came early on a saturday morning i'd say a bit before 11:00. there wasn't much of a line just two cars in front. the wait took forever for two items. i'd say around 15 minutes. i had mentioned grande when ordering but received a tall but after all that waiting i did not want to go back in. lady at the window i think was in training but did not have much to say just gave the total. i'd probably go to a different starbucks.

Old fruit

Talk to the lady about this protein box she said it is still good. Asked her to replace it and she said the date is still good on box

Friendly and accommodating staff, always clean and just really great service overall. Starbucks is Starbucks right? So the above reasons makes THE difference...

An update is in order! We had THE FRIENDLIEST barista on the face of the planet here; she warmed up our paninis and served them on plates with cutlery. The barista who made our drinks did a great job, too. IIRC, seating has changed since I was last here and is now better and slightly cozier. Woohoo! If you sit outdoors, you still get to watch planes and trains in all their glory. I'm always really happy to give 5 stars - it [unfortunately] happens rarely, so when it does, my day is made. Thanks, super sweet baristas. You rock! ______________________________ ORIGINAL REVIEW: 9/30/2014 Cute little Starbucks. Knocked a star for lack of seating and another for the loud a** trains that roll through frequently - makes for a fun conversation, haha. Other than that, it's Starbucks as usual. Added back a star, because one of the baristas drew a sweet duck on my cup. Made my night! :)

True Story: August 5th- My second time here at Haraz (first…read morewas on opening day with two Arab friends and we had a pretty decent if expensive Turkish coffee) and still the corner "Middle Eastern coffee lounge" looks inviting as I walk in at 8pm on a Wednesday night with a friend. Spacious and well lit and clean - but then I encounter bored untrained staff who apparently have no clue what they are offering - and worse - seem indifferent to their lack of knowledge of their menu offerings - it's not their fault they don't speak Arabic or Farsi - but the ignorance as to what is in the pastry showcase or details of their drink menu is just staggering: I ask whether any of their desserts contain nuts because my friend has a fatal allergy...answer: "not really sure but not to my knowledge" (I'm afraid that just isn't good enough for this doctor). I then ask innocently whether they have any decaffeinated tea - the chap behind the counter says with confidence "Black tea doesn't have any caffeine" I was surprised enough to question my own knowledge- and my companion, who is a medical nutritionist seemed stunned and gave up as well. She said "black tea contains about 50mg per cup - which is around half that of coffee", but he didn't take the bait and stated with that confidence that only pure ignorant bliss can impart : "No, black tea has no caffeine - it's tea...not coffee." (Suggestion to the owners here: you may want to educate your staff and quick) Then I ask patiently for the list of ingredients of the various pretty looking unlabeled and mysterious sweets selection behind the glass cabinet.... Again no understanding of what I'm asking about. "No we aren't told what's inside each and we get our pastries from small suppliers but I think there are no nuts - I don't see any nuts - and they don't tell us what's inside" ... meanwhile I see pistachios scattered all over at least two desserts in the case - and I'm only asking for a rudimentary description of ingredients- and about what's inside each item - surely not too much to ask or expect (am I being difficult here?) To the owners: this customer thought you made all your desserts in-house but your staff happily tell us customers the truth - but either way..... Surely you'd want to know what you are offering your customers ? - I mean, some of the pastries look pretty tasty, but without knowing what's inside.... I give up. Then there is the price : $16.00 for a coffee and a tea. Okay... I tell myself I am trying this place a second time and I've been told good things by friends since here last (cardamom and cinnamon spiced hot drinks! ) So when I am served my tea and coffee at the table, I ask innocently for a napkin, and the waiter (Mr "Caffeine-Free tea") nods towards the other side of the cafe and says "napkins are over there" and walks off. I guess he expects me to get up and walk over to get myself a napkin (which one would have expected he'd have brought in the first place with the drinks) - and so reluctantly I've decided this is just not the place for me to relax - And at this point I just give up ... and give in to a tasty coffee - it was pretty good - and decide sadly never to return - even if invited.

There's definitely something for everyone. We ordered a few of their mini pastries and a tiramisu. The mini pastries were delicious and made for the perfect little treats. Unfortunately, the tiramisu was a bit of a miss for me. I love a good tiramisu, but I felt like it was missing that rich espresso flavor I was hoping for. That said, it definitely didn't deter me from coming back! I didn't get a chance to try the gelato this time, but there were several flavors I had my eye on. I'll definitely be back to give them a try. Overall, such a cute bakery with a great variety of treats!

I had a small window to pick up the product (between 3pm and 4pm), so I was guessing I would get what didn't sell that day. I was pleasantly surprised what I received. I got a mini cream puff, eclair, cannoli, spinach croissant, and a few other products. All were very good. In addition, the young lady let me taste some gelato. They have around 12 different flavors. I tried the mint one. Outstanding. I will buy that one next time I visit. The place is fairly small and I can't speak for the selection at the beginning of the day, but what she packed was a great sample of what they offer.

I was kind of surprised to see this place listed separately on Yelp as it is actually the cafe…read moreinside of Lifetime Fitness -- but hey, I'm not going to complain. My husband and I don't really plan on eating here because we just come to use the machines, take a few classes, and sit in the hot tub (which is pretty amazing); however, we decided to give it a shot just to say we've eaten there. Life Cafe's philosophy is to provide clean, healthy food to the people using the facilities. That means no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial ingredients, organic and gluten-free options, and so forth. To my surprise, they actually do a good job of sticking with this philosophy and creating a yummy menu. They also make a variety of smoothies with fruits, juices, yogurt, and milk (almond milk available for $.50 more). Whey protein is added to nearly all smoothies but you can request VeganMax protein instead, which is Lifetime's vegan protein supplement. SWEET. (I hate whey.) My husband ordered the savory roast beef sandwich and I had a wild-caught grilled salmon salad with a smoothie. The food is made fresh behind the counter so there is a slight wait. However, you're able to sit at the table and hang out until they bring the food to you (you're given a number sign when you order). My husband's sandwich seemed kind of small; yet, my salad was huge. They were both REALLY GOOD -- much better than we had expected from a place inside a fitness center. My strawberry/banana/orange juice smoothie was good although I could taste the protein powder with every sip. I got used to it. I wish they had more veggie smoothies. The cafe has a good amount of tables, large windows, and shelves of products for sale. I pretty much ignore the walls of products, but the snack bars are cool. So what's the catch? Why the four stars? The food is EXPENSIVE! Kyle's sandwich and my salad were nearly $9 each. I realize that the quality is amazing (and heck, Lifetime's membership isn't cheap) but I just can't afford to pour more money into this place. I'm still glad we tried it!
