The shop is 2 places combined into one the first section is cozy and the other one seems to be a place to study or sit at a table. The menu has somewhat variety and the prices are cheap. I had a piña colada smoothie and an oatmeal cookie. The smoothie was great! The cookie was also tasty but it was a bit hard.

I've been looking for a great local spot for a hot cup of tea. There are TONS of cafes for all the coffee drinkers out there, but none of them seem to give much thought to us tea drinkers. Then, I stumbled across Sweet Tee's where I can FINALLY find a variety of hot teas. The staff is super friendly with great atmosphere. I've had several of their teas including my usual Royal English Breakfast Tea Latte, but I LOVE the Apple Cobbler Tea Latte. Delicious.

Service was great--very friendly and knowledgeable. I got the Raspberry Tuxedo Latte. Not cloying at all, and delicious; temp of coffee was perfect. I love that they served it in a "random" ceramic mug; nice touch. Mine cats! Cute! I had them warm the Apple Cinnamon Scone--yummy, crumbly and tender. There were some chunks of apples, and would not have minded if there were more. ;) My friends and I sat outside with such lovely mid-morning weather.

Not a bad coffee shop. I like the concept of grabbing a mug off of the wall that you like to use for your drink. Repurposing and preventing plastic waste is always a plus! Honestly wasn't a big fan of this coffee shop and personally wouldn't see myself coming back. Tried two of their seasonal drinks, one a cinnamon roll matcha and the other the fall 'n down latte I think it was called. Both lacked the flavor of what is was supposed to be and my iced matcha was oddly room temp tasting despite shaking it around. The cinnamon roll was okay. The burrito was probably the favorite of this visit with lots of cheese and a good amount of bacon and sausage. They have an awfully small kitchen/bar area for such a big space which makes service slower than other places I've visited. Seating wise, they have plenty of options from couches, tables, window seats, and out door seating. They have two rooms with seating, one rental room, and a coloring area for kids.

Love Sweet Tee's. Coziest little coffee shop, with a ton of seating and comfy couches. Bonus points for their adorable mug selection! I've only ever had their latte, which was solid but nothing wildly impressive. I've heard their teas and speciality lattes are better, so will need to try at some point. The menu is MASSIVE, so there's something for everyone.

What a treasure to be found! I just moved here from CA and not finding special little places like this. Fortunately a new friend wanted to meet me here. Now this is my second time here, now bringing my sister from TN. We are so impressed by the best Latte we have ever had and two unusual scones, a pina colada and lavender one. Delicious! It has an array of comfy leather, velvet and wood seating areas all nestled into this very special place. This eclectic, retro, and artsy Coffee Shop will be a consistent stop for me!

An amazing little coffee shop that is tucked away and always quiet. The pastries and desserts are all freshly made and taste simply divine. The staff will warm them up for you regardless if you are eating in or grabbing your items to go. The Lavender Lemon Scone has always been one of my favorites as it is just sweet enough to not be overpowering and the Lavender is a nice light touch of floral that goes well with a hot cup of coffee. There are always some gluten-free/ vegan scone and dessert options which is nice for those who have the dietary choice as most coffee/pastry shops do not have this on a regular basis. I have tried a few of them over the years and honestly, you couldn't tell they were a gluten-free or vegan option if I had not already known. They are on par with the other dessert items which is a statement to their recipes as most other places that have those options lack the same flavor or texture that their standard items do. A neat little unique feature is that their walls are lined with wild and crazy coffee cups and you have the choice to grab one off the hooks that you want to use or the staff will just use one they have available. This is a perfect place to go to read or do items such as work or school work as they have comfy chairs and couches and outside of the items being made there is never any noise above a general talking level inside.

Love the expansion! Unfortunately, I haven't been here in several years and now I'm just sad I haven't been in sooner. Same great vibe, coffee is great and I got a tasty pasty for later. Barista Mary is super seeet and easily gives suggestions to customize drink orders to your preference. I will definitely return again soon.

I was looking for a cute coffee shop to spend the afternoon at to work on some homework. As soon as i walked in I knew this place was going to be my vibe! There are a ton of couches and comfy chairs that immediately caught my attention. Soft music is playing in the background but otherwise a fairly quiet atmosphere. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with a cinnamon roll and both were delicious. The girl who took my order was friendly and clarified my order to make sure it was perfect! The order was out within a few minutes. If you are looking for a place to hangout with friends, chill by yourself, get some work done, or have a snack, come here! I will definitely be returning and encouraging people to come here

Pick any mug and Sweet Tee's will fill it with your fave.

Call it what it is: most of you probably use the search option with 'coffee near me' to even stumble across *this* place. You also likely returned hits for drive-thru chains or Seattle representing yet again. Fine, go ahead and hit one of those, you'll be unsatisfied. OR... You can drop in on one of the hidden gems of the Olathe coffee scene, if not the entire Johnson County and greater Kansas City area. Sweet Tee's doesn't benefit by being visible from the street, so you have to want it. Oh, and you should. This spot looks like Chandler, Monica, and Joey will stumble in and collapse on the sofa (how did they always get that seat, anyway?) with a huge mug of joy to accompany them. Your spot awaits. Sweet Tee's is serving up DogWatch Coffee, a local small batch roaster (yay! local!) and their brew is on point. I opted for a dark roast variety and wowza, was that a great cup of coffee. Nutty and not too bitter, and when lightened with a touch of creamer, it was just south of perfect. I paired that up with a cinnamon roll that didn't last long enough for a photo op, so that's on me. Believe me, that pastry was special and combo'd smashingly with my coffee. They also serve up an array of other morning goodies ranging from muffins to individual quiches, all of which said 'try me, I'm wonderful'. But pastries are like puppies: I want them ALL but I don't have the space. So, one by one, I'll try them out. The space and service are the real winners. Unlike so many other spots, there are a ton of places to park and enjoy yourself, from that sofa to plenty of tables, so find one and curl up. If you're staying in and want a mug, select any of them off the wall and have it filled, or maybe they'll surprise you with one they choose. Either way, you will get artisan coffee drinks served with a smile and an environment that you'll want to frequent. I know I will.

Super fun seasonal drinks!

We didn't need to do much for decor as the facility is so clean and classy with brick walls, exposed beam ceiling in the main hall, a full kitchen, meeting rooms for the wedding party to get ready etc. An outdoor courtyard can be used for the ceremony also although it's along I-35 for traffic noise. We did experience problems with the set up, AV equipment and evening staffing but these issues were addressed satisfactorily when we brought them up to management. We'd definitely recommend this air conditioned barn to any bride and groom.

I would recommend the lobster ravioli myself. The location is in the old Abblebee's but you wouldn't know it when you walk in as they had it so adorably decorated with all the flair. There are picture frames with pieces of Astroturf literally taped or stapled inside them as "art." The TVs still had the manufacturer stickers on the screens, and even the salt shakers looked like they still had the plastic wrapping from Walmart on them. Plastic after thought menus. Plastic plates and bowls. It gave the impression that no one cared about presentation or detail. We arrived at Bella's Italian right at 5:30 and were seated almost immediately, which was the high point of the evening. We ordered a bottle of wine, only to be told they were out, and the replacement we chose was not good. I ordered an espresso martini and it was awful. It tasted like straight vodka and cream with almost no coffee flavor at all. Easily the worst espresso martini I've ever had. Our calamari appetizer came out extremely chewy and unpleasant. On top of that, our waitress was basically nonexistent. After finishing my drink (which I had to force down just to be done with it), I wanted to order a beer. We waited about 20 minutes before she came back to the table. When she did, she wasn't friendly or attentive. Dinner was just as disappointing. My brother ordered the special with chicken and mushroom cream sauce over spaghetti and hated it. My dad had the chicken marsala. The sauce was decent, but the chicken itself was dry. My mom ordered chicken alfredo and said it tasted oddly fishy. The tortellini was the only bright spot. The sauce was flavorful and actually enjoyable. Unfortunately, the chicken parmesan felt like frozen, pre-breaded cafeteria chicken with some sauce and cheese thrown on top. Think Olive Garden, but worse in every single way, and that's Bellas. Overall, this was a one-star experience at best. Poor drinks, bad service, and mostly disappointing food. Based on this visit, I don't see this restaurant lasting long.

The five-course meal, crafted by a remarkably talented chef using a variety of techniques from their farm, was beautifully executed in a surreal indoor-outdoor setting. We arrived on the farm (after our Ford GPS took us a wonky route along a few miles of dirt road--so make sure you stay on paved roads and you won't have trouble--I was told by Kristin, our host and one of the owners, that Google Maps has no problem). I have to share our experience in detail because I feel we discovered a new must-visit experience in the KC area! We arrived at the 30-acre farm, parked in the field, and were greeted by our server who welcomed us warmly and offered us an arrival cocktail to sip while we explored the truly lovely grounds, pond, and nearby goats. After our leisurely stroll, we returned to the dining pavilion and found our seats at the gorgeous (and massive!) live-edge dining table along with a menu specifically for this weekend. Our gracious host Kristen and server brought out our first drink pairing, a minted lime seltzer that was refreshing and light. Our first course arrived--Blue Jade cornbread with arugula, sweet pea salad, and chicken liver paté. The cornbread was unlike any I had before and was absolutely delicious. The sweet pea salad was literally bursting with flavor the peas were so fresh and the chicken liver paté out of this world. Such an interesting flavor profile and combination. The next beverage pairing arrived a short time later as we enjoyed the perfect evening, a blackberry purple basil shrub. This drink was also delicious and refreshing (and save that blackberry for last--what a treat!). The Mangalista pig, we were told, is the "wagyu of pork" and the crisp, tasty, marbled pork chop was excellent. It was served with a beet "kimchi" with fennel root and a sheep cheese dumpling that was creamy and flavorful. Finally, our coffees were served and a dessert of yellow squash cake, lemon honey ice cream with mulberry compote was brought to us. Again, the dish was original, delicious, and a perfect ending to our meal. We can't wait to come back and have try a new menu in the future. Such a perfect evening and the chef has such an exciting vision for hyper-local farm-to-table flavors and dishes.

First of all, be sure not to blink because the sign isn't very visable and the location is unassuming from the outside, abeit a very clean exterior. Walking in, I love the vibe, trendy but not pretentious, grounded yet modern and a fair amount of people but not overflowing. Yessiree Bob, this is my kind of place. Oh and the baristas are patient, kind and willing to offer advice based on your individual tastes. I've been here several times; however, my eating habits preclude me from indulging in anything outside of berries. Do the apple fritters, donuts, muffins and other items look outstanding, of course they do. In fact, my buddy whom I generally meet there has raved how good the pastries are and after living in Austin and trying home made poptarts, I'm still kicking myself for not trying them. However, the path to maintaining a healthy weight and figure is paved in discipline. I must admit they nailed the ambiance. The cement floors are patterned with what looks like dark wood textured tiles and the walls are a warm burgundy, emitting a certain visual warmth. The hanging art amuses me, sometimes it's movie paintings, sometimes its modern art while other times it's eclectic and I've never figured out their rotation, but I appreciate it. The hanging lamps offer a bit of 2010 mod while the open coffee service area proudly displays all of the tools of an expert craftsman. The counter area has a small display case enticing the sweet tooth and the chalk boards give a simplistic view of their menu, but they also offer daily "experiments" that are fun to sample. The first time I came, I tried the Café Au Lait which was very strong, robust and full of lasting flavor. The 12oz amount seemed to be about perfect for my needs. The next time I dropped by I sampled the Dulce de Leche which was a mistake. Why, you might be wondering? Because I've never ordered anything else since then and I always get the 16oz. It's smooth, a little softer on the coffee flavor while balancing it with the strong caramel notes. I know it's probably got more calories than I want, but hey, that's why I'm not eating! They also have some pretty good selection of home ground coffees from places like Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Brazil and other far, far away locations. Come to think of it I don't recall if they have any Hawaiian beans which are pretty trendy now (Kona is a great coffee!!) Oh I forgot to mention they do have a fast wifi but please for the love of God, don't be that geek in the corner pretending to write the great American novel in the corner. That's so.... 2000s.... Overall, this is my favorite coffee shop in Overland Park and it's not even close. Stop on by for the best coffee experience you'll have in the area!
