To me, customer service and cleanliness of the restaurant/coffee shop/ store, or anywhere else is very important. They go hand in hand. Walked in on the 16th of this month at 6:15pm, with a friend of mine that I haven't seen since high school. She moved to Northridge, and this Starbucks was somewhere close to both of our homes. Started taking my photos, and the first thing that I noticed was their floors, including their gender neutral restroom. The coffee shop was not very clean nor was it sanitized. Also, where they keep their refrigerated items were unorganized and limited in items. Especially their chips and string cheese. The place was nice and BIG. Tables, chairs, couches divided into 3 different sections along with nice artwork on the walls and great selection of merchandise. I liked that. They also had nice music playing overhead. Dirty cups left on the tables along with straws. With and w/out the wrapper, dirty napkins and the trash in the restroom was full. With wear and tear papers left everywhere. Next time, I will take a photo. Also, some of the tables were sticky, but not dirty. Liam, one of the baristas was working on some paperwork, and didn't look up, until I got his attention. On the flip side, Josh was all smiles. Ear to ear. We both ordered the same thing. Iced single shot Caramel Macchiato, added whipped cream with Oat milk. Simply delicious. Both drinks were made to perfection!! I also got an extra cup of ice. Got a single Blueberry Muffin, (asked him to warm it up, and he did). A Chocolate Croissant, and one of their refrigerated sandwiches that I like so much. Tomato, Mozzarella, Spinach Sandwich. She got a Chocolate Brownie. Both baked goods were delicious, nice and warm. As I was walking out, Liam was emptying the trash which got even fuller during the 2 hours that we were there. Out of curiosity, I asked him "when was the last time you guys emptied this trash?" His answer was 2 hours ago. So 2+2= 4. Since we were there for 2 hours. If the food and the beverages that we had was not SO GOOD, I would have definitely removed a star. Plenty of parking spaces shared with like 100 businesses. It's always a pleasure to see an old friend, and have cup of coffee along with nice conversation. read more

This is definitely one of my favorite starbucks locations. The service is always fast and there's never a long line. You're always greeted when you walk in and all the employees are super friendly. My go to drink is an ice chai tea latte with vanilla cold foam and cinnamon powder...yum. I will say, this shopping center is pretty busy and there are times where I have to circle around to find a parking spot. Sometimes street (meter) parking is available. The lot is not that big so have some patience ;) read more

The barista was pretty young and was amazed at my Reserve card, as it was the first one he has seen. Busy plaza, no parking, too many eateries in one plaza. Always hard to find parking. Coffee is ok, just like any other Starbucks. Customer service here is average, so is at every other Starbucks. It's not like before when you would get the friendliest service. The floors were dirty here, lots of food crumbles on the floor. There was a homeless person with a whole cart of her belongings sitting in one corner and scrolling on her phone. Very unpleasant experience if you want to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Overall the ambiance was off here. I have been here a few times many years ago and it was a much better ambiance back then. Starbucks is losing its charm. read more

This is one of my go to Starbucks in the area for the promptness, friendly service and ample seating available. The Starbucks is conveniently located on Ventura and has an accessible lot. If you can't find parking there, there's always plenty of parking in the surrounding neighborhoods! I placed an order using their mobile app and it was ready quickly. They organized the orders logically in the mobile pick up area, so it was easy to locate! I sat down for a moment on a plushy seat to indulge in my grande cinnamon dolce latte with oat milk. I've had some issues with Starbucks making my drink incorrectly, but thankfully they followed the customizations to a T! Baristas and cashiers are uniquely kind at this location making their patrons feel welcomed and appreciated. My drinks are always made correctly and the store itself is well managed and cosy. I have passed this location plenty of times. But never once stop by for a coffee. Then the other night I decided to come and do some studying. Parking was full so I waited a little while for some space to get vacated. Upon entering, the register is there right away and no line. I was able to put my order in then look for a table to sit. Inside is spacious with high chairs facing Ventura Blvd which I find to be a good view for entertainment. Background music was upbeat and lively. But I used my headset though so I will be able to concentrate more. I will be back for sure. Parking gets busy but be patient and you'll find one. read more

Hi Yelpers, here is an update review lets keep it real and get after it! The product is the same at all locations, and prepared the same way. Now they have changed the furniture in a lot of their stores. I have found Encino to be the best location of about 10 stores I have visited. Why? The best management! Their hires are better than Sherman Oaks, some of the staffs personalities are like war mop! Some you have to take their pulse, to see if you get a heartbeat. Encino is very welcoming, Excellent service, bright, large beautiful store, with a large outside patio. Their management is far superior than Sherman Oaks. They did undergo a management change with a female manager in Sherman Oaks store. The previous manager had been replaced. 2 stars sorry, with Encino 5 stars across the board!!! Driving down Ventura Blvd craving a Starbucks, I stopped by this location for a hazelnut-dashed Oat Latte, and sheesh did that hit the spot! The staff that work here are super nice, and it is a popular location even on a weekday night, with many members of the general community working on homework / projects or carrying casual conversations. Lighting was on the dimmer side, but ambiance was quiet enough that concentrating wasn't too difficult. The only difficult part is finding parking in a narrow parking lot shared between several small businesses. Will be back - at hopefully less busy times. read more

I really want to give this location a good review but I have been so disappointed EVERY time I go. It's on my way to work so the location is very convenient, BUT... I live 10 minutes away and always order from my door before I leave, and yet I STILL have to wait 5-10 extra minutes! Once, after I drove off, I went to drink my coffee and was shocked to find it was 2/3 filled!! Also, I drink black coffee, they make the barista who's doing all mixed drinks also do the drips and black coffees. That's ridiculous. And, The staff can't work and talk at the same time. I actually watched the barista gossip with another girl while she had a line full of drinks, she stopped and had a conversation!! WTF?!?!?! One day I was waiting close to 15 minutes for a simple pike, (on top of the 10 minute drive), they claim someone must have taken my drink so they gave me a $4 Card as an apology... I went to another starbucks to use it... THEY FORGOT TO ACTIVATE THE CARD! So basically they didn't give me anything! These guys are so disorganized it's sad. I was in the area today and walked in to get a drink. My favorite Starbucks drink is one Grande iced chai latte with almond milk, but today I tried the iced toasted vanilla oat milk shaken. The customer service was excellent, the coffee shop is big and specious, plenty of seatings both indoor and outdoor. Clean bathrooms. Staff is always super helpful. Very close to my job so I'm constantly visiting. I would recommend the spinach wrap with a triple over ice with 2 pumps or sf vanilla. Joel and Grayson are the best workers I've seen in along time at a Starbucks location. "CHRIS" came in with a long list of orders for his Production Crew. I say about 17 different varieties of coffees, 6 pike coffees, and 2 hot chocolates, and of course his own. Joel the cashier made sure everything on CHRIS' list was put on his register and then you see Grayson in the back brewing her butt off to all those mixed drinks. She is a beasts. This Starbucks is large but the seating is horrible. Not enough chairs and tables and they are like the ones in preschool. I almost fell backwards on the picture of the chair attached. There are too many people sitting there for long periods of time with their computer/ like it's their own personal office. There are homeless sitting inside as well. They could make this Starbucks so cute and layout tables and chairs in a much better way. Also there was a lot of crumbs on the floor by the windows where we sat. read more

I came here with my BF after a meeting, and the barista helping us didn't really crack a smile. Maybe she was having a bad day? or a long one?
