As always, another great Starbucks location! The staff here is so amazing, very warm and welcoming and they make sure to greet everyone that walked through the door when we were there. They are just all very friendly and an overall great experience. Instead of mobile ordering we ordered in store and our drinks were out very quickly and tasted amazing! The store is super clean and nice sized and has plenty of seating indoors. They also have a nice selection of merchandise if you ever need a quick gift or even picking up something for yourself. This location has a drive through, is fairly close to the freeway, has plenty of parking and pretty easy to get in and out. Guess I haven't been to a Starbucks in the last 120 days, my phone offloaded the app. So I downloaded it and let a couple people go before me. I usually get the mango dragon fruit refresher drink with light ice, vanilla latte or a chai tea latte But today I decided to try something else. I tried a green tea latte and substituted the milk for almond milk. I got honey as a sweetener. I asked if they can put no ice in it, and they said that they can mix it with no ice so that worked well for me! I should've asked for a little more honey cause I can hardly taste it, and I don't eat or drink many sugary things in general, and I could barely taste it. All good next time I know just to ask for a pinch more. The girl was really patient when I was asking questions or trying to figure out what I wanted to try, and my substitutions. She didn't rush me, and I pulled up the app and had signed in before I made the order, but didn't realize I didn't have any funds left over, so she helped me scan to pay and load me up! The customers are probably pretty chill at this location because nobody complained about how long it took. I use the restroom at this location and there wasn't a lock on it so I didn't have to go back and ask for some pin number which was nice! I stepped outside and got some sunshine Also while waiting. They have a nice patio area with little tables and chairs. If you had a larger party, I'm sure you could put the tables and chairs together yourself. The whole area is pretty cute actually! Lots of little shops and restaurants within walking distance from this location. Parking was pretty easy, there's a parking lot in the back that I easily found a spot in. This place was right off the highway and I might come back a different time on my way home from San Diego and explore the area more! read more

Great friendly service ... we had a busy day in San Clemente... tired from the days activities, we decided to stop for coffee before getting on the Freeway for the drive home. Wyatt greeted us and made pleasant conversation as we waited for the Barrista to prepare our selections. The benefit to this location is how BIG it is inside. I like the attention to detail and all the artwork. The inside is spacious and there's some seating outside too. The parking can be a bit cramped, but it's a great location. Also, it's always very clean inside with a lot of seating. My only recommendation is turning down the music a bit. Went here in the middle of the day with the whole fam. Lady at the drive through was continually rushing us through the order, which was 4 drinks and 4 snacks. Up front, the woman at the window barely talked to us or looked our direction except for handing the drinks. They forgot one snack, had to remind them. Drinks were low quality, not filled up to the top and not light ice, which was specifically requested and supposed to be added. On one drink, we added two extra inclusion scoops which costed extra. But, when we received the drink, there was barely any inclusion, looked like barely one scoop. No "thanks" or "have a great day" and horrible customer service experience. Stopped in for a Lavender Oatmilk tea limited special featured on their App. Good lavender flavor, but it pretty much tastes like lavender Oatmilk. As the ice melts it get watered down and deleted in taste. Refreshing. I think it needs something more though, like a punch of vanilla. Will try again with almond or coconut milk. The good: This is a very spacious Starbucks with a really beautiful interior. They have a large communal table inside with leather ottomans, arched windows and modern lights. Their barista counter is very long. I tried the mango dragon fruit drink and the new pineapple matcha drink in a grande. I like their these drinks were refreshing, unique and not overly sweet. The dragon fruit drink had fun chunks of dehydrated pitaya inside that added a nice crunch and gave the drink the signature bright magenta color. I also liked that they had sippy cups that made it possible to drink without straws. The bad: Their drinks have a lot of ice. I ordered a kiwi star drink originally but they ran out. So this is now the FORTH time that I have ordered strawberry puree to my strawberry matcha and PAID A WHOLE DOLLAR FOR IT, only for them to continually not add it. This time I decided to actually speak up about it and reminded them to add the strawberry puree when they handed me it without it... they poured my drink into a new cup and lied to me saying that they added the puree but I know they didn't - you can visibly see that they just poured the same drink again and added nothing. I'm paying an extra dollar for puree, it takes two seconds to pour it from the container to the cup, please stop charging me a WHOLE EXTRA DOLLAR for it every time just to not give me my puree. I tip every time even when they do this, and it's very depressing that I'm tipping and regularly ordering from them only to be consistently ignored in my requests.
