My favorite drink is the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso--I have it almost every day! If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should. I also tried the Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha, and it wasn't bad at all. It was actually surprisingly good! Still, my favorite will always be the one I drink every day. I tried out the Starbucks today with family members. The staff was friendly and our drinks and order came out quickly. This particular Starbucks was quieter than other Starbucks, which was pleasant. The drinks were good as well. The only thing needed for improving is the floor being swept better. read more

Reached out to Starbucks corporate customer service and shared this experience of October 9, 2025 that I had with "Zoey" at the Starbucks located at College & Quivira, in Overland Park, Kansas. Customer service apologized, stating that what I experienced "does not reflect the standards we strive to uphold at Starbucks, where every customer deserves to be treated with respect and kindness." The corporate office refunded what I paid, and added $4.00 to boot for the frustration endured. Corporate also stated they would share my experience with the district manager because of the repetition of this type of experience with this location. While I will not return to the Starbucks located at College & Quivira, in Overland Park, Kansas, I am grateful for the Corporate office being willing to hear, respond, and forward the complaint to others who can help the local store adjust to the corporate Starbucks values and standards of service. read more

Never had a mistake or a bad order from here. The place is clean (spotless even), and the staff all wear masks (and sometimes trash bags made into princess dresses). It's just a great Starbucks to satisfy your coffee and egg bites needs! Good to go for a morning coffee on the way in to work, or an evening coffee on the way home... I really think they'd sell you a coffee at other times of the day, if you make your way over here! Order ahead on the app, is my advice. And if you don't know exactly how to pull together the twists and turns around drink options in the app, they have helpful staff that will work with you to get it right! Then you can save it, and boom. "Siri, order my Starbucks". :-) If you order and pay through the app, and your drink is ready, occasionally you and the barista are coordinated enough to grab it at the window without even stopping the car :-) read more

we we ordered at 11:55 and we waited for 1hour for our driver they didn't even put the label on saying it was ours it tasted so bad it tasted like toilet water we had to walk to the counter and them to make her drink and then they started snapping down and we told them that we didn't have to wait and then they made dumb excuses we will never come back to the Starbucks. I guess you can read my other reviews of the Starbucks in the KC area (there are several of them) and still get the same overall message that I have not really had a bad experience at a local Starbucks. This location is not different. Friendly staff and the service is only fast during off peak hours and I am fine with that. They did mess up an order of mine but quickly remedied it. They have both drive thru and plenty of interior room to have a small meeting or to get work done. read more

Not pleased with this location. The table layout is terrible. In one corner the bar height tables are right next to the table height tables and unless you want to be in someone's personal space there's no excuse for that. There's no place to sit that feels private and secluded, it's like a cafeteria where you'll either need to bring your headphones and tune out those around you, or you'll be listening to every conversation around you (and being heard). As someone who likes to meet friends and business connections, this location doesn't suit my needs. At all. read more

This has to be my favorite Starbucks location in the local area. There are a couple that are closer to me drive wise but the morning staff are always so friendly that it makes it worth the extra few minutes into work. Whenever I want to try something new, the workers are always helpful with different suggestions for me. I have yet to have a bad experience here and the off chance something is wrong with my order, they fix it right away without a hassle. It always brightens up my day to see Brandon, Alex, Haley, Emily, or Jade working because no matter what they're doing, they go out of their way to ask how my morning is going and a quick conversation before I go to work! I'm also a student and it's a great place to study if you work better with background noise. The drinks are always spot on with good pump consistency! Definitely worth a visit if you haven't already tried it. read more

They charge over a dollar more for their breakfast wraps than what corporate recommended. I got a feta spinach egg wrap with sriracha. They forgot the sriracha. It had no seasoning. I do like this Starbucks- it has a nice size sitting space. The service so far has been decent. Good parking available and the music is at a nice background level volume. Most of the JCCC crowd is manageable unless it's the kindergarten group (freshmen). You can always distinguish these because they run in packs of 6 or more and titter about people like they're still in high school ... I just try to get there before afternoon snack time or around / after dinner time. :). Some days I do think an 'adult' take over would be funny though. Then sit back and watch their faces when there's no place for them to sit... sooooo mean, I know. LOL read more

I have been to this location a few times over the years, but it was time to finally write a review. This location specifically has done a great job with social distancing their tables without it feeling like they were going out of business. I have been inside other locations that have all the tables and chairs stacked in the corner which is not a welcoming feel for customers. Not only did this Starbucks keep a welcoming feel in the store, but their staff also made it a warm environment. My brother and I just came in for a cold brew, a vanilla latte, and a few, nice sugary treats for the road. We may be simple folk, but the drinks were tasty as well as our mid-afternoon dessert of cookies. Thank you to this location. read more

Sometimes hard to get a place to sit because there are often people from the college taking up an entire table with their laptops for VERY LONG periods of time! This is a coffee shop not study hall! Recommend going to a different Starbucks. read more

This location used to be a Wendy's. It's right across the street from Johnson County Community College so should get some good business. The girls are very sweet and attentive. I was in and out quickly but didn't feel rushed at all. My coffee was perfect too. read more

I went in today around 4pm and there was literally no one in line and 3 employees working , and they all pretended to be busy and turned their backs so they didn't have to greet or ring me up and finally one of them acknowledged me and even then , it looked like it was a chore for one of them to ring me up.. it's unusual , because I typically have good encounters at Starbucks specially if Victoria is working , but I also work in customer service and I believe that , customer service should always be consistent . read more
