I frequent this boba shop with my kids a lot and never had this bad of an issue before. 1; Management is horrible now, not sure if they recently changed managers or not but the girl that claims to be manager now (Tiffany, after asking one of her employees) gossips about other employees and over all has horrible customer service skills. Not fit to be a manager. 2; A girl with colorful hair and facial piercings and another girl was also gossiping about other people and using a lot of vulgar language and kept going on her phone not being productive. My kids have had issues with this girls a lot of times already, she is unfit to work at a register and is super vulgar and uses a lot of curse words very loud. 3. Food and drinks are good but I will NOT! be going back because the employee's are out of control now more than they were before. I really hope the owner takes action immediately and changes his employees behavior or just hires better people more fit for this job. read more

Honestly, the biggest selection of boba and Taiwanese snacks...and super affordable! The staff are friendly and helpful. And the quality of the drinks and food is consistent. Let me start off by saying they are scamming people charging people for sauce and seasoning that's supposed to already come on the food. I have been to quickly's restaurants all over California and have never experienced this issue anywhere. They aren't putting salt and pepper on the food or the sauce making it bland. I was surprised to see this place in Merced! It's a common hot spot in the bay area. Their menu was a little busy but the guy at the counter was very helpful. He told us about some "secret off-the-menu" items like the Dragon and the unicorn which I've never heard of at any pearl drink place. He gave us samples of them. Stopped by after a busy day out with my sisters. This place is quite new to Merced and I've always wanted to try it out...so I'm glad there's one here now. Cafe is pretty small...probably not good for a big group of people to hangout inside because I'm sure it gets pretty packed like how it was today. They have a huge variety of drinks to choose from...Snow, slush, hot, cold etc. and food. I do like that they offer board games on a small shelf for customers to play with...that's nice. Drinks that I ordered today because it was my treat... Honeydew snow, strawberry slush, Thai tea snow and for me..honey lemon green tea. I didn't like the honey lemon green tea much. The after taste wasn't so pleasant...it had too much of a bitter taste and I'm guessing it's from the big slice of lemon they place in the drink? Maybe, maybe not. But my sisters said their drinks were really good. The ladies who work here are very nice. Went there for the 1st time a week & a half ago after church, so it was on a Sunday around 1pm. It was busy but our drinks were made in a timely manner, we didn't have to wait long. Had a regular watermelon iced drink with boba and my son had a regular milk panda tea with boba. Bare with me if I get the drink names wrong, regardless the drinks were a 10/10. I ordered two tiger tea drinks with boba, one for myself and the other for my son. We decided to try the food - 1 orange chicken bowl & a popcorn chicken bowl. The bowls are a good size as I was full after eating half of my food. My son ate all of his in one sitting as he is a tall athlete and can eat a whole pizza if I let him. I waited 15-20 min (usually doesn't take this long). I went inside to check on the status of my drinks and was told that they had just seen my order... hard to believe because my order was placed 15-20 min ago and I had confirmation on my phone. They had only seen it when they finally checked their screen. I waited another 5 min before getting my drinks. 2nd Incident: My aunt placed an online order the following day, Friday 2/26. She ordered 2 popcorn chicken snacks and 2 orders of lumpia. Waited 30 min before attempting to pick up (because it usually takes 15-20). However, when she went to pick up, she was told 5 min. She didn't get her order until another 30 min later so 1 hour wait in total. 3rd Incident: We tried giving them one more try...today, Friday 2/27. I ordered 5 drinks online around 8:30pm and got a confirmation. We got there around 8:50ish and did not see our order through the window. Around 9pm we went in to check and our order was not done. We asked the cashier the status of our mobile order and he replied they stop taking mobile orders at 9pm. We responded we're aware, we placed our order around 8:30pm. He checked his iPad and found one of the orders, and said they do not have anymore boba. He made one of my drinks without the boba and gave me a .50 refund. I asked what is this? He said "oh, you want the whole refund?" And I said yes. He gave me $3. Again, I asked what is this? I told him it's a big order, there's at least 5 drinks. He went back to look at the iPad again. He realized there were two separate orders. I told him one of the drinks in the first order was a Thai slush with no boba and they couldn't even make that. He provided a full refund but was a few cents short. We gave this place 3 tries and each time it was the same guys working. We had no problems when the girls were working there. My daughter, who is 10, wanted to get boba today and asked to go to Quickly. I let me go in on her own and get what she wanted with a $10 bill. When she came back out she had a five dollar bill on her and I asked her if it was five dollars and she said that it was only $4.61 however the person at the front counter I asked her if they could keep the change because they were short on change. She's 10 years old and didn't know how to react so she came back to the car. When she told me this I went into the store and I asked for my daughters change and their response was, well she said it was OK if we just rounded up. As a business owner myself, if you don't have enough change to make it happen, you round down you don't take money that is not yours from a customer and especially not a 10-year-old.
