Tried this today on a whim and was in and out of the line super quick. I'd suggest looking up the menu on your phone, as the one posted on the wall isn't very readable from the 2nd lane. The music was blaring, as others have said, and I didn't mind that...kinda sets the scene as a fun place. The employee outside in my lane was really friendly, conversational. I ordered the cinnamon roll drink, sugar free, with almond milk. It was $5 something before tip. It's pretty sweet, and my guess is that they're not using sugar free almond milk, but I could be wrong. I tried to find out, but couldn't find that information anywhere. As someone watching their sugar intake (and can't have dairy), that's important to know, and I wouldn't revisit until I find out for sure. But the drink was delicious! Would love to see the owner respond to this and let me know :)

This is a drive in coffee joint with a lot of fun fufu options for coffee. We got a medium (I would hate to see a large - the medium was enormous) German Chocolate and a Brunette. So good! It was super fast service and you pull up to a person that's waiting for you outside. I loved the girl we came up to. She was so fun and personable. (In case her bosses read this - she had long dreads that were a light brown color - had the most epically beautiful eyelashes)

7 Brew is a new drive thru coffee spot that is popping up in the KC area. I have gone twice now and there has been no wait and they make your drink in a timely efficient manner. Has a young and hip vibe with it playing the most recent hits and a very electric staff. If I was still in a high school or college I would want to work here. The menu can be hard to read if you are in the second drive thru line so I recommend looking it at it on your phone. I have tried both the vanilla latte and strawberry and wild berry smoothie. Both of my drinks were fantastic and want to go back to try what else they offer. Not only do they offer coffee products they also have shakes, energy drinks, teas, sparkling waters, and create your own option. The amount of customization makes this place worth it to visit multiple times.

I have been to 7 brew in Springfield mo, they have three locations and super cool staff, last nite saw this location just open up, got off from work, drove here and grab a shake, Irish mint and it was good, all out side service, Topeka has a store independence, mo is getting one, the concepts is different, no indoor all drive thu, two lines, sign said pull in shorter line, one person will take u order and if u a member will put your phone number it's free, each time u check in u get a point and 10 points free drink and than u pull forward and the other person will check to make sure u drink order is right, swipe u card and hand u your drink, I've seen long lines and they work fast, quicker than most places, friendly too,

I was so excited to hear that there are several 7Brew locations opening in KC! It started in Arkansas, so this coffee defined my entire college career with countless late night triple shot blondies to get me through the essays and studying. The menu has a good amount of depth with latte options, energy drinks, teas, smoothies, and Italian sodas - each with their own purpose and benefit. While the lattes are very sweet, they have great flavor combinations, my favorites are the blondie and the smooth 7. They're perfect for a morning or midday (or late night!!!) pick me up. The staff is efficient and always in a great mood, not to mention they always have great music playing. The convenience of the drive-thru only coffee shop is unbeatable. I can't wait to watch 7Brew thrive in the KC area!

I stopped in when I'd usually go to the Starbucks across the street for my afternoon coffee pick-me-up... so glad I did!! The coffee is rich and smooooth--so yummy. Fantastic prices for the size (the large is SUPER huge for $7 or so) definitely a great deal, especially if you're used to Starbucks prices. The service was phenomenal--super quick and extremely friendly & knowledgeable. It's similar to a Dutch Bros/Andy's where it's Drive-Thru only and the employee stops at your car for your order. The drinks were out within a minute or so!! I am so happy I found my new local coffee spot!!

Does anyone know if they use unsweetened almond milk here?

They have almond, coconut and oat milk. Not sure if it is unsweetened.

First of all, be sure not to blink because the sign isn't very visable and the location is unassuming from the outside, abeit a very clean exterior. Walking in, I love the vibe, trendy but not pretentious, grounded yet modern and a fair amount of people but not overflowing. Yessiree Bob, this is my kind of place. Oh and the baristas are patient, kind and willing to offer advice based on your individual tastes. I've been here several times; however, my eating habits preclude me from indulging in anything outside of berries. Do the apple fritters, donuts, muffins and other items look outstanding, of course they do. In fact, my buddy whom I generally meet there has raved how good the pastries are and after living in Austin and trying home made poptarts, I'm still kicking myself for not trying them. However, the path to maintaining a healthy weight and figure is paved in discipline. I must admit they nailed the ambiance. The cement floors are patterned with what looks like dark wood textured tiles and the walls are a warm burgundy, emitting a certain visual warmth. The hanging art amuses me, sometimes it's movie paintings, sometimes its modern art while other times it's eclectic and I've never figured out their rotation, but I appreciate it. The hanging lamps offer a bit of 2010 mod while the open coffee service area proudly displays all of the tools of an expert craftsman. The counter area has a small display case enticing the sweet tooth and the chalk boards give a simplistic view of their menu, but they also offer daily "experiments" that are fun to sample. The first time I came, I tried the Café Au Lait which was very strong, robust and full of lasting flavor. The 12oz amount seemed to be about perfect for my needs. The next time I dropped by I sampled the Dulce de Leche which was a mistake. Why, you might be wondering? Because I've never ordered anything else since then and I always get the 16oz. It's smooth, a little softer on the coffee flavor while balancing it with the strong caramel notes. I know it's probably got more calories than I want, but hey, that's why I'm not eating! They also have some pretty good selection of home ground coffees from places like Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Brazil and other far, far away locations. Come to think of it I don't recall if they have any Hawaiian beans which are pretty trendy now (Kona is a great coffee!!) Oh I forgot to mention they do have a fast wifi but please for the love of God, don't be that geek in the corner pretending to write the great American novel in the corner. That's so.... 2000s.... Overall, this is my favorite coffee shop in Overland Park and it's not even close. Stop on by for the best coffee experience you'll have in the area!

It's got that ideal coffee shop & chill vibe -- during the week you'll see adults working quietly on laptops, and on weekends it turns into a mix of families, kids, and regulars who clearly love the place. The staff is always friendly, and the self-serve water station is a nice touch. Coffee: I've tried the lattes twice and the Salted Market Cold Foam Cold Brew (Sway Coffee Roasters cold brew + market syrup cold foam) once. Both are good -- not life-changing, but solid. I actually don't come here for the coffee; I come for the food. Breakfast: Quiche (Veggie or Bacon & Sausage) - Comes with a side of parmesan arugula salad. The veggie version surprised me -- I usually go for meat, but this one wins for balance and flavor. The meat version is good too, just a bit salty. Veggie: 4.5/5 | Meat: 4/5 The Farm Sandwich - Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, veggies, cheddar, poblano spread, and avocado on a croissant. That croissanty, buttery base and poblano spread: Absolute chef's kiss. My mom and I both love this one -- buttery, filling, and comforting in every bite. 5/5 Pepper Jack Burrito - Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, pepper jack cheese, and serrano sauce. Great kick from the sauce! If they toasted the wrap, it'd be a perfect 5/5 instead of 4/5. Chorizo Bowl - Over-easy egg, chorizo, sweet potatoes, quinoa, black beans, avocado, green onion + charred salsa. I'm usually not a quinoa fan (it's the "brown rice of health food"), but somehow they make it amazing. Sweet, savory, hearty -- the kind of dish that makes you forget it's healthy. A perfect brunch bowl. 5/5 -- honestly should be 6/5. Bakery Items: Carrot muffin and cinnamon donut -- both are light, perfectly sweet, and just the right size. 5/5 Layla's Last Breakfast This place also has sentimental meaning for me. On the day I had to say goodbye to my dog, Layla, I bought her breakfast from McLain's -- biscuits and gravy, and The Farm sandwich. That was her last meal before the vet came to our house. I'll never forget that she left feeling full and loved. So yeah, McLain's isn't just a café to me -- it's comfort, consistency, and a piece of my heart.

The plushies and other merch they had was very cute and I'll very likely buy something the next time I visit. The decor was also lovely, with some very happy plants in the windows. The staff were also friendly and gave me no reason to doubt their skills. My only complaint is that the seating was just shy of being comfortable. My friend said the bench seating was a bit hard, and while the chair I sat in was soft, the arm rests made it a little too narrow for me (I'm plus size and have chronic pain, so finding truly comfortable seating can be a challenge at most places. As a note, anyone larger than a women's 3X probably wouldn't be able to comfortably sit in the chairs at all and would need to sit on the bench). Overall it was a pleasant experience, and I plan to go again!
