It's always full of ice and overly foamy. I wouldn't go back to this location because the music was very loud and it was freezing inside. I've been coming here regularly for about 2 years with no problems and today on a Friday morning during the rush another store shut down forcing all online orders to this location. This still isn't my fave Starbucks location, because the parking lot is tricky to navigate and just plain annoying, but the customer service is stellar, so I still recommend it. If you must have a drive-thru like at this location, Scooters across the street has good coffee too, or head a bit further east and go inside Mud Pie for awesome coffee and delicious treats that are also vegan. read more

I find their drive thru to be awkward and it's location isn't always easy for exiting onto the busy street (depends which way you're going, of course). Sure, I'll go here. Based on the reviews for this location, I obviously had a much different experience than everyone else. While my co-workers were grabbing lunch at Fuzzy's, I decided to treat myself to a latte. I was not in any hurry and I was the only one standing at the inside counter. I was immediately greeted and welcomed to the store. The employee was so friendly, laid back, and genuine which is exactly my style. We chatted for a moment about each other day which was nice for her to take the time since they weren't busy. Long and painfully dramatic story short, this was the THIRD Starbucks I visited within the hour to get my drink made correctly. The location before this location shooed me away. The location before that made my drink terribly wrong. Micheal had the pleasure of answering my mess of a phone call and completely turning an awful overwhelming experience into such an amazing one. Not only did he go ABOVE AND BEYOND remaking my drink. He wrote a very kind note apologizing for the other locations. It shouldn't take 3 people to act on correct customer service. I am very grateful for how he handled the situation going above and beyond. Also the drink made by Micheal is perfection. They are all great, but specifically a barista with glasses and green in their hair. I cross my fingers in the drive thru hoping that I will get them, because they always make my day! This Starbucks location does not rise to the challenge during high volume times. I typically order on the mobile app once a week on my early day into the office. I always order the same thing - a breakfast food item and a chai tea latte. The mobile app is a straightforward process, but receiving my order correctly at this location is always a hit or miss. I will usually receive either the food item OR the drink, and the other item is typically forgotten (I suspect the ticket is thrown away after one item has been fulfilled). I've had to ask the employee at the cash register to check on my unfulfilled item before, and am usually met with attitude. If you're in a rush and want to grab your food quickly, don't go here. If you've got time to kill and don't mind waiting with 20 other people, go for it. read more

Uniformity is the key to Starbucks' mega-empire. A latte in Bismarck should taste like a latte in Overland Park. Enter this new location in 95th Street's Cherokee South shopping center, a welcomed addition to a strip mall that doesn't always look like it's thriving. Replete with two drive-thru lanes (which surprisingly only end in one ordering speaker unlike Chick-Fil-A), this Starbucks serves up the regular favorites. My experiences here have been positive both with friendly staff and relative speedy processing of orders. Take a break from the drive thru if you can and enjoy a really nice interior atmosphere. 95th Street Coffee Wars are alive and well. Scooters (north side of 95th) put Java Crossing out of business. Scooters is understandably quiet now that "the man" has moved in literally across the street. I support good coffee and depending on whichever location is easier for me to access, I will patronize it at the moment. read more

Me and my girlfriend have been going to this Starbucks for years now. It continues to be the best and most consistent around! She always gets a unique iced coffee, and I get an Americano. I wish I could say I left a happy man after preordering and picking up my coffee and food this morning. Before Covid19 I would go everyday to Starbucks for breakfast. Starbucks app was offering 25 bonus points to order and pickup. I thought, why not try it. While I was inside picking my order up two different ladies walked in to pick orders up as well. Neither of them had masks on. I wish Starbucks would make it a requirement to have a mask on when picking orders up. I'm normally not so anal about these things. However, I don't want to be the person that makes someone else sick by not knowing if I'm sick. This is why I use a mask. I wish folks would reciprocate the kindness. Starbucks could place a printed sign on the doors letting people know a mask is required. Or how about on the app. I hate that we have to police people. However, these are the times we are in. This Starbuck's is relatively new and looks great. The store is in a very accessible spot and can be easily seen from the street. They have some outdoor seating and plenty of parking. I typically place mobile orders and pick-up here and have never had an issue. It is nice for the people (including myself) to have this location here on such a busy intersection. I've only been through the drive thru at this location to get an afternoon coffee and a snack for me and grandkids,but they always get my coffee right (nonfat, no foam ) and I've always been able to get my bantam bagels there. Update: I went back after they'd been open a month or so, and it is no better. Possibly worse. I went inside to avoid the long line and ordered a cold brew with cream. It took 15 minutes to get my drink that literally involves just pouring pre-made ingredients into a cup. The staff heated up several sandwiches and sent them out before attending to my drink. They only made my beverage when they had about 10 to make, lining up cups and doing in assembly line style. This store seriously needs to work on training. It is very unfortunate that this store is so horrible run since it is so close to my house, but I cannot fathom going there again. read more

After visiting this Starbucks location twice, I find myself confused by its current rating on here. Both visits have been above average with solid drinks and friendly baristas. The reason this Starbucks stands out from the other is the fact that it is practically brand new, clean, and modern. One of my favorite features has to be the large table in the middle of sitting area which is great to spread out on if you are doing work. This table also has outlets on it so that you don't have to choose a less than desirable spot to sit in just because it has an outlet nearby. read more

I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but I feel that this one is warranted given my negative experience. I asked my Uber driver to stop by the drive-through at this store at 5:40 AM on a Saturday as I was on my way to the airport; and we stood at the drive through window for 10 minutes while multiple employees looked at us, but did not acknowledge us at all. We finally tapped on the window and asked an employee if they were open, to which she responded "no" (which is false, because they were supposed to open at 5:30AM). She then gestured 10 minutes with her hands and we left because I was on a time crunch to get to the airport. I am upset because all of the employees looked at us, but did not acknowledge us at all and kept their heads down. I go to Starbucks literally every morning, and there is nothing more frustrating than having Starbucks employees like this who ruin my morning. read more

I have been going to this Starbucks every Friday for quite a while and sometimes twice a week. I really tried to love this location because it is literally 5min from my job and so convenient. The staff is always nice. However, this is the 3rd time in a month they have gotten my order messed up. This morning marked the third time my Vanilla latte has been very bitter, almost if they forgot the Vanilla. I have never experienced this in all the Starbucks I have visited over the years. This is also the third time my Classic oatmeal did not have the nuts, only the berries. I hate the berries and get the oatmeal for the nuts. I hate to give such a low review. However, for nearly $10.00 I expect my order to be enjoyable and it's not with bitter coffee and incomplete oatmeal.
