I remember when they were building this Pinkberry. Now it's one of the hottest spots for Frozen Yogurt in Studio City. This is my go-to location since it's close to home and whenever I am craving for some fine, quality Frozen Yogurt. On my way home today I stopped by to grab a medium size fro-yo and I don't care much about toppings, because I like my Frozen Yogurt plain.. so I can really enjoy the flavor. Every now and then I might add Strawberries and Mochi. I love the texture of their plain Fro-yo more than other places that I have tried. I know they have multiple locations but somehow this is home to me. Service can be hit or miss here and there is always a long line outside the door. It has couple of seats right in the front of the shop and plenty of parking spaces shared with so many well known businesses. Prices are a bit expensive for the portions. I ordered a frozen yogurt with double strawberries. Unfortunately, the strawberries were spoiled. I was initially told to scoop them out, so I tried to remove them myself and ended up throwing away a good portion of my frozen yogurt and other toppings in the process. I asked if the strawberries could be replaced. One serving was replaced with mango. When I asked if the second strawberry portion could be replaced with another standard topping (mochi, which costs the same at this location), the employee told me, "I already helped you." She later explained that she was new and said that if I wanted the second substitution, I would need to go outside and ask the manager, who was standing outside the store. My disappointment isn't about mochi. It's that the original issue was spoiled fruit. By that point, I had already dug through my frozen yogurt trying to remove rotten strawberries and had thrown away part of the yogurt and other toppings. I didn't want to keep eating something that had been sitting in rotten strawberry juice. I would have preferred the frozen yogurt simply be remade from the beginning. I understand the employee was new, and I don't fault her for that. I do hope management checks the freshness of the fruit and gives employees clear guidance on how to handle situations like this so customers aren't left trying to salvage an order made with spoiled ingredients. Update: After I spoke with the assistant manager, she apologized, explained the employee was new, documented the spoiled fruit, and remade my frozen yogurt. I come here often, and nearly every time there is only one employee handling everything, online orders, in-person orders, and the register. That's simply not sustainable. The employee working is always doing her best, but it's unfair to expect one person to manage it all. It creates long wait times and frustration for customers, and I genuinely feel bad for her. Awful how negligent employees can ruin whole icecream with kids experience. We came in with 2 kids, and there was nobody at the register. guy was sitting and waiting I asked if has seen someone he said not yet. We stood and waited nobody came out from the back to greet. Then we waited, and waited after we called they came out laughing clearly very annoyed that we "interrupted" whatever they had going on in the back. After they came out, one of the extra slowly and annoyed took the order. 2 and 3 year old were loosing their minds but she had No effort or care. Saying "no you weren't here for 18 mins, maybe 10 tops and we were changing shifts so what we can't talk?" I've been a loyal Pinkberry fan since 2010 but this location is really bad unfortunately. The froyo comes out super watery? I don't know if they need to fix the machines or what but something is wrong. The staff is very slow and my biggest issue with this location is that they dont give you your cup once they're finished preparing it. Any other ice cream or froyo place they give it to you as soon as it's done and you have it in your hands. Here, they hold it hostage by the register until you finish paying which can take forever because they're slow, especially if there's a line. So by the time you get your cup it's half melted. Why cant I enjoy my froyo while I wait to pay? Other locations dont do this it's just bizarre. I hope management sees this message because it's a shame to ruin Pinkberry like this. read more

Stopped by for an evening treat because I remember back in the day when Pinkberry was a hot commodity. I always order the tart yogurt with fruit. When I arrived, the shop was clean, but the case with the toppings was a a little disorganized. The fruit also didn't look the best. Service was OK, but overall the experience was a little underwhelming. As far as desserts go, not the most exciting. There are a lot of Frozen Yogurt options out there and I don't think Pinkberry would be my first choice. I wonder if it might just be this location? The most terrible and boring selection here. Literally the lamest frozen yogurt place I've ever seen in my life. The one thing I asked for that was on the menu they didn't even have. That's fine though it would've been a waste of ten dollars. This place is expensive too. The person I came in with got a cup of frozen yogurt with no toppings and they charged nine dollars. I actually love it more than Menchie's, Yogurtland, etc. Me and my wife walked in the place and it was nearly empty which already indicates a red flag. The girl who was helping us today looked like she didn't want to be there and was talking under her nose that I had to lean on the glass and put my ear closer so I can hear what she was saying. I'm so happy to saw this Pinkberry, it was one of my favorite places to get frozen yogurt and it was everywhere but all the sudden they were gone, I thought they went out of the business. Saw this at the plaza where the Mendocino Farm is, got a mix of the original and the pomegranate and it's just exactly how I remembered and it brought back memories, and it's quite low on calories with some protein which doesn't break my diet. I'm writing to complain about the conditions the workers at this store are suffering. It is a high of 110 degrees and the AC in the store is out. At the time of my visit, it was warmer inside the store than it is outside. Despite this, the employee who served us provided excellent service without complaint. I hope that the employees who continued to work in these conditions are being well rewarded. The store should probably have been closed. At the very least, fans or a portable AC unit need to be provided. Frankly this is probably a workplace safety violation of some kind. I didn't even know there were any more Pinkberry's left in LA since they kept closing down. We saw the sign on our way home and had to make a stop. The place was dead, literally no customers and I understand why. $8+ tax for a barely filled medium cup is a bit much and this was with no toppings. I didn't get toppings because they looked like they saw better days. The frozen yogurt on its own is good but not THAT good. No wonder this brand has been going downhill. Ok, my Pinkberry friends...we have been coming to this location for well over a decade. We've seen it all, from the awful service and no tables to misspelled handwritten signs, no lights/AC, and the death of free samples. Well, today, my husband and I met Sophia, an angel sent from Pinkberry heaven. Our prayers have finally been answered. Not only did we receive samples of the new flavor, Snickerdoodle cookie, but we were treated with respect, kindness, and cheerfulness. Needless to say, we were shocked. Thank the Pinkberry gods for sending us someone who not only made this experience the kind that a frozen yogurt excursion should be, but for renewing my faith in the goodness of humanity.
