It was my first time visiting this shop, and the coffee was great! I ordered an iced caramel macchiato with almond milk. It was a bit sweeter than I normally prefer, so next time I'll just ask for less caramel--purely a personal preference. I also picked up two mini donut croissants for $2.50 each to give to my kids. I really enjoyed the coffee and will definitely be back for more. The service was excellent; the gentleman behind the counter explained the menu to me, and I was very happy with his help. I love that they stay open late for a great late night coffee option. I ordered the brown sugar shaken espresso and a caramel iced latte. The caramel iced latte was a letdown as it didn't taste like caramel at all, just milk. The shaken espresso was good, I would order that again. They have a big parking lot and an outdoor (enclosed) area that has seats and is a cozy spot. Inside, they have a few tables, but it is tight in there. read more

Tried NY Caffeine after seeing it all over socials, but honestly, it was a big letdown. We were initially excited because the pastry display looked promising -- tons of options ranging from Western classics like cheesecake and muffins, to twists like a Dubai chocolate croissant and chocolate baklava, to traditional Middle Eastern desserts like kataif and regular baklava. But then came the actual food... My sister ordered the avocado toast and we genuinely laughed when it arrived. It was served on thin, cheap grocery store white bread, with a barely-there green paste and half of a cold, pre-made egg on top -- and they charged $2 extra for that sad egg. She returned it and asked for a refund. She then tried to order an egg and cheese on a croissant, but they were out of eggs. Not a great start. We also tried the honeycomb, which was super dry and crumbly -- not soft or fluffy like it should be. I literally had to sip my drink just to help swallow it. Then came the cookie-brownie-croissant combo, which sounded amazing but was practically inedible. It was dry, overly sweet (like box mix sweet), and the croissant base was either raw or overbaked -- so hard that my fork broke trying to cut it. We returned that too. Even the drink didn't hit. We ordered a large, but it came only ¾ full. It was watery and a little too strong, so I politely asked if they could just add more milk -- the barista said they couldn't because of how the cans work (??), but she ended up remaking it from scratch. Honestly, we left super disappointed. Everything looks great online, but the actual taste, quality, and customer service don't match the hype. If you want good drinks, Middle Eastern desserts, and reliable service -- just go to Qahwah House instead. read more

I would've given 4 or 5 stars if their iced coffee tasted better and cheaper. I've been to the other location and the iced coffee also tastes like they took the leftover hot coffee from previous nights&just put it in the refrigerator to make it cold. It's probably expensive b/c of the nice soda can container they put the drink in. What I found nice about this place was the nice ambience and the Dubai brownie. The Dubai brownie was dangerously delicious! There didn't seem to have free wi-fi. So if you want to sit, have a conversation w/someone, listen to good music&have dessert, give it a try. read more

We went because the desserts looked amazing. Well what a disappointment, they were all inedible. They are not fresh and obviously very old and stale. I tried cutting it with a knife and could not even break through it as it was as hard as a brick. Not to mention the staff is unfriendly and very rude. For the prices they charge they need to update their selection daily with fresh products. I wouldn't recommend going and wasting your time and money. read more

I stopped in the other night for a coffee and Danish, the bill came out to 9.37, I gave her a 20.00 bill, she handed me back a 10.00 bill, smiled and said thank you. When I asked for my 63 cents, she replied we don't have any, with that the manager came over and stated she hasn't been able to get to the bank for a while to get change! Unbelievable right? I guess not so much in today's day and age. So in my immediate frustration, i just walked out with my coffee, plus 7.5% VIG' instead of asking for my 10.00 back and explaining that i've been in business my whole life and the proper thing to do is if i had no change, is to give a dollar back to the customer as it was not him who was not prepared. HELL to the NO!!!!! I heard good things from Dine LI so decided to try. But hey, I need to keep in mind that the group is all about positivity... Ugh hence this was a mistake!!!!! They get one star because of a rude barista!!!!!!! Their customer service SUCKS! When I walked up to the counter, there were 2 clerks yet no hello!! and I asked some questions but they seemed so annoyed and weren't really helpful. I was like wtf? I should have walked out but I really needed coffee. Not for nothing, I, the customer pays your salary! I am sorry but I am huge on great, or just good customer service!! Coffee wasn't bad but overpriced for a soda can sized iced latte. It was not worth the price but again, if they were friendly and all, I would go back, even a few times a week because I drink coffee like water and I work in the walking distance!!
