    Well kept indoor area

This Starbucks is hidden but I am so glad I found it because it's so clean and well kept! The gentleman I think his name is Steve..helping my family and me at the counter was so polite and sweet! I stopped getting the pumpkin creams because I've seen many Starbucks not thoroughly clean their froth machines.. but this Starbucks let me tell you.. properly clean every single item they use which I really appreciate being a person allergic to any nut! You can't go wrong with the pumpkin cold brew because I definitely missed it! I'm so happy we stopped at this location! Plenty of seats in this locations and they keep it nice and cool.. good selection of music as well.

Everyone I've come to this location they short my orders. Today I picked up a few drinks and wasn't surprised to see another shortage. Paying for a venti but getting a grande size is disappointing so I'd suggest any mobile orders made be checked before you go.

Full disclosure, I am a Starbucks fiend and have gone to all the Starbucks around...really, all of them. A friend had me out looking for a special one-of-a-kind cup during Christmas shopping one year so I've been to them all. I love the drive-through one on Marguerite by Avery because I really want to wait a little in line, check my email, vegetate on my phone, and have a tiny bit of downtime between home and work. (I live 3 blocks from work, I really have to manufacture drive-time at this point.) But, I digress. This Starbucks is my Hubby's go-to Starbucks. They are seriously the best crew of any Starbucks around(including my regular one, sorry guys.) Nate and his crew are the absolute best at customer service. They know me, but especially my hubby, by name. I found this out when I walked in one day and they typed in my entire order before I opened my mouth or even realized that they knew me. I was blown away. Sneaky and cool, that's what that was...uh huh. They put up fun stockings at Christmas, they wear funny hats, they are a real team and they have fun. All of that leads to exceptional service with a smile. Do yourself a favor and go say hello.

Two or three times a week I'll visit a Starbucks, yet the iced coffee with a shot of espresso that I have had here beats all others hands down. Here it is always stronger and bolder than anyplace I've ordered. Maddie was my barista, thanks for an exceptional beverage every time I've visited this week! Also, your "Pink Drink" is delicious too and your egg whites with roasted peppers are a healthy low carb way to start the day! This place is PACKED in the mornings... the result of a good product and great service.

After having a good time with the family at Doheny State Beach. We decided to stop by and get Starbucks before we get on the road home to Menifee. Looked it up and came across this location which is conveniently off of Highway 74. Parking gets pretty packed but they had free valet when I came by. Not sure what the valet was for but I sure didn't need it to just get myself some coffee. The Starbucks logo is positioned along some stair that go up and around the 2 story building. Not sure how I completely missed the entrance at the bottom but I walked up the stairs looking for Starbucks like a fool. Went back downstairs and finally found it. Service is great and of course the drinks were made exactly how I ordered.

Be pissed at myself and embarrassed that I lived less than a mile from this place for 3 1/2 years and had no clue it was there and how good / cool the place and owner (Tim) is. Or 2. Just be super grateful that I finally learned about it and have gone there twice in the last four days. There are options all over the place to get coffee and a bite to eat, but there aren't places like this with culinary elevation in the flavors of the food and next level ingredients and taste in the coffee creations. The vibe is right as the music has been rad. Order ahead if you're in a crazy hurry. Otherwise well, order be a little patient because incredible things are never instantaneous.. They have Hawaiian-inspired food along with breakfast sandwiches and other options. The atmosphere is what really sets it apart. Tim plays vinyl records, there's Bob Ross and Snoopy memorabilia around the shop, and there's a mix of couches and dining tables. It's eclectic, comfortable, and very homey--not your typical coffee shop. While I was waiting for my coffee, Tim actually said to me, "Make yourself at home." And that really sums up the whole place. Great coffee, great food, great music, and a place where you actually want to hang out for a while. Definitely worth a visit.

We ordered the Boston Cream, Boysenberry, Cinnamon Crumble, Buttermilk Old Fashioned, and Blueberry Lemon. The Boston Cream was one of my favorites. The yeasted dough was delicious, almost like a brioche dough, though I am not sure if that is actually what they use. It was soft, rich, and had a great texture. The cream filling itself was a little underwhelming, but I would still get this one again. The Boysenberry was also really good. It had that nice cakey texture without being overly dry or crumbly. The Cinnamon Crumble looked amazing, but the texture was surprisingly "bouncy." I could not quite figure it out. It almost tasted like a cross between a cake donut and a yeasted donut. Nothing was necessarily wrong with it, but that texture was not my favorite. The Buttermilk Old Fashioned was probably the most dependable of the bunch. It had a nicely balanced hint of nutmeg that made it taste nostalgic and familiar. Sometimes you just want a classic donut that delivers exactly what you expect, and this one did. The Blueberry Lemon was a little bland this time. We have ordered it before, and both of us felt that the texture of their cake donuts seemed different from what we remembered. Still a good donut shop with some excellent choices, but this visit did not quite reach the level we remembered from previous visits. A 4/5 for us this time.

It is located in the beautiful historic town of San Juan Capistrano founded in 1776. The two-story red brick and wood building that the Restaurant occupy was constructed in 1883 and served not only as the town's courthouse which was Then presided by Judge Richard Egan. But it also served as Judge Egan's private residence on the second floor. Following years of vacancy, this building has undergone near total interior and exterior restoration, preserving its 1880s structure while converting it for commercial use. It is known as "Egan House". Years ago, prior to its restoration, i had the privilege of walking onto the front porch and peeking through the windows of this old courthouse as it was still vacant and, in its original interior state. Today. As i walked up these wooden stairs once again and onto the front Porch, i was immediately transported back in time. There is lots of free parking around the restaurant. The exterior has 2 outdoor dining areas. One on the side of the building and one along the narrow front porch baluster. The doors and tall windows look very similar. So i almost missed the front door if it wasn't for a printed sign that said "Entrance" next to the entry door. I must not be the only one :) The interior is charming and bright, and maintains its 19th century vintage character blended with modern and vintage decor. The walls are covered with Historical photographs. The indoor dining area is known as "Harmony Hall" There is also a small private dining area on the second floor. Great for a group or a celebration. There are 3 separate restrooms. 1 on the first floor and 2 on the 2nd floor. Not bad for an old building. You order first. Grab your number and find a table. As you stand in line, you'll find a free standing menu rack. I don't see this too often and i think that it's a great idea as that gives you time to look at the menu while waiting in line. As you make your way to the register, you walk along their display case that showcases all the pastries, cold sandwiches and food bar. I really like their menu. So many good dishes. And It offers something for everyone. I love that you can order any of the menu items all day. So, today, I had my breakfast at 2pm :) The menu is too long to describe. So, Please see photos for the complete 6 page menu. I ordered the Spanish Omelette, a peach ice tea with green tea. And for dessert i had a mixed berry crostata. I got my food in less than 10 min. The service was great. I did not realize that there was a self serve utensil and condiments station. So, my server was kind to get me some utensil and showed me where the utensil station was. The Spanish omelette has shredded machaca beef, peppers and onions. Topped with House Salsa, Cotija cheese, Crema and cilantro. I opted to leave out the Crema as i am not a big fan of sour cream. This was one of the best omelettes i have ever had. It was warm. The eggs were light and airy. It was packed with tender and tasty shredded beef. All of these ingredients combined with the delicious mild salsa, fresh cilantro and Cotija cheese paired incredibly well. It is a must have. The Mixed berry crostata had a soft crust on the outside. Moist on the inside with tons of berries partly melted into a marmelade. (I had them warm it up) It was not overly sweet at all which was great. The whole thing was lightly coated with powdered sugar. It was excellent. As for the Peach ice tea. Well it was just a good peach ice tea with green tea and light peach flavored syrup. It was refreshing. Great food. Generous portions. very reasonable prices and great service. Can't beat it. I highly recommend trying Ellie's Table.

Had such a great brunch experience at Ramos House Cafe in San Juan Capistrano!…read more We went for their weekend brunch, which is a set menu where you choose a small plate and a large plate. The restaurant is located right on Los Rios Street, the historic street in San Juan Capistrano, so you're right in the heart of the cutest part of town. The space is really charming -- it's outdoors but covered, with lots of plants and rustic details that make it feel cozy and unique. Our server was also so sweet and helpful throughout the meal. And the food was really good. For my small plate, I got the fava bean treat, which was kind of like a little salad with bread and a fava bean spread on the side. I didn't really taste the black truffle part. The large plate was the roasted vegetable hash, and this was definitely my favorite. It was seasoned so well and had so many different grilled vegetables packed into it. The fried poached egg was also fantastic! The only part I'd probably skip next time is the tomato foam, but that's mostly because I'm not a huge fan of foams in general. The brunch is $49 per person, so it's definitely more of a splurge, but you do get a good amount of food and I thought the quality was really impressive. There's decent parking nearby, or you can try to find street parking around town and walk over, although weekends can make that a little challenging. Overall, such a cute space, great service, and really delicious food. It's a fun spot for a special brunch, especially if you want to spend some time walking around Los Rios Street afterward!

A Wonderful Birthday Treat !…read more My good friend Lisa treated me to an afternoon at the Tea House on Los Rios in San Juan Capistrano, and it was such a beautiful and memorable day. From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. The tea house is absolutely charming, both inside and outside, and even the restrooms are beautifully decorated. You can tell that a lot of thought and care has gone into creating such a special atmosphere. The afternoon tea was lovely. The food was delicious, and the tea was wonderful as always. The entire experience was relaxing and enjoyable. But what really made the day extra special was the service. Our server, Shanna, was absolutely AMAZING! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Her attention and kindness made such a difference, and I truly appreciate everything she did for us. One of the hosts at the front, Tyler, was wonderful as well. She looked and sounded so much like Miley Cyrus, and she even sang "Happy Birthday" to me! It was such a sweet surprise and one of those little moments I'll remember. I honestly wish I had videotaped it. A special thank-you to my girlfriend for giving me such a wonderful birthday day. And thank you to the entire staff for providing such excellent service, especially despite the three-digit weather outside. You all still made the day feel cool, comfortable, and special. We also made the trip to the tea house part of the adventure by taking the Metrolink. My girlfriend boarded from LA Union Station & I boarded at the Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs station. We exited the train in San Juan Capistrano. You can continue on to San Clemente and Oceanside which is the last stop. The all-day pass made it especially convenient because we could sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride without worrying about traffic or parking. The all-day pass was $10, with a $5 fare for seniors and people with disabilities. Fares are increasing on October 5th. You can't beat the all day pass on the weekends & holidays. If you're looking for a lovely day out, I definitely recommend making a trip to the Tea House in San Juan Capistrano. The setting is beautiful, the food and tea are wonderful, and the staff truly make the experience special. Thank you to everyone at the Tea House for helping make my birthday such a wonderful day!

We ordered the fall special tea service and it was one of the worst food experiences I've had when it comes to tea. The finger sandwiches were uninspired and most were just, not good. For the price, the garden tea had a standard but far more tasty selection than the seasonal fall mix. I absolutely regret the fall tea service.
