This is a great store. I go to it regularly because it's on my way to work, and Starbucks is my preferred coffee shop in the morning because their breakfast food is superior to other coffee shops. The service is good and the product is always high quality. My big complaint is the constant upsales. "Would you like to add an extra shot?" "No." "Would you like to add avocado spread to that today?" "No." "Are you SURE you don't want to add a pumpkin scone later? They're really good, and you can freeze them later." "NO." One or two offers is fine, but going so far to push pastries so I can freeze them for later? Please stop. At the Caldwell Blvd Nampa, ID Starbucks location: A few months ago, we drive up to order and during that time the barista wasn't clear at the drive up board, repeatedly. We decided to drive up to the window; the barista and her supervisor or coworker gave us an attitude and was mean to us. They didn't try to understand why we drove up and previously "yelling" for us to not drive up. No one was behind us or in front of us. They gave us green tea fraps with NO sugar in it. We drove up because my sister talked sort of soft voiced and also the barista's voice was unclear so it made for a unclear order. History on why we drove up.... My sister was still having residual issues with her speech, she had a stroke a year ago. The barista ladies didn't seem to try to understand our reason before having the attitudes at the window and being unkind after taking our money. Rude, ill mannered, unprofessional, and poor ethics. Its disappointing, sadly wished they had integrity in their work and better customer service behaviors. They should try to be more understanding and more open to their customers, there might be a valid reason for the customer's decisions. Usually I love Starbucks and this site has been my go to but as of lately they keep messing up the order and I mean every single day for the last week and a half. I'm not sure what's going on but I won't be returning. I have thrown away almost every single drink because it's not right. My husband went to the drive through to pick up my order. They advised him and were insistent that I placed the order at the wrong location. Insisted he show them screenshots of app since I wasn't there to show them. He showed them that the location was correct, this location is saved in my favorites as I go there often. They finally looked at his messages and made the drinks, but if you notice the Hot Chocolate wasn't made correctly and they didn't apologize for their rudeness. He was very frustrated as I was telling them they were wrong, provided proof, and the staff continued to insist that they didn't have the order and I sent it to the wrong location!! Where is the customer service??? After this they shut off their online ordering. Which in the past when I have inquired about this being shut off was advised this is controlled by corporate. I called corporate and verified this is controlled by each location. If this location wasn't in my driving route I certainly wouldn't go there again. read more

These were the most Starbucks employees I've ever seen in my life. They did not greet one single customer the entire time I was there. Ordered decaf in drive through...received caffeinated. Paid in cash and she did not give correct change. Shorted me $1. I inquired about it and she gave me the $1, but didn't apologize for giving incorrect change. She just said, "I'll take it out of the tip jar," then shut the window abruptly without further comment, no goodbye, no have a nice day. She looked very suspicious like she was caught red-handed trying to take $1 on a cash order. or perhaps she cancelled the order to picket the $6, after realizing it was cash, and did not tally the change correctly in her head. This is one of the friendliest Starbucks around, and they remain upbeat even when it's crowded. And this store gets very crowded regularly. I try to order on the app, and my drink comes out quickly, if it is not already up when I arrive. They typically get my drink correct, and I appreciate that they try to chat people up and know their customers. Location is a bit tricky to get in and the flow of the drive-thru can be difficult to navigate. This Starbucks has by far been the WORST Starbucks I've ever been to. You know I'm not one to complain ever, but this just makes me want to die. First time I went I ordered a matcha latte with light ice and brown sugar pumps, they filled my cup all the way with the ice and made the dullest matcha ever. The second time I got a double smoked bacon sandwich my bacon was literally raw like raw. I was just in shock. First time I've been to this Starbucks after traveling all over and being to many, this is by far the worst one I have had. I went to order my drink (grande) and it was 3/4 full. I also noticed that the drink came with whip cream and I've only really order two drinks from all Starbucks in which it never has come with whip cream. I told her I didn't want whip cream and when she grabbed it from me she stated under her breathe that this was standard for This drink. Weather it is or was I don't need and attitude from her and making me feel like it was an inconvenience for her to help me fix a 5 coffee. To top it all off they add just milk to my drink to feel up the cup in which tasted like only hot milk. So not only was she rude they made my drink in poor taste. Need to work on some things in this place and learn that in this time in our lives people buying and staying loyal to Starbucks by buying 5 dollar coffees all the time 6 days a week, they should be more understanding and accommodating. Our little local Starbuck's is amazing! I am always treated well and the coffee is always up to par and hot, fresh, delicious. I waited around for quite a while before ever getting noticed at the counter. There was nobody else in line. Employees seemed like they were not happy working there. No smiles, no greeting, just a very exhausting "can I get you something." The grande latte is about 5 inches tall, and after thinking this is the lightest coffee I have ever had realized that they filled the cup maybe 2.5 inches or about halfway, and the rest of the cup with milk froth. I was never asked if I wanted any flavors or any options. Not only did I get half a latte, it was the worst latte I have ever had in my life. It tasted like water. I will stay away from this place. The manager always manages to be the rudest person there. They called out my order and I stood there patiently waiting since I ordered two drinks. Then, instead of her noticing that of course I must be waiting for another drink or I wouldn't be standing there like an idiot, she rudely says have a nice day. I raise my brow at her and don't move then she rudely says can I get you anything else? I tell her that I'm just waiting on my other drink. Her response is- it will be out just be patient... ugh I was already being patient but I guess it is rude of me to think that when my first drink is made that my next drink isn't going to come out 2 or 3 people later. I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks in general, but I can appreciate a good one, and this one definitely is not it. I moved here about 6 months ago from a place that had privately owned coffee shops everywhere, so needless to say I got spoiled with great drinks. Out of a lack of those same kinds of shops here I started going to this Starbucks. The first couple times I went here my drinks were tasty, consistent and the service wasn't fantastic, but not poor enough to complain. After that there was absolutely no consistency, the drinks became horrible each time and the employees at the drive through window were awkward, unfriendly and borderline rude.
