This is an amazing Starbucks location in the heart of Central Oahu in the Town Center of Mililani. Great customer service, baristas, and ambian ce. My go to drinks are the Mango Dragonfruit refresher and Hibiscus Berry refresher. I also go with the iced Green Tea and mix it up with iced Black Tea and iced Passion Tea. I give this Starbucks location 5 perfect stars! If you have not tried this Starbucks location yet.... I highly recommend you give this Starbucks location a visit or two. I work in the Town Center so I can honestly say I'm at this Starbucks location at least 3 times a week. More often than not, I'm ordering on the app which makes it super convenient when you're on the go. Right about the time I start work which is like 8am it's always busy, of course. I know this can't possibly be the Starbucks location' s fault but I took a star off because the app isn't always reliable. It'll crash or give wrong info at times. So I've had a couple instances where I've ordered an item but the actual location doesn't even have that item available... And that other time that their mobile app printer was down and backed up orders for like 20m. But seriously, get the app together! Anyways, I like all the employees, and everything Starbucks has to offer. It's a huge plus that this location has a bathroom too. And it's a huge corner spot so there's lots of room to study or just chill out. I love that there's 2 doors, so when the entrance gets over crowded with people waiting in line you can just exit through the other door. If you're one to collect mugs & things, there's lots of that too. They've got cute decorated ones depending on the season and they also have expensive ones that warm your liquids or whatever lol. Not only do I come for the coffee in the morning, or the other nik naks they have but I am always stopping by in the afternoon as well for lunch. There's a good variety of sandwiches and boxed items that might make a nice, healthy, on-the-go snack. So all in all this Starbucks is great, I just need the app to work better than it does to make my Starbucks experience even more amazing. read more

If you know me personally, you know that I'm a coffee-holic. It is an absolute must every morning BEFORE I do anything else. If I don't, I'm a total mess! Lol. I used to frequent the Waipio location, because it was the most convenient location on the way to work, but since changing jobs, this has been my go-to location on the way to my new job. It's literally right across the street, so very convenient. I really like this location because the staff is always so friendly and very efficient. I've opted to drive to this location rather than the closer location to my home on the weekends and on days off, because of the better service. I don't enjoy waiting for my coffee for more than 15 minutes...that's just unacceptable. This location has no more than a 5 minute wait time, no matter how busy it is...and if you're a regular here, you know that this place gets really busy at times, with a line going out the door. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks location. I don't even live in mililani but I will drive from pearl city to mililani in the morning before work and then drive to Kapolei. The employees here are phenomenal and their coffee taste best compared to other Starbucks I've been to. Bre is usually there in the mornings I go and she always makes my drinks perfect! I would like to say that this is one of my favorite places. I can personally say that what makes me come to this particular location more and more is the customer service. I feel that the workers are genuine, sincere, and want you to have a great day. Awhile back, I encountered some hostile service with some workers and I am quite glad they aren't there anymore. One time I got my drink and there weren't any straws on what I call the self help table and I asked this girl barista and she gave me a sarcastic head nod saying no and gave me a straw. Another time, I noticed she only thanked older looking adults and when my drink came along she never even acknowledged me but we had eye contact. Again, I am glad she's not there anymore. I feel that the quality in making drinks is another key part that shares passion with the customer. I know and have faith that my drink will be right because every worker that I've encountered with seems like they are knowledgeable in making that perfect drink. I understand that if they take awhile they are just trying to get your drink correct. Every morning, I try to beat the high school rush because students come in around 7:30 ish and it becomes like a mad house, especially on Fridays. Note: it helps when you go early to reduce your morning commute to work. I've learned that the hard way. I really love this location. Coming here is a hit or miss for me lately so I've ended up using their 'curbside' pick-up option because whenever I go in and walk up to the pick-up counter grabbing my mobile order the employees can be inattentive at times. The last time I waited about 10-15 minutes but the thing was the girl gave me my food items and said they were waiting on my drink. Of all the wonderful, hardworking and dedicated Starbucks throughout the island, the team at the Mililani town center is by far my favorite location to visit. I feel well taken care of when I order my drink or wait for my mobile order. I always order a passion tango lemonade with light ice and when I get it, I don't have to grab it, they hand it to me. Small things like that make me return. I think her name is Raven, but she is the kindest and sweetest girl I've ever come across and I'm so glad she works there. We need more Raven's in our life who genuinely connect with their customers. We frequent multiple Starbucks locations, the majority between the Mililani Mauka location and Mililani Town Center. By far Mililani Mauka is friendlier, drinks are made to order via the mobile app and there are never bad attitudes and frowns here. Mililani Town Center is the hells version of Starbucks. 1. When you walk in there are no welcomes or smiles. 2. Drinks are not made to order through the mobile app. 3. As other Yelpers have reported, drinks are heavy with ice. Rip Off when you are spending hard earned money. 4. If you dare ask the barista to remake your drink, be prepared to get lectured and even have another barista whisper to say who knows what. 5. Support other Starbucks and receive better customer service and drinks made as ordered. YOU WILL NOT FIND THAT AT THE MILILANI TOWN CENTER. One positive here... There are a few baristas that deserve mention and do represent what Starbucks should strive to achieve 24/7. Military Mom Kelly, Amber, Jenna and Jake are fantastic. Great barista's, friendly service and if you're a regular they know your name and drink. We frequent there several times per week and this is by far one of the best Starbucks I've ever been in on the planet. The other day we walked in and my son already had a drink waiting on him. They saw us getting out of the car and made a venti java chip frap no whip with drizzle and had it ready on the counter. As I walked up they said, "Hi Eric! venti 5 shot americano or trenta black tea unsweet today?" Blew me away. I wish every store put this much emphasis on customer service. Plenty of parking available and there's a public restroom that usually pretty clean. Starbucks Coffee, a kind of place that is pretty good at best. It's also a nice place to get something warm to drink if you're starting to feel cold. I always adored their smoothies. I stopped after that because I actually had started to love drinking coffee or hot chocolate. I always wanted to stay cheap when going there. For coffee purposes, I drink that because I wanted something hot on cold days and I have actually started to drink coffee a little bit to kind of a wake up call. My wife and I frequent this place to get our fix when we have errands to run. On today's agenda, we used the mobile order because of its convenience and ease of use. I showed up to this location at the scheduled time to find my drinks ready but not my food. It's appeared the food warmer station was busy so I waited in the store for a few minutes. It took ten 10 minutes for the barista (Kaitlyn) to ask me if I was waiting on something. This is unacceptable in the Starbucks world of expectations! She looked at me surprised but offered to help me look on the bar of other orders. However, it did take a few minutes before she asked what I did order. In her response, she did say that someone else may have taken my order but mistake. In my opinion, this is not my problem. We pay for a service...so we should get what we pay for! The person at the food warming station was able to make a few other orders and give his friends dining in some food before I was able to get my food. He apologized but it was too late by then. For a simple mobile order, I was in this store for over twenty minutes. There were other employees (Liz and Jeff amongst others) that seemed to wonder why I there as well but don't offer to assistance in anyway. Mililani Town Center has a very efficient Starbucks. From order to drink in hand, I'd say this is probably fastest in Mililani because there's more staff and no drive thru. This location opens later than the one near the Foodland and 24 Hour Fitness and has an easier parking situation. However finding a seat can be tough here versus the Mauka location or the other spot since this is right across from the high school and in a pretty central location. There's not much waiting room for your drink sometimes so I tend to order via the Starbucks app and pick up my mobile order from the barista. What a breeze! Drinks I like: -Short drinks (smaller than a tall and still the drinks I love) -Hot teas (Emperor's Cloud [green], Peach [non-caffeinated]) -Latte with honey and coconut milk -Unsweetened green tea with strawberry juice -Matcha green tea latte -Haven't had these but since I like tea, I Googled it and found these off-menu drinks for next time (http://www.marieclaire.com/food-cocktails/a10284/starbucks-secret-menu-teas/) plus, I know there are tons more combos and since I'm a gold star card member, I guess I'll be back to get my 125 stars for that next free drink. ;) read more

I've been to this particular Starbucks a few times now, but only been checking in to my yelp app just recently. Imagine that. Like most Starbucks here in Hawaii and around the globe, you can find your favorite drinks and coffees, while hanging out doing homework or simply read a book! I've always loved Starbucks, especially for the general ambiance of it being somewhere to go to just hang out and they play music here. It's like a mixture of a lounge, coffee shop, and a library that just is a favorite meet up place for those who love Starbucks, it's coffee, frappuchinos, and other assorted drinks. While I stopped drinking actual coffee back in December 2012, I'll still come to Starbucks to have their iced teas and ice tea lemonades, among other drinks. My favorite flavors are green tea and the black teas. I also indulge in the frappuchinos as much as I should. Favorites include double chocolate chip frappuchino and strawberries and creme frappuchino, but I'm guessing that they're not currently available anymore. They once were back in the early 2010's and it was a good time to have a frappuchino. These days, I'm more health conscious than ever before, but still can't resist an occasional frappuchino once in a while to get the edge off. The overall experience here at Starbucks is well worth it. I can kill a good half of the day sitting here and working (aka writing yelp reviews or writing my on and off first novel). It's nice that Starbucks has free fast and reliable wifi and it's generally air conditioned. Starbucks is my go to place when I want to hang out, no matter which location I go to. This Mililani town center location isn't any different. It's the same anywhere you go. Same decor, same great customer service, and just the ambiance of being like smooth jazz that keeps me coming back for their good drinks and occasional snacks. While libraries are great, they don't have fast wifi, lol. This particular Starbucks location is located conveniently at the Mililani Town Center at 95-1249 Meheula Parkway in Mililani town. It's next to the Consolidated theaters Mililani 14 Plex, so you can see a movie after getting your daily fix here at Starbucks or whenever you need a break from studying. They take credit cards, so that's always a good thing. The prices here are pretty good, as far as consistency in all Starbucks - at least those locations in Hawaii. Probably cheaper than a trenta size on the mainland USA. $3.25 for that but a venti frappuchino can set you back a good $6.25 if you are not careful. They have seasonal deals too. The service here is often nice and very professional. I have always expected nothing but the very best from the staff here at Starbucks, either here or elsewhere on the island. The coffee shop is very clean and I'm glad that they don't kick anybody out for just sitting around and working diligently at a table without having to buy anything. Whether it's is using their Wi-Fi or just chilling out, you're pretty cool to stay there. There is plenty of outlets to charge our mobile devices, which is also really a lifesaver to a lot of people who are dependent on these things. For what's it's worth, spotting a Starbucks on the road is very economical and definitely something to consider when you're traveling or just out and about. It's great place to just hang out and do whatever, except sleeping. Wow Starbucks drinks and other assorted desserts can be pricey, once in a while is definitely OK on the pocketbook and your stomach. I need to tell myself that. 4.0 stars for the food and drinks. 4.5 stars for the ambience and great Wi-Fi service. 4.5 stars for just the general overall excellence. Can't go wrong with Starbucks! Your average Starbucks location... chairs, tables, couches, and outlets to plug in electronic devices. This location is a decent size and you don't feel claustrophobic. The AC is COLD (I LOVE cold AC!) and this place is clean. The restrooms are clean as well. The baristas are friendly and efficient. Usually to get my drink correct it's hit or miss, it depends on the barista, but I've never had an issue at this location. Prices are comparable to other Starbucks locations. Stopped by yesterday to get a coffee, noticed that I passed two people coming out with those giant coffee take-out box sets. I like to drink Redeyes (espresso shot topped off with brewed coffee). The barrista apologized because they had to brew new coffee (the take-out folks had cleaned them out). She discounted my drink (charged for brewed coffee and comped the espresso shot) and asked me to have a seat for a few minutes. While the coffee was brewing they got pretty slammed for a few. After things calmed down, I went to check on my coffee, and they gave me a free drink coupon because I had to wait longer than expected. Great customer service! They've got my vote! read more

Terrible service. Manager Tyler... I wish you were here now. 4:20 pm, Sunday, 6 Sep, 2015: a morbidly obese young Caucasian woman was at register #2 taking orders. I approached and she said, "Hi, how's your day going?", or words to that effect. I stated all's well aside from the increasing prices here (Starbucks). She stated, "Welcome to America". I'm a 20 year retired Navy Man. I did not take well to that and replied "i think i've been here longer than you." She went on to state with her worldly experience that "it's that way everywhere" in a tone that angered me. I made my final reply of, "No, it's not. Japan is less expensive." Then I left with Black Card and usual $3 tip in hand. You had better lose this attitude fast. I'm pushing 50 years old and will NOT be treated that way by ... anyone in the customer service industry. Where did "Sir" or "Ma'am" go? Are we, or this Town Center branch, in such an informal, rude way that I should pay $5 for a coffee and receive no gratitude or respect ?? I am such a fan of all Starbucks. I am a fan of coffee. Also a fan of cute pastries and cafe food. This one, I did not have a good experience with. Drove to Mililani to get my Starbucks with the bf which was such a mistake. They were super friendly, but they got my order wrong. I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and a coffee. The lady behind me gets her order of coffee and her bagel first. I think to myself, ... Ok, clearly they don't toast in the order it was received...mine comes out a few minutes later. We drive back home and I open the package and realize...I have a blueberry bagel. I hate blueberries. We drive back to a different Starbucks to get the plain bagel. I've coming to this Starbucks for about 7 years now. The staff is always extremely friendly and the Manager Michael makes it a priority to get this staff to get to know the customers on a personal level. The drinks are consistent and if there is ever a mix-up or your drink does not come out right, they WANT to make your drink again. During my undergraduate days I would come here to study during the week. There is always ample seating. However, If you come here around 2-3PM during the week, the place is filled with High School kids because the High School is literally across the street. I come to this location on my way to the bus some mornings...it isn't my regular location, however, it does come in handy when I am on my way to work and need a little caffeine boost. On several occasions, the line has been super long...waiting almost 15 minutes to place an order and receive my drink. Granted, I am trying to do that at a 7:45AM, but wow! I tend to order the same thing every time...2 iced coffees, both sweetened, both with Breve. My only twist is that one of them needs to be "light" on the breve. Good enough...but only at this location have I been asked to just put in the half and half my self (barista pointing to the carafe of half & half on the bar by the door). WHAT? Really?? I must say that I do like that they have one of my favorite barista's there (Hi, Century!). She always knows how to make a great iced coffee. Wish I could get the same service consistently at all locations, but I guess I don't live in UTOPIA. PS...What is up with the inconsistent brewing? Won't come back to this location. I was in line and this lady with a cane walked up, her name was rose, the gal behind the counter started yelling at her say "get in line rose, get in line. It wasnt just to tell her there was a line... Everyone in line said go ahead but the little old lady got embarrassed and walked back to her seat until no one was in line anymore. The employee was just beyond rude. I couldn't believe it. Then went rose walked back up to the counter when no one was there and the employee just ignored her. There might have been an underlying story but from what I saw, I was appalled. No matter what, employees should be respectful. If she was a regular customer and they had isses with her, that may have been the case, they should pull her aside and talk with her rather than yelling at her in front of the entire store. Im not a coffee drinker but I love the smell of fresh roasted coffee in the air. I can appreciate their abundance of choices for drinks, flavors, and such. Has anyone actually calculated how many different combinations are available just with the "regular" flavors? but I digress. Quick coffee. Even better when there is a drive-thru attached to the establishment but sometimes I debate if it is faster to just park and run in, rather than wait in the drive-thru. So I dont drink coffee, what am I doing at a coffeehouse? I love their iced teas and the ambiance is great.
