I want to know what I'm getting and not have to guess if I've is free or $1! Or, if they have decaf drip coffee at a coffee shop or not. It's outrageous! I ordered $11 in all iced drinks. And I couldn't' get a cup of ice. Especially when I ordered a $7 drink. You're telling me that you're going to charge me $1 for a cup of ice no matter what size it is because, you didn't put enough ice in my iced XL drink? There needs to be consistency! If I go to Starbucks I know that I can get free ice water or ice with any purchase. If I go to Dunkin Donuts I can get a free cup of ice with any purchase. If I go to McDonald's I get a free cup of ice or ice water with any purchase. You can't tell me that you save so much that you're willing to let consumers never come back over $1! Make every drink 25 more and give me a free cup of ice. And, for goodness sakes have decaf drip coffee. You're a coffee shop! You already got rid of our ice coffee. How greedy is Scooter's coffee?

The energy is always great, service is quick, and drinks are consistently on point. Definitely a staple in our weekend rotation

I wanted to write a review because I worked here for about a month before being suddenly fired…read more The owner is nice, but her husband, who manages everything, created a very uncomfortable work environment. He frequently brought up politics, demographics, and "statistics" at work in ways that felt inappropriate and often came across as biased. It wasn't the kind of environment I expected from a workplace. I personally chose not to engage with these conversations because I was there to work, and I try to keep my personal beliefs separate from my workplace. However, being repeatedly exposed to these types of comments from management made the environment feel unprofessional. I also noticed that he would tell us certain employees had quit, but after speaking with those employees, I learned that was not always what happened. This made me feel like there was a lack of honesty and transparency in how situations were handled. One comment that really stuck with me was when he told me and another young female employee that we'd be prettier if we spoke more intelligently and that men would like us more. We are both very young girls, and that comment was incredibly inappropriate and made us uncomfortable. I was also told that if I came in early every day, I would receive a $1 raise. I did exactly that, and I received the raise on my final paycheck. Just a few days later, I was fired. It was confusing to be recognized with a raise and then immediately let go without being given a meaningful explanation. I was told I was being fired because I supposedly had an attitude with a customer. When I asked what had happened, I wasn't given a clear explanation and was simply told they had decided not to continue my employment. I work hard, take my jobs seriously, and I rarely leave negative reviews because I know everyone is trying their best. I didn't contact them afterward because I felt I had already been treated disrespectfully. After the way I was spoken to and the lack of honest communication, I didn't feel another conversation would have changed anything. As a customer, I also found the food to be average, especially for the price. Before I even worked here, my mom and I had cheesecake from the café on a few different occasions, and every time it had a noticeable freezer-burn taste. For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality. Based on my experience as both an employee and a customer, I would encourage people to support another family-owned café instead.

Finally, a coffee shop with a real Halal options! I'll admit I'm not usually a fan of turkey bacon, but I made an exception here and I'm glad I did. The Turkey Bacon Formaggio with red chili flakes and a touch of pesto was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Starbucks doesn't even come close. The staff was super sweet and offered great suggestions on what to try. Here's what I ordered * 5/5 stars: Iced Pumpkin Latte with oat milk- perfectly spiced and refreshing * 5/5 Stars: Turkey Bacon Formaggio- flavorful cheesy and perfectly balance with all the chili and pesto, * 5/5 Stars: Almond croissant- flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of sweetness The only downside is that they don't have gluten-free options but they're in new, so I'm hopeful they'll expand their menu in the future. What I also loved is that they offer much more than coffee think Boba tea, tea refreshers, smoothie, pastries, sandwiches and dessert a really fun variety overall, this is the place. They rotate creative latte flavors like honey lavender, chocolate cherry, and lemon honey and I am always down to try whatever is new. The espresso itself is mild, which works as a base but I personally wish it had a little more backbone. The iced lavender matcha is my personal standout and I will not be taking questions. They also let you build your own combinations, and a recent banana brown sugar iced latte I dreamed up was exactly as good as it sounds. The food punches above typical coffee shop fare. The Beyond sandwich with its sweet heat chipotle aioli is a genuine win, vegan or not. The brown sugar bacon gouda is a household favorite for my family. The baked treats are decent but honestly priced a touch above what they deliver. They are the only coffee shop in the area so the pricing reflects that reality more than the competition. The space is your standard coffee shop Joanna Gaines-esque rustic, warm and comfortable. They feature local art on the walls which I love, though I wish they rotated it more frequently. Easy way to keep things fresh and support the local creative community more actively. Staff is kind, genuinely engaging, and this is a queer safe space, which matters and is always worth naming out loud.
