12/13/25: Whelp, he talked me back into coming back here after many years of staying away all because he wanted breakfast before we started shopping (insert eye roll). I had a bad feeling from my last experience, but I went inside optimistic. There was only other customer inside. The food couldn't be bad, right? WRONG!!! We ordered a sausage egg & cheese biscuit combo with an additional sausage biscuit. His biscuit was moist and the fries were greasy. My biscuit must've come from Timbuktu because it was the polar opposite of his - DRY & BURNT! I didn't feel like complaining because I just didn't have the energy. So, he took it back for me. He came with a replacement that was the exact twin of the one I sent back. BURNT & DRY! What in the world??? I know, I know, I know...I said this before...but...I AM NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN! I thought time could possibly change things for the better, but it's exactly the same as before. The restroom was nasty and didn't have paper towels. So, I had to use tissue to wipe my hands. The drink and condiment areas were filthy too. As dead as it is in here, there's no reason for this place to be this nasty! Come visit at your own risk. read more

The bathrooms were as dirty as you would expect but what really got me bothered was that there were hundreds of fruit flys swarming the sweet tea station! Tables were all dirty and un-wiped, trash was on every surface and did not look as if it was wiped since the beginning of the week (it's Friday). The cashier was on his phone the entire time he was taking our order. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this situation because I love bojangles and this gave it a bad rep. It is not a fast food place and more like slow food place Had to wait for someone to come take order for a good 10 minutes and the people who work there saw us and were shaking their head like they were not expecting customers inside the restaurant and we made mistake by going in. They were very short staffed and had to wait another 15 minutes to get food. There was another customer at register who wanted help but there was no one at the register. I'm so over this bojangles. I can't remember the last time I actually had a decent experience here, the waits are stupid long, employees actively ignore people waiting at the counter inside, it's a minimum 20 minute wait in drive thru, this is the first time I've actually gotten hot food but they forgot the biscuits and sauces in both meals and I paid for an extra sauce, so I know it's only 25 cent but I'm so sick of being ripped off by bojangles with crap or missing food. The ONLY good bojangles are East starting in Hillsborough, the ones that are privately owned. And if there's no biscuits available, tell the people you're serving! This place is awful. It's gross inside and the food took over 30 minutes to come out. Ended up taking to the car to eat because I didn't want to sit inside anymore. Food was so/so. Service was a little slow, but no big deal. Cashier was friendly. I ordered a ham biscuit, grape jelly fries, and a drink. When I went to get my drink, the counter was so nasty. I wouldn't even sit my bag on it. They were out of both diet Pepsi, and Pepsi, zero. When I told the cashier he said he would have to refill it. Last I looked he was behind the counter still working. A typical Bojangles with mediocre service and food. I had to go up to the counter when the three people in line behind me got their food first. I only ordered the supreme snack box. The Diet Pepsi from the fountain did not taste very good. I am afraid it needed cleaned. As did the dining room. Food was fine, our orders were correct when we got them and staff was working hard. Be careful not to park where the drive thru line wraps around the building and it's hard to get out. They do have WiFi and it appeared the a student was able to do her homework on a computer in the dining room. Bojangles honey mustard is the best sauce we've decided. read more

In the past, I have enjoyed this restaurant and the food in which they serve. Today, I arrived to a car parked in the drive -thru so you could not order. I parked and went inside. A group of workers were sitting inside eating and talking, an empty store besides an upset customer and one worker taking orders and making food all the way in the back out of sight away from the register to the point it appeared no one was working. After several minutes of waiting, no order taken I left. This is just bad business practice. You do not leave one person to do everything and block drive thru just so you do not have to take orders. Coming outside, there was several cars waiting in line to order behind an empty car. This location is not franchised so if they keep up with the bad customer service they will keep losing money and business and eventually have to close. read more

This is honestly the worst Bojangles' I've ever been to. It's at the point that I'm shocked corporate or someone hasn't stepped in to close it, as it makes their entire company look terrible. I honestly would love any other fast food to move in, just please get rid of this terrible place that's in such a busy location. - They regularly close their lobby for no reason. Randomly. With no notice or sign on the door. - It's a literal coin-toss for them to get your order right. I can't tell you how many times they forget part of your order or give you fewer tenders than ordered. I can understand it happening sometimes, BUT IT'S LITERALLY HALF THE TIME. I just want lunch, not a gamble. - They close and open at random times. Today, they decided to close at 7 PM. There was a piece of printer paper on the menu board that apparently stated this, but the line was enormous and there was no other sign stating this. We finally pulled up to the speaker box at 7:01 and the woman just says "We're closed". There are legitimately 6 cars behind us and it took them 10 minutes to get through the two cars before us. This isn't a single experience. These things happen often. There are days where they just aren't open in the morning. Again with no signage or hour change actually posted. - Food is never ready or they're out of it. If you are somehow lucky enough to order food, you better believe you have to wait a good while, pull up, or park until they can get you the food. Almost every time. There is no speed or convenience about this fast food restaurant. This location is NOT WORTH the time or money. There are so many options on the same highway exit and another Bojangles' one down. This location legitimately makes me second guess going to other locations, and it's kind of heartbreaking that Bojangles' standards have gotten this low for their restaurants. They used to be great. My order was wrong and so was two orders ahead of me. Dinning room was filthy. Chairs were caked with grim, food, dirt, and sticky. They had not been wiped down. More than a dozen Canvas seats in the dining area were cracked and peeling off the cushions. All of the chairs are In need of having the wooden frames cleaned thoroughly and the cushions replaced. Tables appeared to be wiped off with a dirty rag. How they have a 98% rating by the Healthy Department is a mystery to me. I will not be visiting this filthy business again. read more

The worse Bojangles ever!!! No matter what time of day you get the fries they are ALWAYS dried out and hard and I even asked for fries that weren't so dried out and still didn't receive them. Here on my trip to Charlotte I had to stop by Bojangles because I see people posting about it whenever they travel. I got a 2 piece chicken tender meal with mashed potatoes n'gravy and a biscuit. Ehhh...expected better, but this first time experience at this location was ok. Location is very convenient, right off I-85 & near the busy Mebane outlet shopping center. For 11 AM-ish, the drive-thru line was long & based on the conversations I was hearing, it was very frustrating. Apparently the employee order taker was struggling to hear the orders & customers kept having to repeat themselves or correct the order taker. I had the same issue when I got up to the speaker. Even getting the food seemed to take a while. I ordered my usual steak biscuit combo... Once I received my food, I noticed the fries were extra seasoned - which is ok in my book - but my biscuit was rather hard and over-cooked. The steak was rather dry, too. Yummity yum. This is my current food addiction. This is the first restaurant I tried when I moved to Mebane. It was a Saturday and there were almost no parking places, a good sign. The chicken and biscuits are consistently hot and delicious. I have eaten here at 8 am and at 9:30 pm and it's always a pleasure. They let an ole girl order off the kids menu. There are vegetables on the menu!! Not just fried ones, I like green beans and pinto beans. If you pass Bojangles in Mebane during the day you are supposed to beep your horn to show solidarity with other chicken biscuit lovers. read more

This was the first time I have stopped at this location. It was very clean and well organized. There were no booths in the dining room though, only tables. They were friendly and the food was good. The Boberry biscuits contained blueberries and cherries, which was very unusual. It wasn't bad, but if you were expecting the usually boberry biscuit, you were in for a big surprise! read more

Sadly I love Bojangles. They have delicious chicken, biscuits, fries, cajun seasoning and more. My typical meal is the chicken strips with hot sauce and french fries with cajun seasoning. The restaurants are clean and orderly, the staff is always friendly and they are constantly cleaning the dining area, in fact they'll come by your table and remove your trays, trash, etc. The prices are very reasonable. If you've never had Bojangles you should definitely try it when you have a chance. I would recommend burning a few calories before or after :) read more
