While the food was being prepared I learned that Vida Coffee Shop is family owned and operated, 1 coffee shop, 1 year in business, and a Long Island Choice Award. Congratulations!! I've had ham and cheese croissants with Swiss cheese before but this was way different. The ham and cheese croissant had cheddar cheese, very delicious with a hint of cheddar, not drowning the ham flavor and flattened by a Panini press. The bagel was very fresh, and the coffee was nicely tempered. No scorching of the tongue! One piece of advice: with this extreme cold, dine in. He even frothed the creamer for my hot coffee. I received my coffee, walked over to the small seating area available and noticed their wide selection of coffee beans just waiting to be grinded. The staff member noticed almost immediately and asked if I needed any help.
