Iced caramel Latte
Destiny C.

I love that they stay open late for a great late night coffee option. I ordered the brown sugar shaken espresso and a caramel iced latte. The caramel iced latte was a letdown as it didn't taste like caramel at all, just milk. The shaken espresso was good, I would order that again. They have a big parking lot and an outdoor (enclosed) area that has seats and is a cozy spot. Inside, they have a few tables, but it is tight in there.

sad avocado toast, with half a cold egg that cost $2 extra

Tried NY Caffeine after seeing it all over socials, but honestly, it was a big letdown. We were initially excited because the pastry display looked promising -- tons of options ranging from Western classics like cheesecake and muffins, to twists like a Dubai chocolate croissant and chocolate baklava, to traditional Middle Eastern desserts like kataif and regular baklava. But then came the actual food... My sister ordered the avocado toast and we genuinely laughed when it arrived. It was served on thin, cheap grocery store white bread, with a barely-there green paste and half of a cold, pre-made egg on top -- and they charged $2 extra for that sad egg. She returned it and asked for a refund. She then tried to order an egg and cheese on a croissant, but they were out of eggs. Not a great start. We also tried the honeycomb, which was super dry and crumbly -- not soft or fluffy like it should be. I literally had to sip my drink just to help swallow it. Then came the cookie-brownie-croissant combo, which sounded amazing but was practically inedible. It was dry, overly sweet (like box mix sweet), and the croissant base was either raw or overbaked -- so hard that my fork broke trying to cut it. We returned that too. Even the drink didn't hit. We ordered a large, but it came only ¾ full. It was watery and a little too strong, so I politely asked if they could just add more milk -- the barista said they couldn't because of how the cans work (??), but she ended up remaking it from scratch. Honestly, we left super disappointed. Everything looks great online, but the actual taste, quality, and customer service don't match the hype. If you want good drinks, Middle Eastern desserts, and reliable service -- just go to Qahwah House instead.

To start, they "brownies" are not actual brownies. They are individual slices of cake. I didn't notice this 2 years ago but having it again last night, the Cadbury brownie tastes like a layered sheet cake made from box mix. The frosting on top wasn't too sweet, but certainly doesn't carry the richness of Cadbury chocolate. In a slice this simple, there's really no place to hide and paying that much for something that taste like it was battered out a box is not worth it in my opinion. The Dubai chocolate slice tasted better, but tbh, the Dubai chocolate cake from Costco not only tastes better but has a better price point! I was really excited to try their ice cream - I loved their flavor choices, but that's where my fondness pretty much stopped. The pints were pricey and taste super home made (not in a good way). The ice cream was hard and while it tasted like sweet cream, it was definitely not churned enough to carry a smooth texture. They pints were Van Leeuwen prices but the taste and texture was far from quality ice cream. In this case, I much rather pick up a pint of Hagen Daz, again much better price point and better quantity. The store is pretty but I won't be returning.

From the moment you walk in, the vibe is so cozy and inviting. It has floral decor, friendly staff, and that perfect late-night dessert escape feel. I went with a group and we ordered way too much (worth it). We got dubai chocolate, stracciatella, ube, and biscoff flavored gelatos. They were each light and fluffy and sweet. We also got a pistachio bubble waffle. That one stole the show! crispy on the outside, soft inside, piled high with gelato, fresh fruit, pistachio, and whipped cream. Absolute perfection. They also have delicious looking brownies and cookies that come in all the same flavors listed above. I will definitely be trying those next time. Service was super warm and quick even when it got busy, and the place stays open late which is a lifesaver for night owls craving something indulgent. Prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes ($$ is right)

The prices are super reasonable, i got 12 cookies for ~$13 and each one was really good. They came warm, with a slightly crunchy exterior and a soft inside. My favorites were the double chocolate chip cookie and the regular chocolate chip, but my friend really liked the snickerdoodle. I also got the iced latte for $6, which is a really good price for Nassau County! The inside was also such a vibe i loved the yellow chairs and the vibrant interior - there was so much seating. It was also so interesting seeing how they make the cookies. I will definitely come again I am absolutely obsessed!!!

Ambience - feels like a utilitarian kitchen or company lunch room. The kitchen is clearly visible in the open layout and you can watch the staff making the cookie dough. Food: we ordered the 6 cookie box. I asked for Peanut Butter, but they ran out. I settled for chocolate chip and Kit Kat. The cookies were all thin, leading me to think it would be brittle like a cracker. I was pleasantly surprised that they were so soft and chewy. Must be the butter! TL/DR: thin cookies creates small portion cookies that don't make you feel guilty when you eat more than one.
