Idk bout y'all but I always need my coffee perfect. And this store did me justice. Staff are friendly and kind. There's plenty of good seating available and there's a drive-thru if you're in a rush! Stop by! Don't forget to leave a tip for the baristas!

Brand new Starbucks!!! All your normal Starbucks items, however this location is HUGE inside, so much so that it seems empty, they could definitely add more chairs or better yet slap a fire place right in the middle and decorate the place to match Yosemite.

Hazelnut shaken espresso, add vanilla cream cold foam. Too much oat milk and they forgot to add vanilla sweet cream cold foam.

I just can't wait until the workers here get the drinks right. Today at the drive through they gave me the wrong size again. It's either the size is wrong or the drink is incorrectly made. Usually I'll just take it and try to be understandable because I get it sometimes mistakes happens especially when they're busy however this is happening way too often and I come here almost everyday so today I kindly let the gentleman at the window know that they had the size wrong, and so they made me another drink but this time the size is correct but the drink is not. I'll just tried again another day.

These employees deserve a raise! Super friendly and quick! They take the time to get to know you and are super welcoming. Ive been working remotely in their lobby for the past week and I've witnessed countless encounters with an uncooperative customer, and they've handled it well. Not many customers are educated on the California supply chain shortage, and these employees cannot control whether they are out of Java chips or impossible breakfast sandwiches. Also, they cannot control how many employees order through the app and how many order through the cafe especially with little labor. We need to give these employees credit for working so hard and fast to get us a cup of coffee. If you are running late to work or school, do not order 10/15 minutes before your shift starts, that is not their problem especially if you're running late to work. If you haven't worked customer service or worked with difficult customers yourself, then please be mindful and do not take your anger out on minimum wage employees.

Staff is friendly and very personable! Shop is very clean and Staff manages to get my crazy order right every time as opposed to the other Starbucks in town that messes it up and has a rude staff. Definitely recommend for your coffee needs. read more

Hi all, I am a student, and was pulling an all niter, with my friend at UC Merced, and we really needed some coffee. We went to the 24 hour drive through Starbucks, and wow, it worked out great. Gave us both a break from hitting the books, and the coffee was super strong, and good. We also got some cookies, which were heated for us. With coffee, to die for! We got some scones to go, and crammed for the rest of the night. Any time of day or night, the coffee you need is just a car drive away. read more

I come here with my coworkers on our breaks. It is in a nice location and has fast and friendly service. The coffee is traditional Starbucks, so nothing out of the regular. It is a cool, hip Starbucks that has a nice patio area. read more

I do not understand how Starbucks will modify drinks to specific temperatures and all this other customization, as to why I am still charged for a full pump chai instead of just milk and an added pump of chai for flavor. Will not be coming back to this specific Starbucks again, and will reconsider all Starbucks moving forward. An extra $1 every day for taking product out of my drink is ridiculous. read more

Ordered on the app went in and my food was ready but my drink wasn't. Took them 10 minutes to make my drink ( mind you it was slow) then when it was made it sat there for 5 min without being poured into the cup. When I finally received my drink my food was cold and my frap had been watered down. Been there before and it was great but I guess the workers today didn't seem to care enough for the customers that they started doing other side jobs instead and eventually disappeared. Never going to this location again! read more

I go to this Starbucks almost exclusively as I live within walking distance. I have never had a bad cup of joe there and every barista has been polite and friendly. One barista in particular Ashley I believe her name is, is just extremely sweet and super nice, always smiling, (not to mention beautiful) sorry couldn't resist, LOL! read more

This is a good location for the chain. Great place to study if you are a UC Merced group and a gold member. There isn't too much to say about this place because Starbucks are pretty consistent across the board, but this is one of my favored few. I also love the promenade area for hanging out with friends; it has a prime hang location. read more

This is my very favorite Starbucks! I have been to a lot of them and this is the best. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is nice. On the very few occasions that my drink was not made correctly, the barista will make up for it by giving me a free drink or upgrading my drink size. The mobile app for payment is also great! I never need my wallet. Love this place! read more

Not impressed!!! I was at Starbucks yesterday in the drive thru with 20 other cars waiting to get a cool drink. I noticed numerous signs to try the new old fashioned grilled cheese sandwich .. Sounds good to me I hadn't had any lunch. I order our drinks and ask for the sandwich after a long pause the lady says.. We don't have any!! Really Starbucks can't produce two pieces of bread and a slice of cheese????at lunch time no less??? She didn't offer and substitute or any suggestions .. The day before they were out of banana bread as well .... Twice bit once shy... I will not go there again ... Hello Panera bread!!! read more

Out of all the Starbucks location in Merced, I found this place to be the best if you want to sit in and study. It's located in a more safe part of town and you are surrounded with many college students. It definitely will make you study longer given so many people here are in the same boat suffering together . read more

I'm a big fan of Starbucks but my parents just went with my aunt and uncle to this location and they had a weird experience. They just wanted 4 small coffees. The barista told them they ran out and it would take half an hour for them to make coffee! I've never heard of it taking this long! she could just done four pour overs and it would've been 5 minute wait. Then when they were paying, she didn't have change so walked over next door to another business to get change. Starbucks makes so much money how do they not have change? Really weird. read more

This is by far my favorite Starbucks in town. The staff are very friendly and know us by name...even when they see us around town. It's clean and the sitting area is kept comfortable...not cramped. My drink is made just the way I like it pretty much every time. (I'd be lying if I said they were "perfect".) I definitely recommend this Starbucks! read more

The barista was nice but my soy iced vanilla latte was messed up. She gave me whole milk instead. Since I'm lactose intolerant, I was clearly not pleased. I get it your store was busy so I would not blame the staff entirely but cmon starbucks, with the price of your drinks at least try a little harder in making the correct drinks and a decent tasting one at that read more

Yosemite and Paulson SB is great. Friendly baristas and always great attitudes. Only drawback is the seating. Not quite sure what SB was thinking when it got the weird shape tables and packed them in. If you're looking to grab a coffee and chill, good luck. Students bring outside food, their laptops and stay all day. I've had to leave many times because there is no place to sit. Warmer weather means I can go sit outside. read more

I've been to this starbucks. I'm a big fan of coffee in general, but I love the vibe of this coffee house. Coffee is always quick, the staff is pleasant, and the music is so nice. Always something a little new. The bathrooms are clean, and there are never lines for them. When It's hot, I get a frap, when its cold, and simple coffee of the day, usually a pikes place. They have wi-fi, which is free and quick. Highly recommend this coffee place. read more

Paul L you are a friend Aaron's F! Aaron is the one who screwed the store over! Jeff L was a great manager. Now that he left Starbucks the store service has gone down hill. If you get on Aaron's good side he will give you free drinks just like his girlfriend did that Jeff fired. My family is boycotting this store that HAD the best tasting drinks in town. Some of their best employees are leaving now. Seth, that blond hair girl with great smile. The girl that opens a lot said Aaron is a con man! She is nice if you get her on a good day. The quality of the coffee here is above average (4 stars). The quality of tea is below average (3 stars). The location is great but the parking can be a bit uncomfortable if you come on the days when the UC students are in session (they park their cars here to catch the free bus to the campus). The service is excellent (5 stars). It's the usual high standard of customer service that keeps this place quite busy. read more

I'd originally given this Starbucks a 5-star rating after my first few visits there, but the last few have been a very different experience. They seem to be understaffed most of the time and the poor employees are running ragged trying to keep up. They're doing their best to remain pleasant, which is why they're still at 4-stars, but the service has slowed down immensely. read more

Waited 30 minutes for a drink that they never even placed ... I had asked 15 minutes in and they said it was coming nothing ever came. I had to make line again to ask for my money back and they said they'd make it right away( did get my drink AFTER 30 minutes) but still they could have given me my money back. read more

This is like the best place to go anytime of day. Especially during fall season the pumpkin spice latte is to die for I literally go every morning for the same pumpkin spice lattes oh and they're vanilla bean frappe with extra whip cream is heaven on earth Starbucks never seems to disappoint me. read more

Just very bad coffee overall. It's too sweet one time and next time it's water down. Their coffee just tastes burnt and smoky like ash, don't know why people keep going to Starbucks when there are better coffee shops around. ASIP coffee in town has the best fresh coffee, period. read more
