This is the wrong way to start a morning... What's the point of ordering via app with a pick-up time when ordered, when they can not fulfill it? They indicated the never recieved my order, how convenient... I had to stand in a long line to re-order, 15 mins long. Finally got to the front and told the associate that the app prompted me to pay in store, but they recieved the order. So he turned to his boss to inquire and the manager had an attitude towards the both of us like we were a bother from looking confused as he spun in circles. While standing and waiting for my drink everyone who ordered online had to wait because their drinks weren't made or an associate had to look for it because they never put it on the drink bar. Lucky I was not on my way to a meeting. This whole ordeal took almost an hour!!! I rather go into a gas station to get my coffee. At least I know I pay for what I got instead of a grande drink and it's only filled half way (no whipped cream ordered)...there should be no reason a $5 drink should be filled to only half way. Came here on my break from work to grab me and my co worker some drinks to get through the day. We both ordered the Caramel frapp and I also ordered a cinnamon roll. So I ordered and was rushed out of line I stood waiting for my drinks I got the drinks then waited for my roll. Staff is always friendly. Marked down due to their speediness. Multiple occasions coworkers and myself have spent our whole break waiting for our food or drink. If they have more than 2 customers at a time, expect a 10 minute wait. I usually order from my mobile app unless I'm not sure of what I am ordering. I've been coming to this location for over two years during my work week. I come early in the morning and sometimes for lunch (it's close to work). Hands down, the best customer Service in San Clemente. This is coming from a guy who's managed a busy local food business and understands how much goes on behind the scenes of a busy establishment like this Starbucks here. These employees are kind, well versed in the skills of their job, and it's obvious that they are happy to be working there. I feel every major establishment who has employees representing their company should send their staff to this location to observe, especially the new coffee shops here who make amazing coffee, but consistently have employees who seem to have this "too cool" vibe brewing with the coffee beans. If I could leave no stars I would. This used to be our company's go to. No longer. Since they have a new morning crew now, they suck at making orders. Nothing is ever correct. They never make the caramel machiattos correctly (forgetting caramel or vanilla pumps ) and forget the cream cheese to bagels when its paid for, or we order with no ice and the drinks have ice, etc. Because we send one person to get all of our mobile orders, we never know they are incorrect until they get back to the office, which is too late! Listen, this is a pricey habit. Every morning we order and drop at least 40 to 50 dollars a day. I've texted the complaint/feedback site and what they do is apologize for the inconvenience and credit our order for whatever was incorrect. But that is not fixing the issue that keeps occurring. This needs to be rectified. I will not be ordering from this store any longer. There is a drive through Starbucks opening up at pico and the 5 freeway base that I will be dropping my money at now. read more

I avoid this Starbucks as much as I can, more often than not they get my drink wrong, even if it's rung up correctly. The manager even made my drink today and it wasn't correct. In the past, I've had to ask for a remake for a drink, and one of the shift leads was quite rude to me, insisting I was wrong and fighting me about it instead of making the moment right and remaking the drink. They then gossiped and laughed about me, in front of me. Lots of bad experiences, which is really unfortunate because there are some partners at this store that are kind and do care, but many that don't. Ordered 3 drinks. There were two people in front of me and a slow pace of 3-4 people that trickled in after me as I was waiting for my 3 drinks- a black coffee, a hot tea, and a cappuccino. Not difficult orders by any means, no special additions, no milk substitutes- just those drinks straight up. The black coffee came up first. The cappuccino came up a couple minutes after- it was more of a latte as there was way too much milk and not enough foam.
