Visiting from out of town and really wanted to try a local coffee shop. Their dragon fruit energy drink was delicious and pretty low calorie as well. My boyfriend ordered a butterscotch coffee and that was also delicious and quickly consumed. We ended up getting a ham and cheese sandwich on and asiago bagel, and it looked really thin and like there wasn't going to be much to it. It actually was one of the most delicious breakfast sandwiches that I've had in a long time, and I would say the quality outperforms Dunkin donuts in terms of the bagel. read more

So happy they opened this location. It is close to my parents house. We can stop by a lot! My husband ordered the 24 oz Banana Berry Creme Freeze and I ordered the hot sugar free caramel and mocha latte. They were both fantastic drinks. So glad they have sugar free syrups. The place is very cozy and nicely decorated. The people working here were very fun and polite. Will definitely be back. They have desserts too! read more

Greetings! I don't often double dip with two reviews close together in the calendar. However, today's visit to Biggby's Itasca location is well worth a post as they've been open for a bit and I wanted to see if high quality was sustainable in the after-glow of opening. In a word: ABSOLUTELY! The amazing aroma, pleasant staff, and outstanding products were impressive enough that I felt compelled to write it up. Even better- a lovely chat with store owner Nicole reminded me how quality leadership can propel a business forward.. I'm not alone in my thinking...a comfy crew of patrons settled in for late morning journaling and visiting. Hospitality at its finest...creating space where customers enjoy the hang. Kudos, Nicole! Bigby has quickly become our favorite chain to get coffee from. I unfortunately have always disliked Starbuck's coffee but I put up with it because it is wverywhere. The coffee here tastes so much better. They have so many flavor combinations to choose from it is crazy. Their pastries and breakfast items also are competetive. We love the staff at this location. Rude mean girl energy here. Very sad that an owner would be so aggressive unwelcoming and dismissive. I have faith her attitude on herself and the world will change so she can be serving smiles and not be so hasty to fight or prove a point but hey the owner has the right to treat us bad because theyre the owner and only theyve been through things in the world to give them the right to be nasty to customers. An unexpected stop before hitting the expressway back to Chicago. I had a great experience in Michigan but could not find the same drink here. I chose a drink that was more like a soda and it was a mistake... just wasn't what I should have ordered that day. But, my wife LOOOOVED her sugar free iced vanilla latte with oat milk!!! And she's a picky woman! So, I scored some major points! The staff was friendly and the interior was very clean and new looking. There are lots of choices. The coffee was amazing the bagel was amazing the service was amazing and even the location was amazing (very easy to get to) so I love it. Person complaining about the bagel being cold have you tried listing that you want it toasted. I got mine toasted and it was HOTTTT. Tasted great. Not much to say I just love it the coffee was so good and rich I'd definitely come back if I lived closer. Currently it just happens to be on the way home from university. Where do I even begin?! I've frequented here multiple times since they've opened. Here are my wacky experiences with each visit 1st visit- Greeted in the drive thru with a "welcome to Starbucks" which was fixed to say welcome to biggby but what a terrible way to start off your second week open. Drinks took forever and were room temperature. 2nd visit - handed the credit card reader to take into the car with me. Why on earth would you want the credit card handheld given to each person going through the drive thru, that's so unsanitary. Drinks were at least hot. 3rd visit- my husband ordered the red eye which he was upsold an extra two shots of espresso. She asked if three shots sounded good. If someone is ordering a drink off your menu, it should come with what is in the drink, not upselling espresso shots without telling someone. The drink was freaking $10 and it was the franchise owner who did it. I was in pure shock. 4th visit - get to the drive thru window (haven't seen the same employee twice yet) and she just opens the window and doesn't say a word. It's was Tuesday this week at 2:30 which is supposed to be half price drinks from 2-4 according to their Facebook posts that we were supposed to keep in mind. Guess the half price drinks on Tuesday from 2-4 are a sham cause they were full price. I will not come back here and pay full price for drinks. If I have a coupon fine, but otherwise no way. What a disappointment, we were so excited for them to open but the drinks are overpriced and the employees are slow and incompetent read more

I wanted to give a huge shout-out to the incredible team here! The staff is picking up skills quickly and already delivering excellent service. This business has given me the best starting experience I could ask for. Regarding last week's soft opening with free drinks: I saw some frustration over wait times. Please remember that this was an initial learning period, and you need to give grace. For many, it was their very first week, and they handled the rush admirably. Also, a quick note: this establishment just opened and is not offering DoorDash or delivery services yet. When leaving feedback, please be honest, fair, and considerate of the dedicated baristas and the effort they are putting in. This place was terrible. Ordered 2 - 24oz coffees with cream and sugar and it took over 20 minutes (after we checked in about it). The young cashier was nice but asked what we ordered, which we told her again 2 - 24 Oz coffees which then she started brewing again. We were tempted to ask for a refund, but wanted to give them a change. Not a good experience and most likely will not be back. read more

Nicole's smiling greeting welcomed us to the new Biggby location. As a long time die hard fan of Biggby, I was thrilled to get my fix during the grand opening week. The drinks and food were perfect. Just what I was used to. This location has indoor seating with tables and a few comfy chairs, so you can soak up that which makes Biggby awesome. I wanted to love this place. However, the only thing I loved about it , was the nice lady that owns it. we got two drinks and two bagel sandwiches and the coffee was not good. The bagel sandwiches were not heated up. The one was very soggy , the other one was made incorrectly, but still did not taste good and the best part is as it was $30. this was a really bad look for my first impression of Biggby in Itasca. I retrieve my food first and then wait about 15 minutes to retrieve my drink once I retrieve my drink after I seen them remake it three times I noticed that my food is incorrect. It then takes them another 5+ minutes to take care of the mistakes I was there for about 30 minutes just waiting on my food and drink. Lots of customers were in the lobby upset NoBody seemed to be getting exactly what they ordered or it seemed like there was no organization I usually think highly of Biggby, but this was a big a big letdown for the service that I received. I love Biggby, but paying the prices and waiting around for my things to not be right , PMO. read more
