It ranges from 8-12 drinks of different varieties, some, often made up and ridiculous. I call in the order before I go to save time. Bill almost always answers the phone and he is patient and helpful. Drinks are ready when I arrive. I pay and I'm out. It never takes more than 2 minutes. They are so efficient. read more

I love star bucks generaly and call it my 2ned home because I'm at star bucks too often . Staff at this location, are really nice and friendly and work harder. Rebeca and Kylie are super nice and hard worker and service minded . I can't believe these ladies are so calm when its so busy and stressful. Kylie always smiling no matter what . I avoid writing bad reviews after just one annoying experience, but there's been plenty of those at this location. I started working down the street from this Starbuck's in April of this year so it's the most convenient for me. I always order through my mobile app to avoid waiting, but guess what almost always happens..I wait. Now, I don't mind waiting maybe 5 minutes but when it becomes almost 20 minutes I have a problem. This location is rarely appropriately staffed for the morning rush. It's not the baristas' fault, but it IS the scheduling manager's fault for constantly doing that. The drinks have always been made correctly for me so i'm only docking this review 2 stars due to how understaffed they are in the morning. I absolutely love the available tables at this location. They have one large table located near the door, in front of the window, with plenty of plugs for your electronics. Just like most Starbucks large tables it has stool seating. There are about five single tables with a long bench against the wall and one chair at each. Under the bench (kind of hiding) there are plugs for your electronics. There is also a tall bench style table located just across the barista and additional tables along the opposite side. Needless to say there is plenty of seating and space. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The parking in the back is restricted to 2 hours and other than that there is only a few spaces along the side street and meter parking out front. The meters offer a max of 2 hours for $3 and you better believe the parking enforcement frequents the area. If your planning on staying more than 2 hours and have found a meter I suggest either changing spots or moving your vehicle before adding more time to ensure parking enforcement has not marked your tires. You will get a ticket even if you have fed the meter again because you have parked for longer than the 2 hour max. read more

This location is my favorite. Ive been to several Starbucks and the last couple locations i was harassed by people/customers and at this location its peaceful and has a great ambiance. Holly is also my favorite barista. She's very welcoming,funny and perky. It's always nice to engage with someone who's happy and upbeat and has a good vibe. Staff rocks here, and even though lots of celebs stop in from filming nearby, you can park pretty easy, and its never "too' crowded. Try the chai Tea, and the other thing I like is all the shopping close to the store. One of the friendliest coffee places around, great staff and very convenient location. Someone at the counter always has a smile for you. Can't miss this place if you are driving down Laurel Canyon or Riverside. Not much wait trying to order your coffee, although it can be busy on weekends. No troble getting wifi, nobody asks you to buy anything or sets time limits, just enjoy. I know people complained that folks can take their time sitting on their laptops and hogging wifi and chairs. I guess I'm not really picky when I visit a Starbucks. You go to one wherever in the country because of the consistent atmosphere and familiarity. And I'll drop by this place from time to time because they're open late and parking is pretty easy. I just thought that my last recent visit there was bizarre. I don't really ask for much at a Starbucks, but is it really so hard to get someone to smile? The lady that rang me up didn't say much and never smiled. When I asked her if I owed more money (after giving her a gift card not knowing what was left), I swear she just stared at me. Even my friend was there to witness this. I didn't know what we were waiting for. I just wanted to finish up the transaction so she could stop staring. I finally asked her again what she needed from me, and she told me I'm short $1 something. Couldn't she just tell me that instead of staring and expecting me to give her more money after I already told her that I didn't know how much was left on the card? She didn't look happy all throughout the night. I don't know if she was just in a bad mood for some reason and am sorry if she was, but that's never kept me from being able to properly communicate with a customer. I just expected a little more, especially from someone in a black apron. So customer service isn't so great, but I still like the late hours, easy parking, and the different spots you can work at with your laptop. Seems to be a nice crowd of people that come in to hang out, work, and whatnot. Wifi is free with a registered gift card. It's easy, just put money onto a card instead of giving them cash, and register it online, and you have 2 hours a day for 30 days. use the card at least once a month to be able to have access. No, I don't and never worked at a Starbucks. I just like my free wifi and coffee. Last note, Peets across the street is fantastic, also free wifi, without a registered gift card. Well, congrats -this- Starbucks locations; because, you honestly have the single worst associate I have EVER come across in my 20+ years of visiting Starbucks. I want to say 2 things first. 1) I have visited Starbucks in every single state in the U.S. I have been to (a lot). I have also visited Starbucks in over 23 other countries (again, a lot) and have been a loyal customer of Starbucks for over 20 years. So, I consider myself well Starbucks-versed. 2) I usually have a firm rule that I do not post the names of negative employees on my yelp reviews (check them out), but I mean I had to make an exception for this one. Here's how it went... I visited this location on Thursday, April 1, 2010 (sadly this isn't a joke). The place was busy and the tables were almost all filled. In line there were two females. They ordered 2 simple hot drinks. What I didn't see was before I entered, the barista must have just received several orders. He was doing his best (as it appeared), running around, just typical busy barista stuff. (note: he was a shorter, young, I think maybe Asian male). On we go, females step to the side, and now it's my turn. I walk up and smile at...ELLIE. Wait, I know this; because, I went in this morning to get my coffee and speak to the manager if it wasn't busy. It was busy. I asked the person who rang me up what her name was and "they" told me. I am not saying female or male to "protect" them. There I am smiling; Ellie is starring at me clearly "thrilled" to be at work. Based on her body language and death eyes, I can tell she isn't in the mood to be friendly. And, you know what, that's cool. I'd rather have a real person like that, than someone who is fake. I know that sounds weird, but that's how I roll. "Hi, I'd like a tall, unsweetened, ice-tea, with no ice." I stated. "Sweetened" or "Unsweetened" Ellie sharply said back. "Unsweetened" I said still smiling, but thinking, "Really chick, I just said a short & simple order and you couldn't get it all and there YOU'RE not busy?" "Kind?" Ellie said with ZERO sense of ANYTHING on her face or in her voice. "Do I have a choice?" I asked. The reason I asked is; because, up to this point, I have NEVER ordered an ice tea from a Starbucks. I know that sounds strange for how long I've been a Starbucks customer, but I am a coffee dude. If I have in the past, I don't remember it. "Yeah." She replies as if I am the dumbass for not knowing. At this point, I am over this "chick" and am thinking all sorts of things in my head. "Well, would you mind showing me where they are or telling me?" I still politely asked (which I find strange; because, usually I would have been snarky back, but I kept hearing my Mom's voice in my head telling me to..."kill her with kindness.") "Black, Green, Passion Berry" Ellie so thrillingly replies. "Green" I answer. I give her $3 and perky gives me eighty-five cents back. Now, usually it would have gone in the tip jar. But, I was at the end of my run and was wearing shorts with no pockets, so what did I end up doing with that money? Literally throwing in the trash before I left. (Sorry, Barista dude. Now, that I think about it, I should of handed it to you, but since it was change, I thought it was insulting) As I stand there; because, in just about all the other Starbucks I've been to usually the person who rings gets the drip coffees and ice-teas. How do I know? I am observant and just notice stupid stuff. What did Ellie do? Look out the window! So, I looked over at the other guy who is still busting his ass making everyone else's drinks who were there before I entered and he motioned for me to like come over towards his side. So, I did. Now, another guy enters and walks right up to Ellie and she begins to chat it up with him smiling like they are BFF's. The whole time I am starring at her; because, the Barista is still working his ass off and she is clearly slacking. We make eye contact about 3 times. I make eye contact with the Barista about twice and he is looking at me, like, "sorry". By now, AT LEAST 4 minutes has gone by and he is still busting his ass and she is still flirting. He finally goes, "So & so (I couldn't understand him), can you please at least get his ice tea?" "What was it?" She asks him. OMFG! Ellie, you JUST wrote it down! He points to the cup and she fills it up, and hands it to me. "Here" she answers. I took it, thanked the guy, and walked out. Needless to say the store & Starbucks will be receiving a letter today (something I NEVER due). I will also be calling their corporate office to make SHE is dealt with. I've been to this Starbucks a handful of times and it's always been 5 stars, but to have someone as tacky & horrible as her is simply a cancer. The job market sucks and tons of people want jobs. CAN HER and hire someone who takes pride in what they due. AND, if you know Ellie, please make sure she reads this. read more

The baristas are friendly and are fast at what they do. Like another reviewer said the clients can be pretty rude and should be more friendly to baristas. Occasionally when I ask for a frappe with choice of syrup they drizzle the sides for me . Some baristas though give me a frappe blended with less ice . Parking is easy to find just avoid peak hours (Ventura, Studio City nuff said). Some workers seem as they don't know what to say though at times and personally I feel like they need more training.
