there are some in the back but its too busy to look, or is your location are not carrying those flavors anymore because I've just been to two other Starbucks in Tracy and no one has any? this is the rudest starbucks ive been to. my regular starucks is under construction so i drove on the other side of town to this one. when i got there the drive thru was super long so i went in. the lady taking my order wasnt the nicest to start when she gave me my change she just layed it on the counter and when she called my name for my drinks i asked her for a cup holder and she said sure and walked away i asumed to get me one but no...she went and was doing another drink and i was looking at her so confused cause i was standing there for at least a min. so i happen to look around and i see a small stack of cup holders to my left so i just got it myself. she was so rude because she couldve said when i asked for one oh theres some right there or something like that. then when i grabbed one she had the nerve to tell me thank you. if someone is that misrable at their job just get a new one read more

Before heading to a concert in Oakland me & my sister decided to stop by Starbucks for some iced coffee. I'm going to say the date & time so if the GM decides to read this, he/she will know the person who had helped us. Now I don't normally complain on Yelp, but this I just couldn't let go. The date is April 22nd, the time is 4:00 pm, my sister orders 2 venti vanilla iced coffee with 2 pumps of classic syrup and cream. The guy who took our order read it back & he got it correctly; he says the total is $6.50. The line at the drive thru was pretty backed up, there was like 5 cars ahead of us, we didn't mind waiting though. We finally pulled up to the window and a blond girl in a ponytail greets us and says our total. We give her $20.50. Three minutes later she hands us our change. I take the money and I count it & it's only 7 dollars; she clearly gave us the wrong change. She was supposed to give us 14 dollars. So we wait for her to open up the window so we can tell her, she pops up the window and I tell her she gave us the wrong change. She looks at me like I'm lying. She has this disgusted look on her face, I tell her we gave her 20.50 & she only gave us 7 back. She's still staring at me with the rudest expression on her smug face. Minutes later she gives us back the correct change. I say thank you & she doesn't say anything. As she's getting ready to give us our drinks, I can already see from the window that they had made it wrong. The coffee was straight up black & I knew they didn't put cream in either one. Before she can give it to us I tell her that they made our order wrong and that we said we wanted cream. Again, with the annoyed, rude expression on her face she says, "well the guy took the order and it didn't say cream." I tell her we said cream & she takes the coffee back & fixes it. Seconds later she comes back with our drink. She hands us our drink and she says, "do you need straws," in a very rude tone of voice. UH, YES? She hands us our straws and I say thank you & she just closes the window. So no apology for giving us the wrong change, no apology for making us the wrong drink, what gives? People make mistakes all the time & I wouldn't care if she would have apologized, but she didn't & the fact that she had this rude demeanor didn't help. I get it you're busy, you're packed but at least still display some good customer service skills. That was just horrible experience and oh yeah, the drink was gross. read more

I came in 4:30 and no one was at the register (nor waiting for there order). I was not greeted when i wallwd in. I was not told someone would be with me. I waited a couple minutes before i was attended. My kids were with me and they went to the restroom (they said they were fairly clean.) Unfortunately i didn't get the name of the girl that took my order but she has blonde hair and was short. (Her hair was blonder and longer than the girl working the drive thru.) Anyway she was rude, when I asked about a pasty she told me they didn't carry them anymore as if i was supposed to know when products are switched out. I figured she was having a bad day so i was not going to yelp this location at all but when she forgot about one of my drinks and didn't apologize for the extended wait nor could she even hand me my drink. She asked the girl working the coffee machine to hand it to me. Where's the customer service at? Luckily i don't live out here other wise I would seriously consider boycotting Starbucks. I applied here and the interview went well, I was told to call them back in 3 days if they hadn't called me by then. So I call them and the shift supervisor that interviewed me answered and told me that the manager was sick but that she talked to the manager and said I did really well and she would hire me if she could, but since she was only the shift she couldn't , but that she'd tell the manager and the manager would call me within 2 days. She never did so i called them again, this time the manager answered , she told me that she was in the middle of a rush and that she'd call me on Monday. Well its Monday and guess who never got a call, this girl right here. So I once again call them and the shift told me that she'd have the manager call me within a hr and she never did. Went in the gentlemen at the register was very nice and polite. Read our order and everything asked me if I wanted cream in my iced coffee and I said no thank you. I'm lactose intolerant so cream and I don't mix well. It was not busy at all either. The girl that had Momo on her name tag calls my name out for my drink and it has cream in it so I politely said I hate to do this to you but I didn't ask for cream and she gave me the dirtiest look like it was my fault so she looks at my cup and I said it doesn't say add cream I checked and she didn't say a word to me. She made me a new drink and then when I said thank you so much and she didn't even acknowledge me. I was just thrown off. every time I go to Starbucks employees are usually extremely good about this.
