Absolutely respect and understand baristas can't take anything from us in the drive thru to throw away for us but it would be nice and very helpful if you had a trash at the end of the drive thru like other drive thru or even outside the front door so customers didn't have to park and run inside to take care of trash. read more

The only positive thing I can say is that they did remake my husband's drink -- but even the remake wasn't right. We ordered two drinks and a bagel with cream cheese. My PSL tasted off (my husband agreed); it was more like straight espresso than anything resembling a pumpkin spice latte. His drink -- an iced blonde vanilla latte -- came out hot and tasted like espresso-flavored water. They remade it, but the second version was just a watered-down latte with barely any espresso flavor. We also had to ask for the cream cheese for the bagel -- not a big deal, but just another sign of how off everything was. What really stood out was the customer in front of us. She looked like she ordered a tall Frappuccino and a pastry, but we got all our items a full 15 minutes before she got hers, even though she ordered first. In the end, we ended up tossing the drinks and going somewhere else. Disappointing experience all around. read more

I will go out of my way to avoid this location after being treated rudely by an older lady with blonde hair and glasses. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte and asked for a child's temperature. She responded with, "So you want it hot?" No, I want it at a child's temperature so not to burn a child's mouth. She then cuts me off and tells me to stop talking as I proceed to order a second drink because she couldn't find the button for the temperature setting to put the order through. I saw flies inside the baked goods case the previous visit and now this mistreatment. You've lost my business. read more

EVERYTHING. This location cannot make a consistent drink to save their lives! I work in Customer service, I work in food, I've worked at a coffee shop! I am always nice to them and I have severe social anxiety so I'll wait for a pattern before I get upset. I am autistic, I have been getting the same drink combos my entire adult life, and I know when my drinks are wrong. ((One time a location ran out of normal Starbucks syrup brand and ordered a backup brand and I called them because the drink tasted off and they didn't informed me of that!)) I get Starbucks 4/7 days a week. They constantly gas light you! If I order a WM they make it a regular one! I switched to a regular one so they would screw up less and then they don't put any syrup in their drinks! I'm not being exaggerative when I say they mess up the drinks 7/10 times and I'll say something every 3rd time! So as usual, this week two days in a row they didn't out any of my syrup flavor in it. So yesterday when I ordered my drink I called them and said he the last two days I've thrown my drinks away can you just make sure they put the syrup in today? And they give me attitude about trying my drink. Why should I have to burn my mouth in your hot drinks the second you hand it to me to make sure you're making your own drinks right?! On top of this, sometimes my cup is closer to half full, other times it's a MILK bath, one time they filled the milk so high that when I took the lid off at work to stir it the drink spilled out! That time they also didn't out they extra shot of espresso in there which is another common issue!! I cannot take photos of their shot and syrup issues but here are some photos of the milk differences! This is the same size drink. The photos with the lids are times I ordered a WM twice in a week and they gave me a regular Mocha. This is when I started just getting my flavor of drink in mocha's to make it easier for them and now they've gotten super bad about the syrup! It's just always something. I also make sure to always call the manager ahead of time not to make a scene in the store, and I still get gas lit, I finally said ok then if you're so sure that you put the syrup in there after this happened every day this week then YOU try my drink. They're fake nice when you get your drink but appalling after anything is wrong. I have to drive out of the way to go back and bring my drink in on my lunch to get my drink refunded, I never have them remake it because I work at 7 am, I don't want coffee at lunch time, so why would on EARTH would I want this? read more

I was ordered an Iced Caramel Macchiato to be picked up here, as I was driving. When I arrived, a couple minutes later, they already had the drink done! The workers there are very friendly, and you could tell a lot of regulars drop by this location right off of the highway. This location is a little confusing to get to as you have to drive through two roundabouts coming in from the highway! It is a fairly small location, so it's not really meant for studying students to camp out at. However, it's the best for quick and accurate orders! read more

AMAZING customer service. I'm one to have detailed orders and they always get it write with no mistakes! Also never ask me to repeat it & that's pretty impressive in my opinion . A venti cold brew with sweet cream foam 3 pumps of hazelnut & 2 pumps white mocha with light ice and extra foam is my go to drink (: Starting your morning the wrong way can set your day off wrong and I drink coffee daily so actually I go out of my way to come to this one and I'm NEVER disappointed , from waiting inside (if you have to) it's clean and very fast or if you go threw the drive threw either way the staff is always polite. Today they saw my dog in the passenger seat when I pulled up in the drive threw and offered me a puppuccino for him without me even asking. He loved it so much & watching him lick the whip cream made my heart melt to be honest. I've never got one before for him but I will from now on when he's with me. I highly recommend this location. First they gave me a grande when I asked for a venti and when I told the lady she gave me an attitude. She did offer to give me the grande and still give me a venti but when I said yes she decided not to give it to me. She gave me coffee I said thank you and she kind of just shut the door on my face. I received my drink and it wasn't even properly made. She just put the syrup in the cup and the coffee on top. She didn't even try and put in the effort to mix it. read more

They didn't have any butter croissants, even though they let me order it, so she asked if chocolate was okay, so I told her it was. She gave us our drinks, and then rudely asked "did I forget something" so I said yes, our chocolate croissant. She acted like it was our fault, and said she didn't charge us for it, and then her attitude got worse when I told her we still wanted to. They also make my coffee wrong 75% of the time, so very rarely do we go to this Starbucks, but stopped by today, and we're not at all happy with the customer service. read more

Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a barista, if I go into the cafe, who is usually the cashier when I stop by in the morning and she can be a little difficult. There has been many times that the store is slammed and everyone is busy with their tasks and she is in the back talking or nowhere to be found. More than a few times I've waited with no one acknowledging me or the barista at the warming station trying to get that same difficult cashier barista to come and help out. For the most part they get my order right, but I've been to other locations where they are more consistent. Overall it's not bad and I continue to go for the convenience. read more

I always feel weird writing reviews on chains like this because people are going to return there with or without my review. I generally prefer local chains, but I live downtown and work in Ottawa so Starbucks is the most convenient choice for me. The Starbucks is very easy to get to and has a large lot and drive thru. The store itself is always clean and stocked and the staff is super friendly and remembers my name and order. My only grievance is often when it is busy they seem flustered and I end up waiting longer then I would at another location. I hope that Starbucks overall can start using more environmentally friendly cups and "straws" and lids! read more

Another girl walked up behind her and I then asked her if I could have light ice and she looked at me and turned around without acknowledging me. This is a very high volume Starbucks due to a convenient location and proximity to lots of businesses. If you are in a time crunch, keep this in mind. Even mobile orders come in waves, and there's not enough room to always set all the mobile orders out for customers to grab, so be aware if you're stopping by during rush hour. The morning crew has done a great job of improving their times in the drive and getting customers their orders and getting them out quickly. With such a huge customer base, there are days (and many of them) where it is nonstop busy until 2pm or later. With that said, though, they still remain friendly and accommodating as much as possible. If you are in a hurry, try to avoid going in from around 6 to 9 during the week.If you have to order something big and complicated (like a traveler of coffee, or a bunch of drinks at once), they really appreciate being called ahead so they can have everything for you when you arrive. And if you happen to come by during a rush, just know that they're doing everything they can to speed things up and make the moment right. This is my favorite Starbucks of all time. (taco bell does this all the time) Me: "Can I get 2 grande tai chi." Barista: "Okay, I got two grande tai chi." "But... how are you doing today?" Me: *dropped jaw* thinking.. oh someone cares. Ok, a little hallmarky. The point is they want to take the time, in between rushing to fix your perfect cup/food of whatever, to get to know their customer. Believe me they do rush because there is never a long line here. This morning was a moment of needing a simple pick-me-up. I was in stitches even before I got up to the window. Roomie in tow pushed me back and told the barista that they need to stop being so good because I am addicted to their great service. For some reason I thought drive through would be fast, I should have known when I didn't move after 5 minutes. 20 minutes it took to get my coffee and that was with 6 cars in front when I pulled in. This has got to be the slowest Starbucks drive through ever. No excuse and the reason given was a shift change. Really? Seems like even in a shift change the system shouldn't break down. Avoid this place if you are in a hurry in the morning because speed and efficiency is not a strong point. This is the Starbucks I usually stop at on the way into work. If I walk in they know my order without even asking if it is one of the regular baristas. "Hi Kim, would you like the usual?" Is my normal greeting. I love the fact that they know regulars here. If it is cold or raining or what ever I go through the drive thru and whomever is working that day has always been nice to me and rechecks my order before giving me my total. They are fast and efficient and I have never had a problem at this location. Sometimes me or one of my office co-workers will run here for an afternoon treat for the office and we cups are always marked so we know which one belongs to which person. So it's been since 2009 since I have yelped this place and I must say they have improved over the years. New furniture with 3 high tops near the windows and a new little lounge area with modern chairs. The place has always taken care of me. One time I was in the drive thru and the vehicle in front had a large order. I didn't concern myself with the time it took to get to my order as I didn't think it had taken that long. Pretty standard as far as Starbucks go. Nothing over-the-top or special about this location. It's near my office so it's my go-to coffee location. However, it is probably the worst parking lot/drive-thru design I've ever experienced. In the morning, when there are ten people in the drive-thru, it's literally impossible to get in or out of the parking lot, as the line cuts off the entrance and exit. It does not make for a very enjoyable experience and just adds to my morning stress. read more

I've never been a Starbucks kind of person as I don't drink coffee, but this place is pretty good. My husband recently turned me on to this place for their breakfast items. The food is delicious as I'm sure their drinks are too. The staff are always very friendly, the location is clean, and it's conveniently located. With that said, it's a popular place so if you go in the mornings, allow yourself plenty of extra time to wait. I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 simply because the configuration of the parking lot and drive thru are somewhat of a nightmare when it comes to the morning rush. It's almost like solving a Rubix cube when it comes to accommodating all the cars in the drive thru. Most of the time, the line extends all the way to the back of the parking lot.
