Started a new job in the area, and this Starbucks has already become my go-to. Ordered pick-up multiple times and every single time, my drinks have been on point. The staff? Friendly, patient, and always willing to help. Also, this location is big. Plenty of seats, tables, and space--so if you need a spot to work, chill, or pretend to work, it's perfect. Ok, no problem. The issue is that I waited 20 minutes to even have my drink made. Some chick, an employee comes in on her day off. Cuts the line and immediately has her drink made Not only is the chick out of line for that, she had the audacity to hold a conversation with the dude making the drinks. Slowing him down. At this point it took a lot for me to not say something After 20 minutes of waiting for an overpriced ice tea, I went to the counter and was immediately issued a refund. You know it's a problem when the refund come quicker than the drink ... yea fuck this establishment.. wasting people's time. It has become exasperating yet again at this location. Looking at the staff today was like seeing the island of misfit toys. Where did they find these guys??? There is an episode of Seinfeld where he and the gang were waiting to be seated at a Chinese restaurant. After waiting an eternity and hearing everyone else being called (even without a reservation), they gave up and left. As soon as they left, their name was called. Well that explains today's experience. First, ever single employee had sullen expressions on their faces. No one could muster a "good morning" or look up from what they were doing to acknowledge you standing there. When they did look up to utter a sound, they looked right through you. For what it's worth this is one of the Starbucks that we typically get coffee from and it seems as the baristas are programmed with our order usually. With that said... I finally ran for coffee the other day with my boss's AMEX. His treat for the suite. Only 5 of us got coffee and got 3 cookies. Almost $30 bucks. The barista who helped me was very efficient and just took our list, punched it into the register, wrote on our cups, and asked what kind of cookies would I like. In less than 10 minutes I was out and back in my car heading back to the office. The only thing that can KIND OF suck about this location is the parking. I know we're in Garden City folks. Hell we all know it's the Shopping & Lawyer Hub of Long Island! But whatever... I happily enjoyed my coffee while I worked. I'll be back when I need to get more coffee for my peeps!!! read more

The perfect blend of employees, customer service and a great product... The team in this store is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.... While I think the entire Starbucks Team is exceptional, I think this group just blends together perfectly. I mean, you're just buying coffee and a treat, how do they take that to a level of "I can't wait to go back tomorrow." O.K., enough Kudos... Lets talk coffee. I really enjoy the Pike Blend and only recently found out that it was their original coffee blend. Rich smooth and no bitterness at all. The are located in the Galleria Mall off Old Country Toad. The location is at a good spot. Near Nordstrom Rack, Banana Republic, Gap, Traders Joes,... The establishment is clean. This Starbucks has gotten better over time. It maybe hard to find a seat sometimes but once you can sit it becomes a pleasurable experience. It's a great place to study. It's a great place to get work done. The staff is very relaxed and they do their best to keep the place clean. It's conveniently next to a trader Joe's. The only downside to this location is the parking. When the area gets busy you may have to park 4-7 rows away before you find a spot. So imagine you spend 15 minutes finding a parking spot only to get inside and there are no seats. Other than the traffic there is no real downside. read more

Even though I don't go to Starbucks everyday, this is my go-to Starbucks as it is on my way to work. I go probably a handful of times a month. I typically get the same thing every time I'm there. I always recognize the baristas. They are so friendly and always smiling...even at 6am...when I'm typically there. Being that there's many baristas, and I'm not a frequent customer...I'm shocked that when I go in they know my order! They basically have it ready for me when they see me walking in the door. That's excellent customer service! Especially when there is a lot of foot traffic at this location. Very busy location in a stripmall complex. Ordered a single latte and waited. 30 min later I went to the register and got a refund. I'm fairly certain it was somehow forgotten (even though I scanned with the app) as I saw people who ordered multiple drinks behind me in line leave with their orders. I know it's busy, but that was way too long, then forgotten. Also I have noticed with several locations I frequent, if you don't Mobile order or go through a drive though- you are NOT a priority. This starbucks is filled with smiling employees so that is a feel-good plus, but it doesnt have enough seating- it gets filled up fast during a rush hour as there are many tables for two with only one person sitting at them. The wifi is fast here. Maybe the Starbucks being here is why the Trader Joe's next door doesn't sample out their coffee... ? This location is clean and have a clever bar to line up the people so the line must get long. This is one of the starbucks I frequent in my rotations of Java suppliers I like the store the staff attitude ranges from freindlyish to supper friendly I wouldn't say anyone's rude or anything they do mess up orders pretty regularly but they will always remake with out issue and a sorry, and in fairness they get slammed like a location in the city so I chalk up the mess ups here and there to not having the Manhattan conditioning There drinks are excellent though, there frozen drinks are best made at this location, I will drive the extra distance to get my blended drinks here It's a great spot for sitting and enjoying your drink read more

I placed an order through the app. When I arrived, there were sooooo many people in the store. From what I saw, the staff was working as quickly as they could to fulfill everyone's order. Usually when people have to wait longer than expected, there's always that one person to complain and trigger others to do the same, but that was not the case today. Instead there was one worker (whose name I did not get) walking around, thanking everyone for their patience and handing out baggies containing a mini sample of lemon cake as a thank you for being patient and understanding. His attitude was incredibly pleasant. He's a great asset to such a high volume location. He didn't have to do that but it was a nice way to acknowledge that people are waiting and remind us that they're doing their best to keep up with the demand. Speaking of staff....they are AMAZING!!!! The young gentleman who served me last night was super friendly. He had the warmest smile and very polite. You can tell he takes pride in his job there. Just when I thought my experience was great....it got even better. He prepared the BEST white chocolate mocha I EVER TASTED!! The hot cup of coffee was not too sweet and the perfect amount of foam. Situated in The Gallery at Westbury Plaza, this location is a welcome respite in between all the shopping that can get done on a typical visit. Staffed with some delightful baristas. Seating inside is ample and the area is well kept. No shortage of items on the menu to order from plus several treats in the case should you feel the urge to munch on something too. This Starbucks is Almost Perfect. I'm Developing a taste for Different & Exotic coffees. Having been to Starbucks previously, I am usually not disappointed. I used to go to the location in the Smith Haven Mall Way Way Back in the Day. Since then my appreciation of the Starbucks brand has grown and I've visited many different venues since. Today's MLK Holiday changed my schedule & afforded me the time to stop in to my FAVORITE Starbucks in the area! I was pleased to see that the Starbucks was open on The Holiday, inside the workers were very Very welcoming and informative. I asked what the Duke usually gets and my Batista, Jeselle responded. Bill usually gets the Hawaiian ,but we're out of that right now.(I've had the Hawaiian before it's incredible) However the Ethiopian coffee is strong flavorful and has a remarkable aroma. And I can make it on the Clover machine, Clover? I'm sold! I'll take a Venti.( which means 20 in several different languages). I Guess for the 20 oz cup I looked around to find this usually crowded Starbucks with just the few early-morning patrons. It decided against a scone or pastry, as I just needed the Java Jolt! Wow the coffee was Rich and flavorful the aroma enveloped me in a coffee Haze of of delight I could taste the rich, Delicious oils of this exotic blend that the Clover Machine released to My Hot morning Brew Bill and Frankie were Not Here Today, holding their Court given the Holiday. Ummm probably one of the worst locations ... simply because it's usually busy , but the staff has no sense of urgency around Anything ! There are times when there are 4 to 5 people behind the counter with their backs turned .. a growing line ..and one cashier ... sometimes those people are working on things most times they aren't . I place a mobile order about 10 mins before my arrival to find an empty store , four associates and just my label on An empty cup .After 5 more minutes i finally got my coffee . 15-20 mins for a mobile pick up order at 6 am ?? Make it make sense ! Speaking of time ... the operating hrs on the app are not how they are currently operating... i noticed mobile was turned off , and when i arrived today the store was still closed with a sign that says opening at 615 ... it was 618 but i digress ..the supervisor inside saw me but kept about his business... assuming that maybe he had associates call out or not show and he was alone .. i stepped to the side .. under a cove because it was raining . 3 more customers arrived and because they were still closed ,left ( i work in the complex)... it's now 630 .. i peeked over and saw that they were still closed but he was not alone ! 10 mins later 640 ,a second associate arrives . Now here is the issue ... you know I'm standing out side ... and it's raining .. you should be open at 5am , it's now approaching 645 ... wouldn't you as a supervisor at least peek out and say ... Something...Anything.. to someone who is now waiting 30 mins in the rain and cold weather ??? Like hey sorry for the wait , we had an issue with xyz... or this is the time we are actually ready to open and take the sign down .. which was still up btw when i finally walked away ...they had anew Mgr and while a bit overbearing had the store and staff in check ... haven't seen her in a few and it's shows in how uninterested this staff actually is with basic service .
