The affogato is the way to go. You pick your gelato (one or two scoops) then they pour either regular or decaf espresso over it. Simple idea, but it comes together so well. It's creamy, not overly sweet, and somehow feels a little luxurious for such a straightforward dessert. By the time I finished it, I was already wishing I had gone with 2 scoops instead of one. Definitely coming back.
Great quality gelato in studio city. It's definitely not somewhere I'd come often because it is quite pricey for the amount of gelato you get. I paid $22 for 2 medium cups, which is quite a lot in my opinion. The quality however is great and the interior is beautiful and the service was great too!

Let's talk cones: the selection here is fantastic. Even better, the clear display explaining the different types makes choosing a breeze, a thoughtful touch that shows attention to detail. Now, the ice cream. Good. God. The ice cream. Absolutely phenomenal. My picture barely does it justice. But honestly? The only way to truly grasp it is to go yourself. Head to Ventura Place in Studio City--one of LA's coolest streets--park in the Vons lot, and take the short stroll over. The flavors are nothing short of extraordinary. Multi-layered, nuanced, and crafted with the kind of skill that can only come from centuries of Italian artisan tradition. Each bite is a revelation. Kiss Of Milk isn't just gelato--it's an experience, and Studio City is lucky to have it.

You can get samples prior to selecting your picks. I really love the tiramisu gelato and the pistachio. It's a pretty small shop and parking can really suck too but if you go at night, you'll find ample parking, at least I have. If you've seen Bacio or driven past it, give them a try! You won't regret it.
I was really looking forward to trying the affogato at Bacio di Latte, but I was disappointed with how it was served. It came in a plastic cup, which isn't ideal for a dessert like this. Traditionally, an affogato should be served in glassware or a small ceramic cup, allowing the hot espresso to blend smoothly with the cold gelato without altering the flavor. Unfortunately, the plastic cup affected the taste and overall experience. I was shocked when the guy gave us our cups. I asked for the mini mug and he said its for presentation only. It was awful!!! The espresso didn't hold its heat, and the presentation felt more like a takeaway item rather than a crafted dessert. The concept of the affogato bar is lovely, but using proper glassware would truly elevate it and bring out the richness and contrast that make an affogato special. I really hope they consider this change it would make a huge difference for anyone who appreciates the authentic affogato experience. For as much money as they charge for this and for their gelato I would have expected a much nicer experience. It looked like a root beer float than an affogato. Until they make this change, I probably won't return again for this item.
Street parking only. Definitely will be coming back. The young lady who helped us was amazing. Gave us to try a couple of samples. She allowed me to choose the cup size or cone, I opted for the cup. She also allowed me to be able to choose 2 different flavors as a one scoop. This is totally surprising new to me. Pistacho was smooth, not super sweet, and delicious. It was creamy and nutty. It even had Pistacho pieces in it. She mentioned the difference between the Mousse di Pistacchio was sweeter and pistacchio was nutty and salty. Overall, a great experience! Even though the place was starting to get busy, it was clean and quiet.

The store has a very modern and open set up. You can see the gelato being freshly made in through glass viewing. We were told they make their gelato fresh everyday starting at 9am. Everytime we walk into Bacio di Latte we are greeted with a hello, welcome and a smile. Thank you Audrey for the excellent customer service. Audrey informed us that Bacio Di Latte makes their gelato fresh everyday starting at 9am. You can see the different gelato flavors on display and you're welcome to try some samples. My favorites are the Caffe Caramellatte, Crema & Biscotti and Tiramisu. They are was delicious. You can tell it's quality gelato. It wasn't too creamy and it wasn't too rich. It was dense in texture and slightly silky. It was perfect. Glad we found a gelato shop we can frequent that's close by and family owned. We love supporting family owned businesses in the San Fernando Valley especially when they provide both excellent customer service and delicious food.
Every time I drive by this place has a line out the door. And I get it now. There's only street parking, so keep that in mind. Also, did I just find my new favorite gelato place? I think so. It's so clean and crisp looking inside. They truly have a variety of delicious flavors. It was so hard to choose just one. So I went with a recommendation that was made by Holanda. Raspberry and vegan Chocolate. Yes..vegan. I'm not vegan and this was by far one of the best vegan chocolate flavor, I have ever tried. Their strawberry cheesecake tasted exactly that. Their pistachio was so creamy and sweet. Their yogurt with cherry was my favorite but the one that stood out was their buttercream pretzel. Have to come back for that one. Thankfully when we got there it was empty which gave us enough time to try as many flavors as we wanted. Holanda was soooo helpful, patient and just over all provided great customer service. We even talked football, GO Chargers ;). I hope for any first timers, that you get Holanda to help you out. I wish I had the time to take more pictures but I was so busy trying everything. *side note - their smallest side is really the perfect amount of gelato.
My friend who lives in the area introduced me to Bacio di Latte as her favorite gelato spot! It's so bright and gorgeous even from the street, and the scent of fresh waffles wafts through the air the moment you open the door. You can try as many samples as you like before you make your final decision, and they rotate seasonal flavors. I ordered the waffle cup with pistachio paired with a scoop of the namesake sweet cream and cookies and cream flavors. It's decadent but also refreshing and I can't believe I finished the whole thing after a full dinner before! Price-wise, Bacio di Latte is a higher price point than say a Pinkberry or Yogurtland, but it depends on what you're looking for. The gelato is made fresh and can be bought as a pint, too!
The service was outstanding with the workers explaining that all gelato is made in house daily. They let me try a few recommendations and I loved the pretzel. It was sweet and salty with little pretzel pieces. The mint was also solid as well. This is receiving a 4 instead of a 5 because the cone was a little old (you could tell by the texture) and there was a giant piece of chocolate in the mint chip. It was so big that I had to pull it out of my cone! I love chocolate pieces in my mint gelato but this was a little too much. Overall, a great experience!
My favorite place in the area to get Gelato. I am a simply guy when it comes to desserts. My go to's are Pistaccio and Sweet Cream. I have to double down on a previous review I read about the flat wooden spoons. I agree, we need better spoons. I plan on venturing out and trying more of their flavors soon and I will update my review with my next batch of favorites. This place is located right at the edge of a nice stretch of nearby eateries and coffee shops which makes Bacio di Latte a perfect cherry on top of whatever activity it is you're doing on this street. Not to mention the farmer's market on Sunday.
They've finally opened several locations in the Valley -- and let me tell you, this is hands down the best gelato in LA. Every flavor is rich, authentic, and absolutely delicious. I went with the Crema Torino, and if you're a fan of hazelnut, you're going to fall in love with it. We were helped by the wonderful Cindy, who patiently let me sample as many flavors as I wanted. That said, you really can't go wrong -- everyone who works here is genuinely friendly and welcoming.
Yall I just... I cannot even BEGIN to describe the MOUTHGASM I got from this place! I have never EVER IN MY LIFE had gelato this good. I wanted to literally live there. They have gluten free flavors. I got the decaf Affogato and literally almost fainted. It tasted the BEST, I'm STILL having dreams about it. Please PLEASE do not go another day in your life without coming to this place. I MEAN IT PEOPLE. I need to end this review because it's making me want to drive there now at night and just for them to open in the morning . 100% addicting. I will literally sell my own mother for another Affogato. Pro tip: get the affogato with the coconut gelato
Love Bacio di latte! We went to several ones and studio city is our favorite. I tried strawberry sorbet today and I really love it. It gets really busy and it's pretty tight space inside but the staff work great and fairly fast. I loved chocolate crunch pistachio flavor the most. My kid loves their custard cookie and cream flavor. read more

This gelato is SO tasty. Yes it is pricey, but you can't beat the flavor, texture, etc.! Walking in there, you're overwhelmed with all the scents - it's too good! I'm so grateful they let you sample here since everything looks so good, it's hard to narrow it down. The employees are also very friendly! There's a lot of seating inside and outside with a huge parking lot as it's in a mini mall. It's definitely more of a once in awhile treat due to price. read more
Open until 11pm for a perfect late night treat! They had a huge variety of flavors, including 3 vegan options - 2 fruit sorbet (strawberry and raspberry) and 1 Belgian chocolate. It was packed around 10pm on Friday - they're doing great business! The prices are pretty steep; my 2 half scoop cup was $9.55, but I was satisfied overall because of the dairy free option that wasn't sorbet. The staff was super friendly, and was able to move through the line quickly, even while offering samples. read more

Gelato that hits the spot! Outside of Italy, this is some of the best Gelato I've had. Flavors are unique! The biggest standout here is the service. There were several employees working and often times if we were tasting multiple flavors, there was more than one employee helping us. The first question asked from every employee to all patrons was "do you have any allergies?" Loved the flavor choices, service and location. The perfect treat! read more

This Bacio di Latte location just opened this week in Studio City! They offer a lot of flavors to choose from, along with affogatos, milkshakes, and cookies. The friendly staff allowed us to sample several flavors and we went with pistachio and peanut butter caramel chocolate in a cup. It's on the pricier side considering the portions sizes, but it's good quality gelato. FYI other than the two benches outside, there is no seating for patrons. It's also all street parking in a busy area so that can be a challenge as well. read more

Delicious variations of chocolate, vanilla, and caramel flavors of gelato. And the gelato is super fluffy and soft. The servers were super experienced with handing you many samples to try as I had to try many flavors. Definitely pricey for one scoop of gelato ($8), but worth trying it! read more
I came to this gelato spot last week and was pleasantly surprised to learn they have multiple locations. I hadn't planned on stopping at this one, but since it was closest to me I gave it a try, and I'm so glad I did. Even though we went late and the line was long a clear sign of how popular it is, the service was still excellent. Totally worth the wait and the hype.On top of the gelato, I even grabbed an extra treat, a chocolate chip cookie with marshmallow. All of it was so delicious. I'll definitely be back and can't wait to check out their other locations too. read more

lol.....Back to back visits before departure but sooo yummy!!! Fortunately had a chance to take kiddos and not their favorite outside Italy!! Kiddos are huge gelato peeps and absolutely enjoyed first visit!! Staff again super friendly and welcoming!! read more
Five stars for the excellent gelato and the nice service- gelato was rich and creamy . four stars for the price. I got a small and they do give you quite a good amount of the gelato. The small is just under eight dollars. They have a great variety of flavors and you can test them and see what you like. Beautiful store. If you want to eat your gelato there, there are no tables inside only a couple benches to sit on outside. I had the pistachio and the mint and chip. I would go back and try other flavors. Parking is difficult there because there are a lot of good restaurants on that street. read more
Delicious, authentic gelato from this gelateria chain originating from Brazil. They are expanding quickly throughout Los Angeles. I've had their gelato before in Newport Beach. Whenever I visited Fashion Island, I would make sure to stop by BDL. I am pleased that they opening locations throughout Los Angeles. I was sad when Grom left Los Angeles, but now we have some good options in Studio City such as Bacio di Latte which is within walking distance of Fatamorgana Gelato which comes to Studio City from Rome. I tried a couple of their most popular flavors -- the Belgian chocolate and pistachio (cream). A medium cup was close to $10. It's pricey, like everything else these days so it would be something I would get every once in a while. Parking could be tricky in the area as there are only parking meters available on this busy street with McConnell's ice cream almost next door. read more

Everything was perfect. There was a line not quite out the door, but almost. Despite this, the line moved quickly which was a surprise because the employees didn't rush anyone and gave out samples. I like how they asked everyone if they had any allergies before sampling/serving. The flavors were insane! I got tiramisu and coffee & caramel. You can line your cup with either pistachio or hazelnut sauce (or was it Nutella sauce? Same thing), and I'm pretty sure at no extra charge. Next time I want to try the affogato with tiramisu as the gelato choice. The employees were absolutely wonderful, too! 10/10 experience. read more
What a delightful little spot! I've been searching for good gelato for years now. Most gelato places in the recent years have tasted more like ice cream, which is a huge disappointment. Finally a place where the claim of gelato is true! They have a variety of solid, delicious flavors. The most surprising flavor was 3 chocolate. I don't know how they managed it, but you get the flavor of all 3 types of chocolate rolling off your palate. I love that they carefully weigh out each pint of gelato to ensure everything is balanced and fairly priced. They also have a little freezer with pre-filled pints. If you don't see the flavor you want, just ask them to pack a pint for you! Clean, beautiful, and simple store. It's dangerous to live so close! read more

Holanda and Will were EVERYTHING!!! Seriously the sweetest people ever. The vibes were immaculate from the moment we walked in. Will was super attentive and made great recommendations, letting us sample what we were curious about without ever rushing us. We tried the one in Century City and Brentwood, this Studio City just opened a month ago. Very clean, positive vibes, helpful staff.. we tried the pistachio, chocolate and cookies and cream. --super creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Parking: Although it's not free, there's paid parking conveniently located across the street. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for quality gelato and great service. read more

I've been here a few times and absolutely love this place! My co-workers from Chase recommended it, and it truly is the best gelato outside of Italy. Will helped us today, he was patient, friendly, and made the ordering experience super easy. Great attitude! The shop is beautifully designed and incredibly clean. Love their interior! So pretty & classy! I wanted a scoop of every single one! I settled with a chocolate dipped cone & split flavors of Nutellina & Tiramisu. Their affogato was delicious too. They just opened their location in studio city 3 weeks ago. Its a must to visit them. read more
