This was my first visit to this particular Starbucks and I was pleasantly surprised. It's small in size compared to other Starbucks and the decor similar to most others as well but the staff was great. They were very friendly and made a great frappachino. My girlfriends passion fruit iced tea was spot on too, great service and great quality products. A note, the parking lot is a little on the smaller side and on the way out I saw a car or two waiting for a spot so keep this in mind as they also do not have a drive through. I will be making many more trips to this local Starbucks when I'm in the area. read more

Saw me standing waiting to order, didn't acknowledge me, another person walk in and immediately got serve waited two more minutes to get serve and she still ignored me. Poor customer service and as I walk away she returned to help the other customer behind me. Felt like it was a racist decision as I was not white enough to get serve. This place never fails to mess my day up. I work across the street so that's the only reason i keep coming back but i can tell u many stories on how bad the customer service is. Today i got to town early and was excited to get my coffee ( i forgot i was going to plainview starbucks ) and the lady must of made 20 coffees before i had to go to the register and ask for a refund. I can go on and on but this is normal for them i know it doesn't sound like a big deal but i was 20 mins late to work!!! bc she insisted on making my coffee instead of giving me my refund!!! i guess i'll wake up earlier to go to the starbucks more far away!!!!!! mind u they're all mean one time couldn't give me a drink holder when i ordered a lot of drinks last time. never had this problem before at any other starbucks!!!! read more

Stopped here on a whim because I arrived WAY too early for an interview. Figured I'd stop in and grab some coffee before hand. When I arrived there was a line, but it moved quick even with the short staff and one of them being brand new. I tried the new strawberry infused green tea and it was delicious, I will totally get that again and I'm glad I tried something different than my usual Starbucks order. Something unique about this location is the physical space - it looks like a giant green house in the siting area and a nice natural light comes through. I really enjoyed that. Let's have more Starbucks that look like this maybe? I'll probably be back here next time I'm in the area. read more

Upside: Nice outdoor seating in the warm weather. Due to cramped INDOOR seating here--the local Pre-Med students plunk their asses at the Syosset Starbucks instead to use that location as a STUDY HALL taking up all the seats nightly (I really really wish they would just go to the LIBRARY for this) . Downside: Inside is very small & uncomfortable. Male employees have ATTITUDE. the FEMALE employees here are nice though. read more

Since a bunch of their old baristas left last year, this place has suffered. I watched a girl (her name was Harley) make two orders for green tea lemonade as hot tea with lemonade in it...seriously? I also waited almost 10!minutes for my mobile order while the barista who was working on it was busy literally juggling empty drink cups right in front of me. Everyone except the skinny kid with gauges needs to be re-trained. He was the only one working diligently and taking himself seriously at all whatsoever. read more

Really friendly staff here. I never feel like they are annoyed with my order. In fact, today, a little girl didn't like her order, so the mom asked if she could try something else. They were so accommodating and made her another drink without any attitude, which isn't always the case. Once, I ordered a drink at another location and the lady grabbed a plastic cup and began writing. I said "oh that's hot, not iced" and she threw the cup across and into the garbage and yelled like I just killed her puppy. Anyway, this place is always fast, accurate and the staff is great. Not coming back here staff (total of 3 that I dealt with) were extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable just because I ordered something as regular lemonade with raspberry syrup. No biggie but here it seemed I was ordering something crazy. Ordered light ice, twice. Drink came out packed with ice to the fullest. Asked nicely can u pls get some ice out, what seemed to be a disgruntled "manager" just rolled her eye balls, and poured more lemon juice in my drink saying "here, light ice" took my food and my drink went my way, never coming back... read more

Today, finally happy to enjoy summer weather, we sat outdoors. And though almost all of the tables were available, we couldn't find even one clean enough to sit at. I guess it was a very-very busy morning. We came at 12:30 in the afternoon. All of the tables were filthy. The ground littered with trash. And it's not like the store was busy. It would take a person 5 minutes to fix such situation. I am sad that our lovely town has such unwelcoming spot. Girl who took my drink order was so rude... she grabbed the money from my hand and walked away to start making my coffee without letting me finish my order. She walked away right as I was asking her to use soy milk. When she came back with the drink I asked her if there was soy milk inside and she said yes then cut me off to take the next persons order. I came to this starbucks for desert to get a java chip frappuchino tonight. Ive noticed at other locations the consistency and texture of that frappuchino will vary, so i fell out of love with it. Evanna completely turned that around when she made the most delicious Java Chip Frap ive ever had. The staff was very friendly and it seemed evanna was pretty new, that being said she's doing an absolutely awesome job and i would definitely recommend this starbucks location! I go out of my way after work to come to this Starbucks rather than the one closer to my house because I always receive my correct order and it always tastes exactly how it should! I also don't believe I've ever dealt with any rude staff, and by now I recognize most of them by face. The staff seems very knowledgeable and professional while still being personable and nice to interact with. I don't recommend coming to this location if you definitely want to sit inside, as the sitting area is a little cramped, and I have often been unsuccessful at finding anywhere to sit. But you can always take a nice walk along the strip while sipping your drink, if weather permits! read more

I usually don't post bad comments but this morning the barista was just rude. Honestly, who wants to be in a bad mood 6am in the morning? I've been coming here for a year Tuesday-Thursday at 5:50 am for the past year. Since the staff has changed this location is really stringy with their coffee. I know I asked for a grande iced coffee in a venti cup with a little extra ice but at least fill it to the grande line of the cup! From where I was standing it definitely looked like she filled it to the tall line then packed it with ice to the point I wouldn't even be able to fit a straw. I brought up the fact that I usually get a little more coffee than this and she rudely responded that she uses the lines on the cup. I get it but from what I saw it was to the tall line. More than the amount of coffee I received I was just disgusted with how she handled the matter. I work with patients and realize working with people are hard but being rude is not acceptable. It's a shame they lost their other staff. I guess I'll have to go out of my way to go to another location. read more

Wonderful staff, always polite and fast. The lines can feel overwhelming, but there is never a time I waited more than a few minutes. Truthfully, that was the customers fault for being unsure of what she wanted. The employee took it in stride and helped her out. Seating is limited, but it is a nice area with a green house feel. Never too hot in the summer and perfectly warm in the winter. The outdoor seating area is really nice as well. I want to mention one specific incident recently. After a small get together for my spouses birthday, my mother and I went to get a coffee. We happily accepted our coffee and sat down. During the course of conversation my mother spilled her coffee all over the floor, my friend and myself. It was perfect temperature BTW. Anyway, the young lady behind the counter immediately asked if WE were all okay. They were not concerned about the spillage and even requested we not use the paper towels to clean it up as that would be wasting them. Within seconds a young man cleaned it up with a mop. My mother ran off to the bathroom to hide in embarrassment. Here's the part that got me, without any questions they made another coffee. No questions asked. I wish I got her name, but she has no idea how the simple act of making my mother coffee made my mother smile. A smile that has been hidden due to a recent loss in our family. It just proves that you never know what another person is going through at any given time.... be nice - it might brighten someones day. read more

Terrible experience. I ordered a caramel crunch frap and paid. When I got the drink, I figured out there is no crunch topping and told the barrister it. He said he did not have the crunch topping since it was run out then. It was 9 am in the morning. Then, I went back to the cashier and asked why she had got my order. She beamed at me and said "sorry". Even if she told "sorry", she said to me "get out of here" with her full body language. Her attitude was really nasty and I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you want to be in a good mood, please avoid this place. They do not have any basic manner to serve. read more

Overall, I find that this Starbucks is an excellent location, as it is clean and well-kept and always has excellent service. I stopped in here this morning after doing a grocery shopping at the Shoprite in this shopping center, as my mom wanted a Venti Half-Caf Pike. When I entered this Starbucks, I found that the joint was jumping, as there were many people enjoying their drinks. Inside this location, which is a bit on the smallish side, I found that is was very clean and had a nice, bustling atmosphere. I also liked the seating area with almost what is like a bay window, which allows a lot of light inside. If I would have stayed, this makes an awesome place to sit and enjoy your coffee. In the warmer months, there is also outside seating available with a few tables. At the counter, I was assisted by a young male barista, who was very friendly and efficient, not unlike the other employees who have helped me here on past visits. I ordered a Venti Half-Caf Pike for $2.66, which is standard and it was made perfectly and quickly. My mom thought her Venti Half-Caf Pike was excellent, as she found it to be well balanced, robust, and made to perfection! Based on many positive experiences at this Starbucks, I would definitely stop here again! read more
