I still cannot believe their last day is this Saturday. I have been coming here for quite a while, and they serve the best lattes and boba I have ever had. The location has always been so convenient for me, as it's right on my way to both home and work. The mother and daughter who run the shop provide the best service ever; they make me feel so welcome and at home every time I order. I am actually getting teary-eyed thinking about their last day. If you haven't tried them yet, you only have two more days! My favorite drink will always be the Horchata Latte with a double shot, extra cinnamon, and almond milk. Café BUBBLY has become part of my routine. It is always my first stop before I even think about shopping. I grab my bubble tea, get my caffeine boost, and suddenly I have the energy to tackle the entire store with a tasty treat in hand. If they ever left, I truly don't know what I would do. I would probably take my grocery shopping somewhere else because they are that important to the experience. The supermarket is incredibly lucky to have them. Finally got to try this bubbly tea shop inside the Asian A Mart. I had gone before on a Wednesday , but they are closed on Wednesdays. Staff are friendly and bubble tea was tasty. I asked for 25% sugar, and it still was sweet enough. I asked for less ice but they gave me have a glass of ice, so that was a little annoying. My bobas were a little hard and tasteless, so I don't know if it just wasn't fresh or just not great . So in conclusion, it was good, but not the best , as there are plenty of tea places around. read more

Cafe Bubbly in Hicksville is IN the A Mart Korean Market store at the shopping center within the corner of South Oyster Bay Road and East Plainview Road. Note: GPS didn't make clear directions as coming from N and making a R heading E Before SOB road you need to get in L lane at Light and make left into Right lane, right into shopping center. Left lane on Old Country Road has many cars so get over asap. If on SOB rd then you need from R lane cross over L side into shopping center. This said the stores the location and stores have been that way for years. Yes you will see a Taco Bell there and it is a big parking lot. There are signs at A Mart (see pix) noting Cafe Bubbly is inside. (I didn't see a listing of days and hours posted but perhaps I missed it) Once in go to your Left and you will see the sign and booth. 2 years they have been there. The credit card has a minimum of 10 dollars. Note: Bring cash if getting one drink or one item. I bought some home made bread and a Mocha cake roll to add to the order. The ladies explained about the bobas and flavors. I purchased a hot Latte Honey Jasmin. I asked if it had Fructose and was told that the syrup did not. It was tasty. read more

This is a local bubble tea shop inside A-Mart. They sell bubble teas as well as other drinks and snacks (taiyaki, macarons, cream rolls, etc.). I ordered the Regular Iced Black Sesame Milk Tea with 25% sugar and light ice. The employee asked if I wanted to add any toppings. I thought fresh boba was always included per the menu but she stated toppings were extra. I decided not to add toppings. Overall, the drink was a bit watered down which made the black sesame flavor mild. I would opt for no ice next time as half the drink had ice and watered down the flavor. read more

FINALLY got to try this place and I'm so happy I did because now I have a new favorite bubble tea spot! What an absolutely adorable family owned and operated spot. The attention to detail and care taken for everything is spot on. I got the banana latte and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best beverages I've had in the longest time. I also tried taiyaki for the first time and the sweet red bean was nothing like I expected! The filling was creamy and smooth and sweet and the waffle was light, fluffy, and crispy at the edges. Overall, their products run a bit sweeter than I like so consider adjusting sugar levels in drinks. Tried the peanut butter cupcake which was really well balanced - frosting was not too sweet and the chocolate cake component was moist and bouncy too. Also got a malibu which was a refreshing fruity drink but very sweet for my liking. The matcha milk tea I got came with strawberry jellies that were made in a star shape and were difficult as a shape to drink with a straw and not as soft like other boba toppings so I would consider getting a different topping. read more

The mother daughter team that runs this shop is super sweet and pleasant. They will answer any questions you might have regarding the teas. It's inside the A mart. Our favorite thing is actually the Tayaki ( fish shaped pastry). It's 3 for $8! I always end up getting at least 3 because my kids love it. I love picking up groceries as I am waiting for my food. At first, there's a lot on the menu. But the owners are so welcoming and helpful at finding you a drink that you will like. I actually think they get some sick satisfaction out of it =P They are also always experimenting with drinks. First time I was there, I tried a peach boba that I swear tasted like those japanese candy gummies. Then had a kiwi one which I actually don't like regular kiwis. But the drink they made had a good balance of sweet and sour while the mix-ins they added made the texture fruity so it really gives you that kiwi vibe.
