If you like to drive thru, plan to enter from the back street (Fairfield Dr.) as you cannot access it from Olive St. directly anymore. The service here was extremely fast, even with a line ahead of me, and the worker was very polite! My drink was handed off fast and tastes great. Not one of our drinks were what we ordered. They forgot half the order. Workers were friendly but really scattered. We ordered two drinks the same and one was so sugary you couldn't get it down while the other was not sweet at all. We mixed them. They were blended.... guess blended means large chunks of ice added. The lemonade was the right color, wrong flavor with nothing we paid extra for. They couldn't fix it because they were 'to busy'. I'll stick with the one by my house. Hope this one can find it's grove soon. One star overall, adding one star because through it all they were still friendly. read more

This is my second time trying Dutch Bros Coffee. They don't have a nearby location in LA, so when I'm in Merced, I did a grab n go for the drive! This is a new location, but they were quite up to speed already, so props to the employees. Dutch Bros is pretty much a drive thru grab and go type of coffee shop. The whole process is quite fast, so make sure you research on what you want first to avoid holding up the line. Our order: -Trifecta: Caramel, White Chocolate, Dark Chocolate -Annihilator: Chocolate Macadamia Nut Breve The Annihilator is probably my favorite drink here, it has the a tasty, balanced flavor. The Trifecta is one of my sister's favorite, but she said it wasn't as good this time. read more

Was in Merced and made it a point to get Dutch Bros.....since they don't have any in the area where I live or even in the general vicinity. This is my first time to this location and second time ever getting Dutch Bros. The first time I had an Horchata Chai and loved it. I decided to get the exact same thing as last time, plus a Lemon Poppyseed muffin. The drink was magnificent and I truly enjoyed the muffin. The lemon flavor was just right, not too strong. Instead of using drive thru I decided to actually park just so I could take a look inside. I was surprised. It was industrial and it didn't invoke a feeling of come inside and hang out here in our shop. There was a little window that was a size of a drive thru window that seemed out of place. There were two picnic style benches for seating, each in opposite ends. There were a couple of tall and narrow tables for standing with no seating and just to place your drink down. I don't know if this is Dutch Bros style or if it was just this location. I guess it was just surprising because every other coffee place I have been too, even well known places have a sit down and have a come and linger vibe with lots of different sitting options. If you want to get your drink and go this is the place if you want to hang out then look elsewhere. Clean but felt kind of impersonal. Parking was ample and the drive thru looked like it was ample too. Staff was nice and made my drink perfectly. read more

This dutchbros is unbelievably slow. There is currently 6+ employees working and not one of them could come and call my name for my drinks. I ordered one small drink and one medium drink, they have probably been sitting out for 15 minutes as they are already melting. I watched about three people walk out when I got there and ordered before all of them. Someone walked out with three drinks and got to this location at least 10 minutes after me. As for the "ambiance" they were completely fine. When I had brought it to a workers attention he hadn't apologized for the wait or anything, he looked around the back for my drinks and brought them to me completely wrong. When I told him what was wrong with the drinks he had just fixed them. Honestly though what difference is it if they are melting and in this heat? If you come here, be clear on what you order, and dont for the love of god go inside. It will not save you any more time than the long line out in the street. read more

I have been Dutch Bros. biggest fan. However, since July 2023, customer service has taken a deep dive. I understand new people. But that is not the problem. Dutch Bros. used to give first class service and even made the prior wait in lines ok. This evening I got there at 8:45 pm and did not get out til 9:30 pm! Yes it was Saturday but that is unacceptable. So was the no apology that came, or here are some free stickers and a coupon for next time. Or how about the wait was so long it is on the house. At one time this would had mattered. No more. I will be going to a smaller one on the other side of the city. It is convenient, the orders are correct and I leave quickly. I hope Dutch Bros. on Olive Ave in Merced changed. The poor customer service has gone on too long with long waits and not enough staff on duty. I understand the Drive Thru is a priority, but there was plenty of staff and there was no communication with a possible wait. Every time I come here the workers that are outside taking the orders from the cars are NERVER considerate of who's NEXT in line. I have waited for more than 15 mins in line at one point when a black jeep pulled up next to me in line and instead of coming to my car first because I WAS THERE FIRST!!!! They took the other person's order first and still came came and asked "did i forget to take your order" as if I haven't been sitting there a lot longer than I should have to get my order taken!!! THIS IS ALMOST EVERY TIME I GO HERE!!! And what makes it worse is that sometimes the workers are to busy talking to each other to even pay attention to who's next in line!!! read more

I've always had horrible service here, but this time I thought maybe I'll give it a try again. My co worker and I stood at the window inside for 15 minutes, even rang the window bell. All the employees were chit chatting the whole time, I counted 6 employees and 2-3 of them were just standing around. None of them acknowledged us. None of them even looked our way. This experienced reassured me that, this particular location just has bad service and will never be coming back again.
