What a little gem of a find while strolling down the main drag of San Clemente. There seemed to be a collection of coffee shops all around this area , each one unique in their own way, Sur Coffee I'm glad I stumbled across. Ordered a cappuccino with whole milk and was pleased to hear it came in an 8oz cup and not a 12 and also two shots of espresso. Not all coffee shops give you two shots and not everyone has an 8oz cup available. The coffee tasted amazing and was prepared to perfection, absolutely also loved the vibe of this place.... will definitely visit again!! Oh, I should've got the barista's name, he was superb.

Amazing coffee and breakfast! Customer service is always so delightful and very professional! Great start to the day

Bagel breakfast sandwich was good and made to order. I think the coffee was fine as well. This is a smaller shop so expect a short wait until you can order and get your drink.

Iced matcha latte, unsweetened with almond milk.

Tried Sur Coffee for the first time and enjoyed it! Their matcha has a great color & good taste. I asked for extra matcha.

I found it to be very pleasant and relaxing. The order taker with dark brown hair was super friendly with helping me pick my first drink, and he showed me all the signature drinks. He asked for my name and then instructed me how to pick up my order, which is on the opposite side of the bar area near the barista. They should call your name. It's kinda loud overall so you'll have to pay attention and listen We got a traditional vanilla iced latte as well as the coconut cream cold brew. Both were delicious. They use pebble ice. I'm generally not a huge fan just because it waters the drinks down a lot quicker. But it was delicious nonetheless very thick coconut cream on top. I only wish that the iced drinks were a lot bigger. But that would probably throw off the milk to espresso ratio. Outside, there's plenty of seating both couches and patio chairs. Inside cool vibes. I heard there's Wi-Fi but I did not use it. Really funky cool bathrooms. Overall, we had a great experience. I would definitely come back. I think prices are in line with everything else in town. You can opt for your drink for here which comes in glass or to go. We wanted to go in case we decide to get up early and go walk around. Street parking although there's some municipal lots. Pet friendly as well.

I ordered a muffin and the hua kai which is their cold brew with house coconut foam. The muffin was good. Perfect for pairing with a cup of coffee, but unfortunately I really didn't like the hua kai. The cold brew tasted almost sour and attempting to mix in some of the coconut foam did not help me offset the taste. I hate to throw away anything edible (and expensive) but I really didn't like their cold brew and could not get myself to finish it.

You will also have the rest of the beans for 4 to 7 days before being able to use them. You can purchase the beans in three different size bags. Can't wait to go back! I read that this is owned by a Japanese couple who has extensive knowledge and love for coffee. Tucked in a corner within a small shopping plaza by a Japanese bakery, Mameya is a micro roaster that offering coffee enthusiasts and connoisseurs an opportunity to select over a dozen raw single origin and blend beans. Excellence in every Roast. at Mameya, there is precisely. And passion to every bean. Service is great. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly if you have any questions or inexperienced. The ambiance is intimate and rather small. There isn't a lot of space where you can sit or stand. Pros: I ordered their pour over common blend and it was solid. I also grabbed a 12oz bag of their Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Natural. It took about 20 minutes for them to complete the roasting process. After 4 days, I grinned the beans for a pour over and could tell this was already going to be a decent cup of joe. I did not see any significant bloom but the draw time was great based on my grind size. Cons: This shop is too far and too small so if there is a line and you don't have time, you might have to skip the experience. While I don't anticipate Mameya expanding, I would come back in a while.

Ambience 5/5 Located in the same plaza as sprouts, there is plenty of parking in the parking lot, when you walk in there are a mixture of tables and bar seating/booths along the wall. Grateful for groups of 4 to 5, we're coming here solo or for a coffee date. There are outlets along the front wall, our seating, and the booths on the side to get work done (great plus!). They do play music so noise level is average with the typical coffee shop. Sounds as well. What I really loved was the multitude of sitting areas around the whole coffee shop and also a little play area for toddlers. (Kitchen play) next to the door -- so adorable! Drink 5/5 I got a small lavender latte, it tastes super flavorful, strong lavender flavor, and I asked for a little bit light sweetness (less honey). Sometimes when I get lavender lattes, they have a little bit of bitter aftertaste, but this wasn't the case at all. They also have awesome looking seasonal flavors that I'll have to come back to try sometime. Service 5/5 I know others have had something to say, but everyone was super friendly and you could tell that coworkers got along -- seems like a really good work culture where people become friends :) Overall, I love to this coffee shop. If I lived near the area, I would definitely be a regular, but will certainly keep this as a place to stop by when I'm passing through the area!

Totally worth the walk. The shop is simple and minimalistic inside, with a clean layout and a plant right in the center that gives the space a calm, relaxed vibe. Nothing flashy, just thoughtfully designed and comfortable. I ordered the iced Spanish latte and my mom got the iced chai. Both had an excellent balance of sweetness and coffee or tea flavor. Smooth, refreshing, and perfect for sipping while sitting on the sand. The workers were friendly and easy to order from, which made the experience even better. One thing that stood out to us was their logo, two hands shaped like coming together. In sign language, that sign means "connect," so as Deaf individuals, we immediately noticed it and wondered about the meaning behind it. It made the name "Rapport" feel even more intentional. Great drinks, welcoming service, and a perfect stop before heading back to the beach. We'd definitely do that walk again.

Interior is minimalist and clean. Baristas were all very nice. The cold brew coffee was one of the best I've had -- smooth, but robust, with a complex taste. AND it was under $5, which is a steal! I read that they roast coffees on site and I wouldn't doubt it! Unfortunately, while bean coffee was $23 for 200g, which is 7oz! My local roaster (Kean) would have the same price for 12oz. In their defense, they did have a massive bag that was $25. They had a bunch of great latte options, an espresso tonic, and tea options. They have pastries that looked delicious too. A great coffee and highly worth a visit!
