Have been here 2x so far and was pretty happy with the experience both times. First time, didn't know what to order and asked the staff for his rec - iced caramel macchiato and it was solid. Second time ordered the choco banana crepe and passion fruit lemonade. The crepe was delish. Wifey loved it as it was the perfect amount. The lemonade tasted more lemonade than passion fruit. So I might skip that next time. Oh the crepe comes with a scoop of ice cream as well! Both times service was friendly, patient, and pretty quick. The place is fairly clean. There's extra seating but you have to exit and then go into another room right next door. Parking is tough but there's a lot in the back. The staff is seriously so sweet I love asking them for recommendations because they actually take the time to suggest something thoughtful. Stopped by NY Caffeine in Franklin Square and ordered a small brown sugar shaken espresso $7. The coffee itself wasn't bad, but it didn't wow me either. For the price, I expected more than just "okay." The service was good. The girls were very nice. Overall I can get the same drink elsewhere (better size, same or even lower price) without feeling like I overpaid. The value just isn't there for me, so I probably wouldn't come back. My caffeine is located in Franklin Square NY, it's a small chain and a great alternative for a quiet place to have a cup of joe. It looks like a trailer as you drive up but it is fully functional. Inside looks like an Internet cafe but it has a lot to offer. Looking around you can see that they offer a separate dining or drinking area for several patrons to sit and relax. On the inside there are limited comfortable seating and an area to utilize the internet. The staff are very attentive and thorough. They give you a pleasant salutation as you enter and bid you adieu as you leave. They exercise a high standard in customer interaction ensuring you have what you need whether it's one drink or other items to complete your visit. This is a casual setting however professional do stop by for a cup of Joe. They're offering tea, lattes, and chai as well. They also offer Haagen-Dazs ice cream, brownies , (treats) and breakfast items. My tip is that they offer cold drinks that come in a special container. Today I stopped in for a large hot chai with oat milk. It had a very mild taste, not too strong in taste and it was very fresh with a pleasant temperature. I took home treats as well, a crownie ( cookie brownie) and a brownie with pistachio and Nutella, and Ice cream. I am not a fan for sweets so I took half and shared the other half. I want to love this place so bad. The coolest coffee containers of any store I've ever been in... and the coffee is delicious. One note is one or two of the menu items are displayed incorrectly. They are also clearly using AI to draw up their menus and photos, which is disappointing. The food and drink overpower the visual nitpicking. read more

I'm obsessed with NY Caffeine and Grill at 1540 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590! They're also opened from 6am-Midnight...I stopped by today and picked up a cookie dough croissant that was TO DIE FOR. Flaky, buttery croissant pastry filled with gooey cookie dough... need I say more? But the real star of the show was their large cold brew with almond milk and pistachio cold foam. The cold brew was rich and smooth, and the pistachio cold foam added a delightful nutty flavor. The almond milk gave it a nice creaminess without overpowering the coffee. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I love that they served the iced coffee in a pop top can! It is so convenient when packing a cooler for the beach. They had a unique flavor choice (which is my new favorite) Lavender Iced Coffee. I get it with Almond milk and you don't need to add any sugar because it is so flavorful. read more

I had a big order of over $50 to sample a variety of things which were ok, but what really pissed me off was the cashier owed me like .75¢ in change, but just decided to just keep it as a tip! I literally stood there waiting for my change for several minutes as no other customers were in the store & they just walked away & never came back. I was going to call them out on it, but figured if they needed it that badly to steal it from me they can have it. I would have tipped them a couple of bucks anyway after they handed my order over, but since they pulled this stunt I chose to not give them anything more. They definitely lost a customer for life. We walked in to about 15 people inside, all under the age of 18 (most under the age of 15). Kids were restless and we needed a place to sit, which wasn't happening with the small location and all the peeps... Did I love my shaken brown sugar espresso? Absolutely! Did my cousin love her cold coffee drink? (She went in planning on buying a hot drink.) Yes! She did it because she loved the container. (Tell me packaging doesn't affect marketing...) Another random stop for a latte and I was not disappointed. Kyle put together the flavors I wanted and made a really yummy drink. The staff are nice and café esthetic is really nice too. They offer some breakfast food and pastries along with a variety of coffe options. They even have ice cream. The container was so cute. Not sure if it comes in other sizes (didn't ask) but a bigger one next go round would be good. You can sit inside one a nice enclosed patio. They have off street parking too.
