I will not return to this Starbucks. After being stuck in their drive thru for 30 minutes because once you're in you can't get out, I finally get my drink only for it to be wrong. I didn't go back to try and change it because I had already lost so much time because clearly their staff doesn't know how to keep up during a rush time and I came in the middle of the afternoon so I'd hate to see how they handle morning rush. Watch out when you go to this Starbucks! Just ordered 2 Coffee drinks at 3:48 pm on 12/5/18. Drove up to cashier at window, handed her $20 and asked her to put on card then pay for drinks. The cashier said "Sorry here's your change". I told her I won't get my rewards and she said "Sorry, here's your drinks. Have a nice day!" She didn't even offer to redo the transaction. Service is TERRIBLE!! This location can't handle the traffic obviously. I've ordered mobile and waited 15 minutes for them to prepare. Actually on June 30. They were out of straws, napkins and lids. But turns out they just needed to restock. Several others had a terribly long wait before me. On another occasion I came to the register to order only one person in line and waited 10 minutes. Very disappointed with this Starbucks. I usually order my drinks on the App and when I arrive, my drink is ready but it's wrong. I ordered a Strawberry Green Tea Infusion with 4 pumps of sugar. Good location but has the slowest drive through ever! I sat in the drive through for almost 10 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me. The guy who took my order rushed through it, interrupting me several times. I had to repeat it several times specifying DECAF and the order was still wrong when I received it, but I didn't have time to get it fixed. The slowest Starbucks ever! I avoid the drive through like the Black Plague. Today the parking lot wasn't crowded so I went inside before work. One person ahead of me and the cashier was having difficulties with the register. I ordered my regular and they either charged me for heavy cream or syrup on my iced americano which has never happened before. Ten minutes later and my drink arrived hot not iced! I had to rush to work so I didn't have another ten minutes for the barista to make another one. When I told her my order was wrong but I didn't have time to wait, she just said ok. No apologies. I think I'll leave five minutes earlier and hit the one in Burlington. At least they know how to make a decent iced americano. read more

I've been going to this Starbucks since the day they opened in 2015 and continue to go almost daily. They've faced some turnover, a change of management, and an unexpected increase in customers. For the most part, I think they're doing an incredible job. The baristas are kind, friendly, funny, and do their very best to get the orders served in a timely manner. The store could absolutely improve its service by adding another espresso machine (or two) and probably another microwave/convection. Considering what they're working with, I have to give them 5 stars. On the other hand, people coming from out of the area are probably going to find a lot more fault with this store. read more

Tried to call the Mebane Starbucks to ask about the Veterans discount. Nobody would answer and finally a message comes on that says the Verizon Wireless customer you have tried to reach isn't available. I double check the number and tried again. There is no reason for me to drive by to get a cup of coffee if they can't answer the phone. I would hope that the supervisory chain of command is checking the reviews because it looks like this location needs some remedial training in customer service. read more

i did a mobile order on their app because i had to be to work at 11:00 i get there around 10:40 and the line is very long so i start to walk up and the dining room is closed i tried calling them to cancel the order and their phone is out of service so i go over to the window and talk to these girls and tell them i placed a mobile order so i wouldn't have to wait because i was on my way to work, she then proceeds to tell me that i'm putting people in danger by stand there "mine you i have a mask on" then ask her to just cancel my order but she tells me i have to still go in the line, she then ends up walking away from me and i get ignored. this was quite a horrible experience and i will not go back here again read more

I have frequented Starbucks all over the country. They are usually pretty much the same; some a bit better than others. Stopped at this particular Starbucks on a Friday morning about 11 AM; pulled off the interstate and went inside to order so that I could walk around a bit. I was there almost 25 minutes!! I only had one person in front of me in the order line - but it took forever. Reason being? The help was having too much fun talking to each other! Two were on break and sitting at a "bar" area and yukking it up with those that were supposedly working, especially the young woman making the drinks for inside orders. The two on break also wanted drinks made, so their requests went to the "front of the line" so to speak and one didn't like the way his was made, so it was made over again. All while I'm standing there wondering where is my latte (no, nothing complicated) Finally the above mentioned barista (whose name was Trish & actually might have been a manager) asked me what I was waiting on. I told her & she said "well, I didn't get that order" as though it was my fault? As she proceeded to start in on the young man running the register, he pointed the order out to her that had fallen on the floor. She picked it up off the floor, made the latte and then just set it down on the counter. No "sorry it took so long", no "thank you for waiting", nothing. I guess she wanted to get back to the "party" that the staff was having with each other. And by the way, the latte wasn't made that well, either! read more
