I've had friends mention recently how Starbucks as a company has become so cold and uninviting at almost every location. This local rebrand as not just a "Drive Thru" but a "Drive Thru ONLY" location is so crazy. There are EIGHT parking spots and they've put up "Employee Parking Only" signs on every single one to deter customers from even parking and walking quickly inside to get their drink "To Go". I will be grabbing coffee from the competitor down the street with better prices and friendlier attitude next time. My "go to" Starbucks on a week day morning before work. Always the reliable "skinny vanilla latte" I love and very friendly servers. My one main gripe about this place is always the parking lot. It's so small and hard to maneuver in and out. And some customers block the entrances or just can't seem to figure out a way to get their larger vehicles in and out of the parking spots. Some patrons will park in the lot next door and cross over the drive thru lane on foot, which seems dangerous. Just not the best design for a parking lot. Other than that, I love the location, staff and consistent quality of the drinks. And may I add, this Starbucks really knows how to toast a bagel to perfection. I'm weird about my toasted items. I don't like them too dark or under toasted. Strange I know, but the bagels here done just right, in my opinion. read more

I can say with PURE confidence that this is one of the worst Starbucks locations ive ever been to. I work down the street from here. Everyone that works in our office knows not to go here. We will drive 2 miles away so we dont have to go to this location. They always mess up orders, never have stoppers, theyre rude, theyre slow, their speaker is always broken or they cant hear. One day the line was so long i ended up going inside. First there is very little to no parking. Its mostly a drive through location. There was 10 people waiting inside. i ordered my drinks. i waited 20 minutes and drinks were still not produced. i asked the girl how much longer. She said "i don't know". The same 10 customers were standing there after 20 minutes. They dont want to give stoppers. Coffee and tea has spilled numerous times in my car. Lids arent securely put on. Order are almost ALWAYS messed up esp if youre ordering multiple things. Go to a difference location if you can! read more

This is the Starbucks I go to for my before work drink. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They are inviting and have my order down pat, to the point sometimes it is made before I even finish ordering (thanks Gabe). Even the new people they bring in fit right away and are fun and friendly and ready to joke with you. Rob and Eric are always ready to answer my inane questions no matter how annoying they can be. Everyone seems to work well with each other and with the customers (except maybe the guy who reminds me of Ben Platt) but at least he makes my drink right b The only problem I have with this location is the parking. The spots are extremely limited and several are taken up by employees. I have had to go to a different location several times due to no spots and a disorganized drive thru line. read more

I love coffee shops AND black coffee AND green tea AND the starbucks card!! I came here on a Wednesday evening to get some work done and my mission was accomplished..yay...I loved how it was soo empty when I initially got there so I was able to sit wherever I wanted and it was quiet (ppl started to trickle in later, but it wasn't too bad... still enough seats for everyone and with my headphones on, it was good.. ppl weren't too loud...)!! :) pros: coffee, green tea, not too packed so no trouble finding seats, friendly staff, free wifi, outlets to charge your electronics, clean, good atmosphere to come here with a friend to chat or to come alone to just study.. cons: smaller sized starbucks, not as many comfy chairs or "fake" fireplaces, they are only open until 10PM :( ... it's ok though because there's a dunkin robbins (I think 24hrs) next door so you can just move locations...walk & burn those calories! read more

Sometime this location is great and sometimes it's not so great. Today was one of those not so great times. I could tell by the appearance of my drink, when they handed it to me, that it wasn't going to taste right. I don't understand why there's so much inconsistency at this location? I still go here, because it's close to my apartment and convenient to get in/out of. Like i said, my order isn't always bad. I just wish they would have a better track record with making the drinks consistently taste good. In other aspects, this location is kept up well. In terms of cleanliness, the inside and outside are taken care of and kept well maintained. The parking lot could use a little work, but the drive thru is fine. Can you hire people that want to stay here? The baristas are so inconsistent. Every Wednesday I place a mobile order. When I get it, it's cold. Let me guess, customers with mobile orders don't want a drink stopper? Yes we actually want a hot drink when we pick up a mobile order. And if I order extra hot, I actually want extra hot. Not lukewarm. Oh and did I mention I want a full cup of coffee? Don't give me the foam excuse because my drinks are ordered with light foam for that reason. I pay $5.50 for a cup of coffee, I want a FULL cup of coffee. The only reason I give this place three stars is because sometimes they get it right. I would drive the extra 10 minutes and go to a different location. I have a super simple drink order and they almost always mess it up. I get an iced coffee with classic syrup and easy cream. It's either always to much cream in there or no sweetner. I know they get super busy but it's such a simple order idk how much easier it could be for them. Not to mention their dining room is closed so if you don't check your drink at the window be ready to go wait in line for another 20 minutes. The manager Karen and the new guy who works there (light complexion, tall) are super friendly. Everyone else is pretty rude and hate remaking the drinks that they mess up to begin with. read more

yeah so it's a Starbucks and it has the usual coffee and treats plus cups and stuff to make coffee or tea and water bottles this is a really small location not much seating inside and only about 8 parking spaces but it does have a drive trough and some great people working here, and there are 4 or 5 tables outside also but if you are going to the DMV or Woodfield Mall it is on the way so stop and grab a cup or two read more

I'm on a roll reviewing Starbucks locations here! Ok, so I've mentioned that I'm a former Starbucks employee and that my ratings of Starbucks locations is a bit biased. That said, you can expect my reviews of Starbucks locations to be based on service and quality of drinks. Though this is the closest, most convenient location for me, I generally try to avoid this location. There are a few employees who I have come to know as very friendly and accurate, but in general, I've been disappointed with their speed (it's a very small location, yet sometimes I end up waiting more than 5 minutes) and knowledge of the menu. One of my favorite drinks is no longer on the menu (Shaken Double Shot on Ice), but it's one that they should know. They often don't know how to make this and make it incorrectly. Again, not my favorite location. read more

This Starbucks was always good to me in the days when we lived nearby. It was on my way to everywhere. Hello, drive-thru! As efficient and quick as any average Starbucks, in my experience. There is a nice enough cafe area, even a couple of comfy chairs. No changing table in the restroom, alas. The trouble here is in the parking lot. Small and oddly shaped, cars are always having trouble maneuvering about. Today October 21 at 6:45PM Drive thru ordered grande coffee and a breakfast sandwich and cheese danish. I got a deal for $5 for grande and breakfast sandwich handed out my phone to the cashier to scan starbucks code for the deal and payment and took her forever to give my phone back. When I came home, checked my starbucks app, found out she didn't scanned the code and I got a cold sandwich! Good thing I got the cheese danish warmed up. Always super busy which is great and they try to love fast BUT they are always out of everything!!! Every time I try to order this new dragon fruit drink it's always out and protein boxes ALL of them are always out and it's not just this location it's multiple locations here, Roselle and Bloomingdale! I feel like if you order something and they don't have it you should get a voucher for the next time you come for it! Don't promote something you can't keep in stock! If your looking for a drive through, they are great. If your looking to meet, there is plenty of seats but NO PARKING! Of the 11 spots available over 1/2 of them are filled with EMPLOYEES PARKING. The employees should really find another place to park so that the paying customers can. I won't be coming here unless it's for the drive through. Most Starbucks are the same, but this one has a really crappy location. The people inside are very friendly and it is clean on the inside. Where this place suffers is the drive through. I have been here multiple times and the drive through is ALWAYS 3-4 cars deep. It is best to walk inside if you want to get a beverage in under 10min. read more
