This is a nice remodeled Starbucks, it was remodeled about a year ago.. I really like the iinside and outside area and the bar seating area by the baristas. The staff is really nice and will remember you if you're a regular there. It gets busy but I've noticed that most Starbucks are. My drinks are always hot and just how I order them. If you want a treat, get a cake pop! The only thing I don't like is the layout of the parking lot that it is in. There is no "easy way" in or out. read more

I love going to Starbucks and working, I work from home so this gets me out of the house to work on occasion, so I have been to A LOT of different Starbucks in Orange County. Last Friday 4/25 I went to this Starbucks and was DISGUSTED! This has to be one of the worst as far as cleanliness and it doesn't rate very high in customer service either compared to the many other stores I have been to. I live near this Starbucks in San Clemente and I drive past it to go to another city most of the time. I had a bad experience about a year ago here when I bought my coffee, got my computer all set up, just to find out that their WiFi was not working and when I asked the staff, they just looked at me with a dear in headlights and said they didn't know if it was working or not. First I walked in and nobody said hello or acknowledged me, they were not busy at all. I was looking for a table near a outlet to plug in my computer and there were none really visible, the store had only 2 customers in it and one was on a computer, he noticed I was looking around and asked me if I needed help, I told him I needed an outlet, he pointed to the one behind him that was behind a divider that went to the other side of the store by the entry next to the cream and sugar cart - it was not something we could both access, so I kept looking and I found only one other one in a nook corner behind a two larger chairs that I had to physically move away to try to reach, and that was my first clue of how disgusting this place was - the corner was filled cobwebs!! EW! I had to touch some to plug my computer in - then as I sat down there was a small table between the chairs, I went to put my computer down on it and stopped short because it was coated with a thick film of stickyness from old spills, not fresh, a few layers worth! YUCK! I left my 17" computer on my lap, it would not even had helped to clean it off with a napkin! Then looked to the right and the wall had white stains splattered all over it! I am not a germaphobe, but I was so grossed out by my experience here, i got up and left. I will not be back to this location. This is one rare location of Starbucks where they always have a good selection of limited quantity specialty Starbuck's Coffee. This Starbucks was remodeled not too long ago, so there are some comfy seats inside and a variety of seating inside and out. My boyfriend loves this particular location for it is one of the few Starbucks in Orange County that has the Starbucks Reserve coffee... and the only one in south Orange County to have the Clover machine to make it on. I love my White Chocolate Mocha or in Holiday Times my Creme Brulee Latte... I love the fru fru coffee and my mother and boyfriend love the regular coffee so it is a great place to go! The people are nice and it is always got a good crowd of people. The locals gather round and if you come often enough they get to know you really well and your order before you start to request it! read more

I gotta say I'm totally not a fan of this location. They are way too busy, and too understaffed. Half of the time the staff is screwing around and not paying attention to the enormous line that forms in like 3 seconds. They have forgotten my order twice and have gotten it wrong once. I would rather drive to the Dana Point location on PCH, they are head and shoulders above this location in terms of service and friendliness. read more

Super stoked on this Starbucks.... Went in to this one one day last week.... came up a tad short for my Venti Americano and the Barista pulled change out of his tip jar to take care of my drink... Yes I felt like an ass but he insisted.... I kept saying I had more in the car but he would not let up... Worst Starbucks ever. The employees are so rude. Line of customers about 6 deep, 3 baristas behind the counter, and nobody is making a drink or taking an order. Customers are clearly not their priority. They are also claiming they don't have decaf coffee... How does an international coffee shop not have decaf? I requested a pour over since decaf wasn't brewing at the moment, and they told me they "don't do pour overs at this store because they have a clover machine". (That's a non sequitur if you ask me.) I frequent Starbucks daily and every other location that has a clover machine somehow manages to do a pour over. If you weren't disappointed by now after the rude employees, just look around the store. It's disgusting. It needs to be cleaned, napkins need to be refilled, as do the bathroom supplies. These employees really just don't seem to care about the brand they represent. Don't waste your time stopping by here, drive another block and hit up the next available Starbucks. read more

I travel almost every day for work and tend to meet people and frequent Starbucks all over SoCal and the western states. If it weren't for being close to home I wouldn't come to this location. I always wait at least 10 minutes for an order, today there was nobody in line when I walked in and it still took way to long to get a simple drink. read more

You need no smoking signs and to enforce the "no smoking within 25 feet of the door" policy at this Starbucks. I will not patronize this store because of the thick, disgusting curtain of cigarette smoke you must almost always walk through to enter the store. It's against CA law to smoke near doorways of public buildings. Why do you allow your customers to sit out there chain smoking right next to the door? Gross. read more

I was again helped by the lovely Makayla who actually said hi this time but when she grabbed the cup she slammed it on the counter and as I watched her make my drink she kept slamming things around. I'm sorry that me coming in to order my drink at 8PM is interrupting your cleaning duties but your store closes at 10PM. I could understand if she was having a bad day but the last time I was in here she had the same look on her face. She must really hate working here or she has a really bad case of resting bitch face. Yesterday, 2/12/17, I went in and ordered a caramel macchiato with 2 extra shots of espresso. When I received it, it tasted like just milk and caramel. When I went to tell the barista at the time, Kayla, she walked away and I had to ask someone else to remake my drink, making me late for work. Then, while talking to one of the other baristas, the same barista gave so much attitude! Slamming down keys on the counter top. I REALLY want to love this Starbucks since all the employees are (usually) very sweet and attentive. However it seems that no matter what time of day that I go here, there's only one person making all the drinks and I usually end up waiting about 15 minutes. And I'm not a fancy drink type of person so I really have no idea what the hold up could be. Even if there IS another employee, I somehow still end up waiting much longer than one should. When I only get a 30 minute lunch break I would rather not spend half of it waiting for a $3 coffee. Shoutout to Erica for always being an angel! Went here on vacation this last week. I have traveled the US and been to about a hundred Starbucks. This was by far the best tasting with the friendliest baristas. I made an exotic drink order that they weren't too used to, and were very happy to get me my drink done right when it was busy there, and golly!!! it was the best version of it I've ever had. read more

Super annoying. I ordered English Breakfast tea, but was given Earl Grey. Unfortunately, I didn't taste it until we had already driven away and I'm with 2 fussy kids so I can't go back. Uggg the worst experience in a Starbucks EVER! Rarely do I stop in for a cup of Joe. I stopped in at 10:30 in the morning asked for a decaf They told me, " We don't brew Decaf. I'll make a pour over". 13 min later my coffee arrived cold. I asked to speak to shift lead. She was rude and took another minute to even walk over to me when I shared my frustrations regarding the wait , cold coffee and that Starbucks should always have a pot of decaf available to its customers. I also pointed out that 3 customers were all there at the same time for decaf coffee. Starbucks has to do one thing Make Coffee. That's it. It's a coffee house. She told me that it's expensive to make decaf and have it available on demand. What a joke. Starbucks is doing just fine and can afford some decaf loss now and then. Oh and Ps? The store was filthy. I would never think of giving a review to Starbucks, you order coffee when your on the go and you don't think about giving them a review because after all its Starbucks great service and quick - usually I have a great experience anytime I go and I go a lot! However this Starbucks is the worst I keep going back just to see if they get any better, I think they lack management or something - the Starbucks off PICO in San Clemente is 100X better. Anyway this is why I don't like this Starbucks and I am not going back! 1st the service is terrible never greeted with a smile and the cashiers cant help make the coffee so once they hand off the order your in the Baristas hands - 2nd I waited 20 minutes for an iced coffee there was no line, the barista was having a in depth conversation with the other non barista person not sure who they were.. they basically did not care that I was standing there and just kept talking when I finally asked after they made three hot drinks in front of mine they said oh yeah your next ?? Really?? No manger appears to ever be on duty their and its a shame because it has a great location and used to be top notch but I will not go to that loaction again until they start caring!
