This 7 Eleven is a dump but their employees are pretty nice. The gas is very expensive because it's competing with the overpriced Shell across the street. When I say expensive I mean a good 20 cents higher per gallon than one freeway exit down (Avery). I didn't even know there was a bathroom because it's always blocked off with a wet floor sign provably because it's always broken. Sometimes, there is a smell of feces throughout the store probably because of this bathroom. During those free slurpee days it is common that they run out of slurpee, cups, or both. Don't bother coming here when J Serra is in sesson either, especially when school is getting out. The traffic is hellish. read more

UPDATE: I returned to this 711 to express my frustration regarding the night before. After a very, very polite conversation with the gentleman who brushed me off the night before; and an explanation of what was happening that night prior to my return. This particular 711 went ABOVE AND BEYOND all expectations to insure that my issue was resolved. I applaud these fine employees and there EXTREME professionalism in making sure I was satisfied and the issue resolved. Thank you Nick, and the whole crew at the 711 on San Juan Capistrano !!!! Assuming new employee I am a regular, I walk in the door and they already know what I'm there for.. :) Everyone is great at this location: awesome customer service, energy, & friendly people. Tonight= opposite I called to put my order in and he told me he cannot do that because he needed to charge me first right away I figured he's new so I just said OK and as I was finishing up my sentence he just clicked on me. never click on a customer. It's just rude. I arrive and asked him if it was him if he helped me on the phone and he shushed me. The other customer he was helping even looked at me like "really!" They finished and I told him I was there to order pizza. It was probably beeping for an extra three minutes before he took it out. Pizza was super crispy and over cooked.. this place is such an awesome location never had any issues here, I would hate for one sour apple to ruin the rest.. my only bad experience at one of my favorite spots. read more

I just went in here to get gas, coffee, and some snacks. When I went to pay at the register I used the touch screen... after touching it I realized it had sticky- greasy fingerprints on it, so much it came off onto my fingers and was still slathered on the screen as well. Immediately I said " oh no this has sticky- greasy- fingerprints on it, it's all over my fingers now!" In astonishment by the amount of nastiness. I cleaned the screen the best I could (Without an offer of assistance from the lady behind the register). After wiping down the screen with a napkin , I asked the lady if she had some hand sanitizer I could use behind the counter, her response was "no, this is an overnight gas station, it's not gonna be that clean." Ummm... first off.. oh really smart#ss? Is that where I am? Duh. If those are your standards, I'm horrified to know the cleanliness of their grab and go food, and coffee station.. not to mention the employees hands. If she doesn't think it's necessary, or in their standards, to clean off a screen that customers use with greasy- sticky- fingerprints on it, then the hygiene of this place must be absolutely disgraceful, disgusting, and in need of a visit from the health department. Luckily, my standards are higher than hers so I cleaned my hands with the hand sanitizer in my car. Oh really... an overnight gas station? Review for the 76 station. Called ADAM ENTERPRISES INC on receipt. 10161909. 26572 Junipero Serra, SJC. No phone number provided. The only reason to go to this 76 is because the gas is 3 cents cheaper than the Chevron across the street. The islands are filthy, trash cans usually overflowing, towels and receipt paper usually out. Getting to the pumps is usually challenging because of all the trucks, and Serra traffic. Damn, I just talked myself out of going here again; I guess CHEVRON it is... for the 30-50 cents per tank difference, I can get to the pumps easier, without waiting. read more

I am a bit of a snob when it comes to coffee and the mere thought of gas station coffee makes me throw up in my mouth a little. But I was particularly cranky the first time I stopped here and I needed caffeine. The lady working there (Layla) told me that if I didn't like it, I wouldn't have to pay for it. The coffee was surprisingly fresh and tasty. It definitely hit the spot. I also tried their honey mustard and onion flavored pretzels, which cost 99 cents for a bag. Picture a homeless person, who has not showered in 30 days and uses leaves for toilet paper. That homeless person's rectum is cleaner than this 7-11. Stopped to use the bathroom with my son, buy snacks and get gas. Bathroom was blocked by many cases of soda and water. My son has a very small wheelchair that is only 20 inches wide and we could not get by. A walking person likely would have had trouble as well but could squeeze by. Thankfully we hadn't bought gas or snacks yet. Manager said they would move everything when I complained. With the amount of stuff piled there that would have taken quite a while. So after a wonder experience the first few times, I realized that 7Eleven needs to crack down. The one reason I go to 7Eleven is their coffee, and the fact that if they don't have the flavor I want, they will make it fresh. Two times now, they haven't has more than 3 flavors and refused to make any more. It's a 7Eleven policy - you can't just decline if you don't feel like it today, sorry. For "convenience" store in a gas station ... it's OK, friendly service. But it's next to JSerra Field sport complex off I-5 in San Juan Capistrano, it got jammed with post-game foot traffic - lot of customers coming to buy a quick snack after a game. I had to wait a while for my transaction. Easy in-and-out for coming off the freeway for gas and snacks and getting back on the freeway. read more

Always stop by this place for coffee and blueberry muffins from the bakery. they are delicious! its a busy store so I often go early to get the fresh baked goods. great service, great products, and its always clean. the employees are super friendly and i even think its a family run business. really happy to have a 7eleven in san juan Capistrano. read more

Filled up my tank last week and my newer car started stalling out before I got to the next intersection..had to keep my foot on the brake and gas pedals at the same time. Had to buy $50 worth of fuel cleaner/purifier to get my car to run close to normal..your gas sucks. read more

My review is a 'less than zero'. The worst gas station/convenience store !!!!!!!!!! I went in to get gas and drinks/water on Tuesday morning. The trash cans were overflowing with trash, the water containers for windshield washing were ALL dry and had been dried up for days, inside the store, the one bathroom looked like a zoo cage, diahrrea was splattered on the wall and the toilet, a toilet plunger was lying on the floor, and the employees were standing behind the cash register talking about what they did the night before.
