This Starbucks is truly underrated! It's one of the friendliest and most thoughtful Starbucks I've ever been to. Their customer service reminds me of a non-chain coffee shop. They are efficient and I've always been happy with my drink orders. When looking around, customers look comfortable and relaxed. The temp indoors is nice during the cold mornings. Located in the Fairmont Center in Pacifica, with easy parking. I've come here several times to work a bit when in the area (reliable, free WiFi) and the staff is always welcoming no matter if it's early AM, and the ambiance is cozy. Staff also have kindly brought over my order at the table while I got situated. Once a staff member even offered to bring a cup of water while I was working. I think that's not common for Starbucks. I really appreciate these things as it's hard to get up when you're by yourself. There's a few tables by large windows and a long table in the middle with many seats. On weekday mornings, I usually can grab a table by the window, which have outlets for charging your devices. 3.5 stars. I've had an on-and-off relationship with the Fairmont Center Starbucks for years. Located in my most frequented neighbourhood shopping centre where Safeway, Banfield, Dollar Tree, etc. also reside, this corner locale is a convenient spot to quickly drop in for a cup of joe. Why have I had taken breaks from this Starbucks? It all comes down to service. This is another branch of the chain coffee shoppe that would reject the free drink coupons sent to me by the Corporate Office. What's up with that? How does a corporation send out vouchers like that and then instruct their stores to decline accepting them?? That's some major lack of integrity. Fast forward to a few years later when I was in great need for caffeine and decided to give up on the worthless coupons - customer care has definitely improved. At one of my return visits, Barista Nikko overheard me ask about the flavour of the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte compared to other drinks and he brought out a sample of the syrup with oatmilk for me to sample. Wow, I didn't even ask for a taste, he offered that to me on his own. I was impressed. I also took note that quite a few regular customers of this place love the team, coming in with warm greetings. That says a lot. Definitely worth mentioning. As for the venue, the Fairmont Center offers plenty of free parking in their spacious lot. Finding a front row space right by the entrance is usually not a problem. When staying to work, they keep the temperature at a comfortable, cozy level and tables are well kept for the most part. The bathroom, though, could use some attention - I haven't seen it filthy, but a slight stench has been noticed, yuck. Drinks are consistently good, which is to be expected since all Starbucks stores are supposed to follow recipes with specific measurements of each ingredient. I'm glad to see that they recently extended their hours to close past 5 PM. That opens up my opportunities to stop in - yes, I'm back on with them again. read more

I paid for a venti strawberry açaí with no lemonade, came in and 1/4 of the cup was still empty and when I asked if they could fill it up to the top instead of leaving the cup half empty they told me they would have to charge me another dollar because I wanted more syrup??? Employees are always on top! My drink may be difficult for most but this location ALWAYS makes it right. Other Starbucks leave the mocha syrup sitting on my bottom where I have to stir it myself but the baristas here know what's up! I will continue to come here on Thursdays when I work out in Daly City. Haven't been to this Starbucks in a while now because of this messed up every single time. Ordered a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Crme Frappuccino with an extra shot on top. Not blended in. Affogato! 1. They didn't even put my extra shot in there because it should definitely be a darker color than this. And should taste a lot stronger. 2. I come to this Starbucks fairly often as it's right near my job. I usually have a good experience as far as customer service & drinks go. This morning was horrible, the lady taking orders was SO rude and kept cutting me off to say "what else" before I could even finish ordering. And then as I went to go add my own cream and sugar to my coffee I see milk was already added but I was never asked what I wanted in there. Which on a regular day wouldn't have been a big deal but I was once again met with an attitude from the employee stating "cream, you can just add more" when the issue was I wanted less.. oh, and my breakfast sandwich was soggy! read more

Yes it's among the biggest chains in the world, but this is my home location and the employees sure make me feel like home. They always go above and beyond, have a great friendly attitude, and do right by your orders if there is any problem. They also deeply understand the problems that a person who hasn't had their coffee yet may suffer from. Like reminding you you need a tray, or that something is hot, which sounds small but is actually extremely important when you're not functional before caffeine like me. The coffee & food is just as good as the other Starbucks the service is not as friendly as other locations, I can tell the employees are too comfortable talking really bad about the customers between them , literally even when the customer still in the store, they still talking really bad about the customers, I am very surprised how rude the lady in the picture is. My sister goes to Starbucks everyday different ones... and even her coworkers do the order that my sister request with NO PROBLEM. But this lady told my sister she couldn't do it. And it's not a complicated order. My sister ask her order with double foam. And she paid for extra that's it! She denies service because she couldn't do it. My sister didn't say anything she got something else we came back and we find the same lady talk in trash about customers. Very disappointed, I buy coffee here on Daily but lately I have been having bad experiences with the worker with their customer service. I've ask for a cup holder and the cashier told me that the cup holders are only for delivery and that they do not have any. I am a customer too I pay for my orders. I spend a lot to buy coffee here everyday. I saw the cup holder when they said there wasn't any. This was not the only issue, I also have asked several times for less ice, but not everyone accommodate the request. It's very disappointing. My favorite location around, most definitely. The workers are so pleasant and so kind that love coming here to study or read or what have you. They always get my drink right and when they don't, they are eager to get to remake it. Sometimes they even hand-deliver your drinks. You genuinely feel like family here and the other customers treat you like one too! Family -- something I don't necessarily have but coming here makes me feel like I do. That's how great it is. I was greeted by two super professional and sweet young ladies who helped me order-I was super indecisive! My drink was perfectly delicious, a cold brew-yum! But the staff, wow, they were so super friendly and kind! The vibe was cool; music is fun! I have some work to do before a meeting and so I sat and worked on my computer for 2 hours here, I am blown away by the customer service! I am a STICKLER and the young man who appeared, maybe a manager? I don't know but gosh he and the ladies worked so well together. I'm a regular customer and this is my home location . This is the second time I placed a very large mobile order and the drip coffee was not included. I arrived and advised them I was still missing a drip coffee - they said it was coming - but I had to tell them two more times and ended up waiting 20 mins for the drip coffee. By then all other drinks and food were cold. You would think that once I brought it to their attention, they would just turn around and prepare a drip coffee. I've been coming to this Starbucks regularly for years. The staff are always very friendly, professional and always get my order right. I'm always shocked at the audacity of some of the clientele. I have seen patrons be rude, disrespectful and curse at the employees because they ordered some ridiculous drink they saw on TikTok that sucked or they ordered their drink to the wrong store. Anytime I've made a mistake with my order and let the barista know they have always been willing to fix it for me. I had dropped off my mom to play some mah jong at my sister's in-law's house and needed a place to wrap up some work while enjoying the Super Bowl. As it turns out, there are 9 Starbucks locations within a mile of their home so I went with the nearest one just down the street. I got my usual passion iced tea to cool me down on this hot day and it's just as you might have expected, excellent. Getting refills here was quick and easy since it was pretty quiet as everybody was probably watching the big game. Cramped but cozy, this location did a good job of making the place feel larger than it actually was. The service was kind of whatever, and there is limited seating, but it was a comfortable place to work.
