Went in with a moderate order. 4 drinks, 1 breakfast sandwich. After about 10 minutes I had received 3 of my drinks and my sandwich so I went up to inquire about my fourth drink. The barista thought she had just made it but a guy looked it up and said it was still in que and had been missed. I stepped away to continue waiting. After another 6-7 minutes I went up to inquire again because at least 7 people that came In after me were receiving their drinks and leaving. Yet still... NO ONE was making my drink. I was asked again what it was. At this time, someone finally decided they should make my drink. It took less than a minute. I'm so confused as to why that didn't happen the first time a conversation was had about the missing drink. Not impressed with their customer service at all. I was not in the least upset the first time I was told it was missed. Mistakes happen and I can understand that. For no one to make the drink to rectify the situation after the first conversation is unacceptable. read more

Camp Pendleton Starbucks is a hidden gem. The staff are so friendly and courteous. Even when they're being slammed by a huge line of Marines. There is plenty of seating inside. The atmosphere can either be super quiet or super loud depending on the time of day and if an event is happening. The food is warm and the coffee is delicious. A couple weeks ago I ordered (on the app) an iced white mocha and they gave it to my husband hot so I made him take it back in cause I don't like hot coffee and they remade it fine right? And then today I ordered the same and they made it hot again but he already knew it was supposed to be iced so he told them and they "remade" it but this time I legit just have an iced espresso with milk in it. There was none of the white mocha syrup or whatever flavor comes in a white mocha. Very disappointed since this happened twice for the same drink. read more

This Starbucks is ridiculous! They charge extra for everything, and their excuse is, 'This is not a regular Starbucks, it's a flagship store!' Yes, I am aware of that, but other flagship locations don't charge extra for items that are already included in the menu. Just like other businesses on base, the customer service is subpar. It's an extremely large Starbucks on Camp Pendleton. I went there about 11 am and there was no line. Lots of seating inside. Service was fine. No drive-thru, but plenty of partking. read more

Date of visit: August 31, 2018 Prior to my friend's retirement ceremony today, I hadn't thought to have breakfast... and while the granola bar I'd munched on inside my car on the trip up north quelled my hunger some, I still wanted to get something a bit more filling. Fortunately, there was a Starbucks nearby... I went for a chocolate croissant ($2.95) and a venti-sized ice water - not too long of a wait, and my late breakfast was enough to hold me over until the ceremony ended. Interestingly, the lid for my iced water had that relatively new sipping sprout that doesn't need a straw (but out of habit, I put one in anyway). The service was pretty friendly and moved quickly, especially as there was a long line of Marines and customers getting their grub and caffeine fixes taken care of. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention how surprisingly comfy and spacious this Starbucks is. I took a few moments inside to nosh on my croissant and catch up on my email. Glad to see there's a Starbucks on base that takes care of our Marines, service members, and visitors. read more

I have been Yelping for some time now, I have been exploring all that San Diego County has to offer - particularly when it comes to coffee! This Starbucks is absolutely outstanding! I cannot recall having ever been to any better! The staff are exceptional, the interior is kept clean and classy, and the baristas make every effort to provide the best service they can! Shoutout to Jennifer and Dasani who have been there for quite a while and have been absolutely brilliant! They know what they are doing, they know their customers and they ensure this Starbucks outshines all others! If you ever find yourself on Camp Pendleton, definitely give this Starbucks a try and should you have base access... you will be hard-pushed to find a Starbucks better than this! read more

Let me start by saying leaving reviews normally isn't my thing. Unlike me, my husband isn't aware of the names Starbucks uses for different sizes and asked for a "Large". Then the barista by the name of "Becca" very obviously laughs and mocks him for saying large rather then venti and continues to roll her eyes and sarcastically state "yay another frappe, because they're so fun". This was such an unwelcoming experience and we even felt judge because of the drinks we ordered. The drinks were made poorly too. Maybe if Becca spent less time being rude she'd make better drinks. read more

Starbucks is always good. I am a frequent flyer at them. I also live when they are close to my home. This one is located on base and walking distance from my home. I go to this one for convenience. Though every time I order a sweet cream vanilla cold brew they do not understand it has more than a a little bit of cream in it. Today I was getting starbucks and my daughter went and picked it up. When she brought it home it was cold brew coffee with very little cream. I forgot not to order this drink here. Her pink drink looked more like too much coconut milk. I wish this starbucks was better. read more

Weirdest hours ever, I've even come on a day and time where they're supposed to be open. (As posted hours on their doors) and they've been closed more often than not. They're always out of stuff! Idk whose managing this place but they seriously need to start doing some better inventory. Also I went in the middle of the day once and their whole food display cabinet was empty. So nobody knew what they had available to order for food. There we're about 5 people ahead of me and they told almost every single person they were out of what they wanted to order. I've ordered a caramel macchiato before that had about two drops of actually coffee in it and the rest was milk. read more

Moving to Oceanside and not being able to have my favorite coffee place here made me really sad. So I started to try Starbucks. Their food and drinks are amazing. I currently 6 months pregnant and been craving hot coffee no matter what time of the day it is or how hot the day is. When I order they are super nice and when I start drinking my coffee it doesn't burn my tongue like other coffee places does. I don't have to wait for it to cool down because it's at the perfect temp. read more
