Ordered a shaken espresso with 1 pump pumpkin syrup and 1 pump cinnamon dolce to-go. There were 2 orders ahead of mine, so I waited for about 5 mins for my order at 930 on a Saturday morning. Not too much seating but there are a couple open parklets on this block I appreciate that the barista making my drink was honest about forgetting to include cinnamon dulce even though my drink was finished and decided to redo my drink without me asking about it. 10/10 customer service. So glad this 100 calorie drink came out tasting exactly what I was hoping for! read more

This Starbucks in Noe Valley is one of my favorites. They always make great drinks and I've never seen them mess up my order. I was bummed when they closed for renovations for what seemed to be forever, but they have reopened and the place looks better than before. There's a bit of seating at this location, not a whole lot. And there is a restroom in the back, ask them for the bathroom code. The only thing I don't like about this location is how they close early. There have been times when I wanted to grab something after they are closed. read more

I start my mornings with tea from Starbucks. I want to share that Noe Starbucks is lead by a store manager that authentically believes in the customer experience. With the recent changes from the CEO, the local experience is changing in a positive way. The new goal is to engage positively and with intention to make everyone feel significant and cared for like a cafe family. These changes are positive. They are somewhat new so everyone has not embraced or is learning how to develop their skill set to meet these new intentions. For those team members that shine in this department, it is nice to see the opportunity to really flourish and create a customer smile, connection and possibly a stepping stone to an improved day. The power of the 'green apron' can be truly abundant. Thank you to all the team members that make a difference. You are appreciated. You make the transaction transformational. That is what the goal should always be. Bravo to those of you at Noe that make the effort to put a smile on the face of a customer, bring the sound of laughter, offer a written message on a cup, build a deeper connection from a prior visit, engage with eye contact and overall improve the day of a customer. Unfortunately I do not remember the baristas name who helped me with my order but he was amazing. He was so kind, welcoming, helpful and definitely deserves employee of the month! I had multiple drinks that I needed a bit of help with but he made it so smooth and easy with great suggestion. This was the best experience Ive had at this location. OMG! I just walked into Starbucks and was immediately greeted by both of the baristas. They had music on and were singing to it, which lit up the whole room. They brought me my bagel quickly and provided great service. When one of the baristas shift finished and she was leaving, everyone (majority costumers and baristas) said goodbye, which brought good vibes in. This Starbucks recently remodeled and it looks great! My main issue is with the quality of the drinks. This morning I ordered a peppermint mocha and it was burnt and while I ordered a grande, my cup was only 3/4 full before I even took a sip. I've had issues before where they give me caffeinated coffee instead of decaf, they make the wrong drink, or they don't fulfill my drink instructions (like not including 1 topping). It's never been enough to complain about until now. I feel bad for staff because this location does get busy because of nearby schools but every coffee order I've gotten has had something wrong. Additionally, I often hear the workers complain about customers that just left. While no one likes a Karen, don't do that loudly while there's other customers are around. It's trashy. read more

I had an issue with a coffee mug which was bought as a gift. It was clearly defective, as was demonstrated to the store manager. Because it was a gift, not only would they not refund it, they wouldn't give store credit. While manager Keith was nice about it, he wasn't helpful at all. Called customer service who was no better. Almost impossible to reach anyone with any power to resolve the issue. Starbucks has definitely lost a customer, but warning to all who buy their ceramic mugs; they leak. Imagine if they leaked hot coffee instead of water. Let a lawsuit see the error of their ways. Penny wise, pound foolish. read more

After the renovation with new people it's been a challenging moments here, one drink costs a long, long wait. I always ordered Americano, doesn't taste the same as before, will not be coming to this place. It's a sign to make my own at home or get it from Martha's down the street. None of the Starbucks, be it anywhere in the world has blown my mind so far. This one is no different. My partner is a fan of starbucks for a very weird reason - the coffee comes at the right temperature that does not burn your mouth and you don't have to wait for it to cool down. I guess it's important when you are on the run, but I would go for taste more than the perfectness of the temperature. Coffee : Okay, the only reason this place got 3 is because of the staff and the ambience. I took away a star because the coffee wasn't too great and we'd also taken hot chocolate with whipped cream. I wish the hot chocolate was a little thicker and less sweet. It wasn't even close to what I had expected and there was no sign of that whipped cream I had requested. Ambience : This is a cute little store in Noe valley and as is with all the stores here, I love that it looks like a mom and pop store instead of a chain. There is no seating here - thanks to covid and so its just one empty space except the bar. My partner said that it used to be a nice place to sit and work while sipping on coffee at the right temperature, back in the day. This place maintains the covid rules of mask and social distancing. Staff : Friendly, attentive and cheerful. Value for money : I know that hardcore Starbucks fans exist and that they will always be loyal to it, but I've had better coffee in other places in Noe. read more

Noe Valley Starbucks, as it is often called, is a smallish Starbucks on the corner of 24th and Noe St, a great location right in the middle of 24th St. business district. The folks that run it are super nice and always pleasant and run things fairly smoothly. If you are craving one of the signature Starbucks coffee drinks or breakfast items (love the egg whites), this place will do the trick. The only negative is this place is kind of small and tired and could really use a renovation. It is fairly sparse inside and there are no comfy places to sit, and there is no seating outside. Not really a place to hang out, just a grab and go for most. With a great location like this, it would be nice if they had more options to sit inside and outside. read more

Have been back to SF for 12 months now and have been here 2 times. The first time my Starbucks app funds were a bit low and the barista gave me some favor so I didn't have to add more money into it. That was very sweet and nice. He looked a bit older than the rest of staff and appeared leading the operation there so I'm not sure if he's the manager or just a senior staff member. Lots of customers know him and he was chatting with everybody, like he's running a show on the stage. The place is very small, but has its color and spice so it's fun. overall recommended to anyone! read more

Nice people working there. The building went through extensive renovations not long ago (as of June 2024). While the interior looks much refreshed, one key feature has been intentionally removed, i.e. all power outlets for customers. You can't work on your laptop for too long anymore. For me the ability to study and work on my laptop while enjoying coffee and pastries was a key reason to come to Starbucks. This is a dealbreaker for me. read more

This Starbucks needs more employees. Every time I go in there is one person on the register who ringing up customers, warming the food and working the mobile orders. Then they only have one barista working all the drink orders. Waited over 20 minutes for 2 Honey Citrus Mint teas. read more

Nice and friendly staff members providing very efficient service. Clean spacious store, plenty of seats and outdoor seating is available. This is another Starbucks that gets 5 stars for the availability of breakfast sandwiches at 3 pm. I do like that the Wi-Fi signal here is very strong. The music being broadcasted is good and soft which is something I like. It is always good to have background music and the volume here is perfect. If you want a place to finish homework assignments or conversate with classmates, friends and colleagues, then you found the right spot. Two benches for outdoor seating right in front of the store. This is my go to spot for a quick coffee fix when I am in Noe Valley. Update on visit from 07/03/2014: This store looks clean and spacious, plus it went through renovations making improvements more noticeable. I really needed something for that caffeine fix and Starbucks obviously was nearby, problem solved. Muni route 48 Quintara 24th St passes by. Therefore, public transit is a very good alternative. FYI: Wi-Fi here is now Google Starbucks* *"Free Wi-Fi from Google"* Wi-Fi signal is very fast here - props to that! read more

Every time i have been in here - probably a dozen times or so - they have been super slammed and every time they look like they are working their absolute hardest to serve coffee and breakfast to a billion waiting people. It's incredibly crowded in the morning (7-8:30ish is when I'm usually there), so if you're the type of person who only has five or so minutes to be in and out before work I'd suggest a different one, but man do these employees work their tails off. Props to them, seriously. Never had an issue with the coffee or anything here and they always give me the extra whip I ask for (gotta get that early morning sugar rush). Parking is also usually easily if you're a commuter or drive commercial like I do. Oh! And one last thing - whoever draws the customer of the month sign/portraits: you are ***ridiculously*** talented. The detail they get in that drawing is insane. This starbucks makes kids wait outside in line while adults or kids with parents go in any time. Their reason for this is due to the noise created by kids and students going there which apparently makes it harder for workers to hear the orders. I was there the other day with my sister and it was freezing outside. My sister ended up getting sick because a worker couldnt listen better. This is ridiculous read more

Laptops to the side, children to the middle. The line gets stupid kinda long way too often, and I'm not really sure why. I do very much like it here and often work during the week perched on the perimeter benches. There's a pretty friendly staff, good coffee, free wifi...a lot to like. However, to address some residents, what gives? I dont need to be slobbered over by your giant dog that you tied to the bench by the front door while you grabbed a latte. I also dont need to see you prance in with your little dog off leash. All that time you were deciding on which scone to get, your little dog is running about behind the counter and under tables, eating whatever it can off the floor and sniffing at my bag. Starbucks is like any other quick-service food chain... You've been there at least once so you know what to expect. With that in mind, a few things I noted: -Quick service at the register -Not overly crowded. People come in, then get out -Empty seat/table available so that I can sip my drink and surf the web in peace It was a beautiful, sunny, hot Noe Valley day and walking along 24th Street made me thirsty... so I stopped into Starbucks for an ice cold refreshing Vanilla Bean Frappucino... HOWEVER I noted the following: 1) Yes I came in to sit and cool down and sip my icy drink but the AC was blasting too much that I couldn't stand it anymore and figured I might as well take my chances in the sun and risk sweating/heatstroke than to freeze inside Starbucks. 2) There was something in my Vanilla Bean Frap that was... Missing. I couldn't quite put my finger on it but it was the most bland, unfulfilling VBF that I'd ever tasted. It didn't taste like a VBF... just some crushed ice with milk and whipped cream.. It lacked... something. Maybe it needed a bit more vanilla flavoring? Maybe I'll ask for an extra shot of vanilla flavoring next time and see if that does the trick?? read more

First time I came here, the cashier forgot to print my ticket order or whatever they need to do to send the order to the baristas so multiple people who came after me got their orders first. Only when I complained did they figure it out. Today, the cashier entered my order wrong, so I got a hot drink when I wanted it iced. I used to come here when my kid was attending the middle school close by. There is never room to sit down as there are always nannys and other moms with the toddlers there with huge strollers and tons of adults using their laptops. I only have to say when I have gone in to order a coffee I am not always treated the same way as if the first or last person behind. I've gone in and the cashier smiles, says how are you to customer in front or back of me when ordering but when I come up to order its more like a stare no greeting. It comes from a particular women employee there, I think she is the manager. read more
