Stopped in today before a job interview with my daughter to grab a quick breakfast sandwich and couple of drinks the person at the register apparently didn't ring in my mango cold foam and the shift supervisor Billie made me go back into the back of a long line to pay for it before he would add it to my drink making me late for my interview. He was incredibly rude about it. I told him I was in a hurry and he said he was busy making other of their drinks and didn't have time to get to it. I need to get in line. I've been in customer service for over 20 years. I would never treat somebody that spends their hard earned money in my restaurant that way I am very disappointed I used to be a regular and now I won't be back. read more

My barista might have been newer, and she was so kind, friendly and smiling. I tried a cortado for the first time, and I must say it is perfect. So creamy and yummy! It was quite busy, but the baristas kept up. Pleasant atmosphere and I will visit again when in town. Thank you so much. read more

I haven't done one of these in a while, but I felt like I needed to say something. I just grabbed my coffee from this place--super early in the morning--and I get that it's not always easy to be cheerful first thing. But for a lot of people, you might be their first interaction of the day, and that really sets the tone. That's why it was disappointing to be met with such a negative attitude from Rebecca. It honestly made the whole experience feel a bit off and kind of put a damper on my morning. On a brighter note, I want to give a shoutout to the rest of the team in there--you guys were quick, friendly, and made my drink just right. That kind of energy really does go a long way. This Starbucks is straight-up embarrassing. Easily one of the worst I've ever been to, and that's saying something. I ordered two hot breakfast items through the app and showed up five minutes after the ETA. I ask a barista where my food is - she says they're "behind." Fine. But then I look over and see three other employees huddled around a phone at the coffee bar like they're watching TikToks. Not moving. Not helping. Just posted up. The one person who's appears to supposed to be handling food? Now taking new orders at the register. No urgency, no system, no clue. After standing in the store for 10 full minutes, I finally notice my food has been sitting on the counter by the oven the whole time. Completely ignored. No one called my name, no one checked on it, no one cared - besides a "it's coming, we're behind on food". So not only was my food cold, but I got to enjoy the added bonus of watching a full team of employees clock in just to loiter and look busy. It's giving group project with zero effort. If you're looking for a Starbucks that respects your time, knows how to run a basic mobile order, or has even the slightest grip on what customer service means -- this ain't it. Do yourself a favor and skip this location. And there is no parking besides limited street parking full of potholes. read more

My drinks are always super good! The baristas are all SUPER NICE!!!!!! It's a nice atmosphere as well it's calm and has a chill vibe!

In the past this location has been super slow getting your orders ready but it lately they have been doing very well. I don't know if all Starbucks have ramped up their mobile ordering systems but here they have a separate computer screen to check orders coming in and a separate bar for pickups so as not to confuse in house orders. I visit this store more than any other local Starbucks because it's on my regular commute. I'm there at least once or twice a week. I've had a few humdrum experiences here, no more or less so than at any other Starbucks. But I wanted to say that I've had a few extraordinary moments here that make it the location I prefer to visit whenever possible. Today I brought in my own thermal container to fill with coffee. The fellow working asked me how many ounces it holds. I honestly didn't know. Twelve? Sixteen? So he sold me twelve ounces to pour into it. I took the cup and transferred the contents to the thermos. He asked if that filled it up. No, only half. "Well," he said, "let me get you another cup to fill to the rim. Nobody wants a half-full thermos." So, through his generosity, we both learned that I was carrying a 24-ounce container. Next time I want to fill it up I'll know that it hold a venti's worth of liquid. I went away with knowledge, coffee, a cookie, and a very warm heart. I'm sorry I didn't get your name Mr. Super Starbucks guy, but you really made my day. read more

It's great. If you just order on the app ahead of time and go right to the mobile order pickup area, they always have it ready. And they're friendly. I love them in the morning. My only complaint is that the side door (exit only) is really hard to open with your arm. I know. Doors are meant to be open with hands. But sometimes i'm holding two drinks one for me one for my partner and I try to do the elbow thing and push it open with my arm. It's simply impossible ive tried a billion times and I always have to shove the one drink under my arm so I can use my hand to open it. I know it's minor that's why I give five stars and blame no one for it. But I always imagine myself dropping the drinks and they splatter across the entire floor and I fall down between the doorway and the other drink goes flying.. it's never happened but I'll update here if it does. read more

Little disappointed. I asked for a Caramel Apple spice. The cashier didn't seem know what it as exactly but he found it on the POS and called it a beverage. The barista making the drinks got the apple juice part right but I don't think she put Caramel sauce in the cup. It looked like she steamed the apple juice, pumped in Caramel SYRUP (instead of cinnamon dolce syrup) then poured it directly into the cup. She topped it off with whipped cream and didn't drizzle on Caramel sauce over the whipped cream either. Instead she sprinkled cinnamon powder over the whipped cream. It tasted weird. I did not want to correct her because she seemed to struggle keeping up with orders but boy I paid for an expensive cup of weird tasting warm apple juice. What a shame most baristas and most Starbucks don't know how to make a caramel apple spice. When I was a Starbucks barista, that was a popular drink. Now, I bought my own espresso machine so I can make my own at home. No more chances, Starbucks. read more

I love this Starbucks! Mainly I love it because it is extremely close to South Lyndale Liquors and Kowalski's. I mean, let's face it, there are Starbucks everywhere. You get what you get. It is always good, yet the same. Here, it is always friendly (agreed Heather) and you can walk to both Kowalski's and the liquor store with only one park-job. Maybe even drop off or pick up some dry cleaning at Mulberry's. Plan on spending some time there though. Friendly, but not extremely efficient. If I could, I would live on this corner. However, there aren't any houses. Imagine how many Starbucks drinks I would get if there were houses here! read more

Worst service ever! First, it literally took 7 min for them to take my order of one light roast and pretzels. Then, the genius behind the counter spelled 'Glen' 3 different ways, causing the like of 1 to turn into 8. After my 10 min wait, I was told they were out of light roast and pretzels. I was asked if there was anything else and I said, no just give me a gift card. They asked me to wait back in line and they would. Oh you mean the line that is now 12 people long? No fucking way. Is everyone leaving reviews friends with the staff here or what? First of all, I've never received great(or good) customer service here at all. I've never been greeted with enthusiasm either. I've actually gone in a couple times where I've stepped up to the register and the cashier just stared at me without saying a word until I ordered. Half the staff doesn't even talk. The only person I've seen or heard in a good enthusiastic mood is, I'm assuming the manager. There's also always more than a handful of straight up obnoxious people with their obnoxious children. It's like a bad daycare at this place. Hello...people come here to relax and work or study, not to listen to your stupid kids have tantrums while you play on your iPhone. My local Starbucks. I will go out of my way to get here over going to a Caribou, Dunn Bros., etc. The staff is always friendly and make sure they have a drink order correct, unlike other coffee shops that could churn you through and not give you what you ordered. While this is my go-to 'Bucks, I only give it three stars because it can be VERY crowded and the lack of parking is terrible. If you show up between 9-10am you will wait in line for a while. The staff does a good job of working through everyone, but there is only so much they can do. Leaving a bit earlier and passing through between 8-9am makes all the difference. As for parking, there is limited street parking but when coming from the west you are really limited to parking only on Northbound Lyndale Ave. Coming from the east you can park on Westbound 54th St. as well. However, there are three or four other businesses in the strip mall, which can congest the available spaces. The Kowalski's and Walgreens nearby have lots, but those are 'park at your own risk.' Come for the friendly staff, but only at the right times, and then leave so I can take your parking space! read more

Best Starbucks I've been to. Staff is sincere. Location is really convenient. A lot of regulars who know each other. Only complaint is that Starbucks Corporate remodeled it a while back and installed the LOUDEST FURNITURE ever. Every time a chair gets pulled out everybody cringes. read more

The one thing that makes this Starbucks stand out from the rest is the staff! Happiest, most friendly people I've met. Especially in the early morning! Even though they do a great job of getting people in and out quickly, be cautious of early morning wait times. Conveniently located on the corner of 54th and Lyndale and right off Minnehaha Parkway. They have something for everyone and it's not over the top sweet like Caribou. You will also find really great artwork on their walls from local artists that's changed constantly. It is a regular Starbucks with the great tasting coffee. I always bring my own cup to get a 10 cent cup discount. This shop does not discount for that. The place was full of kids and it was very noisy. The bathrooms were very dirty. I think the two young teenage girls working did not ever think of cleaning anything.
