Grabbed breakfast on the way through NC on a return road trip. Service was great and staff friendly. Restrooms were clean. Food was good and we had a coupon so two of us ate for under $10. Can't beat it. We will be back as we drive through here a couple times a year. Country fries were cooked well and were tasty. We had bacon and egg biscuit and English muffin and both were good. Locals were friendly too. I was standing on the left side of the coffee dispensers and couldn't tell the difference between decaf and regular and a local quickly came to my aide. That's when I realized the labels were on the right side (maybe a message for POP/POS graphic designer to take this into account for functionality/self-serve ease of use). We've stopped at this Biscuitville any time we've headed out of town to visit the in-laws, so I was excited to go back to grab a snack/meal. The most recent visit it was 1:30pm on a Saturday, so it wasn't during breakfast hours but still 30 minutes before they closed for the day. I ordered the new LTO Cheesecake Stuffed Waffle and the seasonal Peppermint Mocha Latte, and my husband got the Bacon Egg & Cheese Waffle sandwich combo. The Cheesecake Stuffed Waffle would've been better if they hadn't drowned it in syrup and had actually made the waffle fresh or at least warmed it because it was stale and cold. I wonder if it's because they were closing in 30 mins? The Peppermint Mocha Latte was good until I hit the peppermint syrup in the bottom, phew was it strong!! Waaaay too much peppermint as it was like chewing a mint and had peppermint chunks in it, definitely not what I was expecting as usually all things peppermint mocha are my life right now. My hubby said the waffle sandwich would've been great if the egg and bacon hadn't been old. He didn't get the fries that were supposed to be in his combo so I can't comment on that. The tea run stayed empty the entire visit, but don't get me wrong you could hear through a loud and packed dining room the mgr screaming a few times "dining room needs tea". I ordered the Country Ham Biscuit, Small Fries, and Water to drink. I believe BV has the best ham biscuits I've ever had. The fries were very good -- not earth-shattering, but still very good. Biscuitville is a chain, and while I've never been to a 'bad one' , this one is definitely fare from being bad. They are great. They are friendly. The quality of the food is consistently good and the biscuits are always light, warm and fluffy. No dark, crusty, semi-warm biscuits here. I love Biscuitville! Every time we make the trip from Raleigh, back to Columbus, we stop here for breakfast and it is soooooo good. My favorite food there is the chicken biscuit, which is slightly peppery, and perfect for covering in honey. They also have great hashbrowns which are the right amount of crispy and grease-covered. I have only eaten here a couple of times but the food was amazing! The restaurant is very busy because they are open for only a limited amount of time per day which makes it popular. They have a viewing area for you to see the biscuit maker make the biscuits which I thought was cool. As you would think they have a variety of biscuit meals for you to choose from. They also have other types of breakfast favorites that are just as good. The service was nice that I can remember. I don't recall it being exceptional but it was not horrible. There was a little bit of a wait for the food for both the drive through and going inside. The food was hot and delicious when we received it. Quality varies depending on location. The Mebane location is definitely my favorite, though it is quite a hike for a visit. It's clean. The staff behind the counter ROCKS! They are friendly and seek to serve up tasty food with a smile and that sweet Southern charm. Hate that you have to try so hard to get some honey with that biscuit; hate that Corporate never thought of a way of putting their sausage and cheese balls on the menu without having to order in advance and buy enough to feed an army.
