Great service today! Kelly helped me with purchasing holiday cups & buying coffee beans. She was so friendly and upbeat, how people should be in the morning at work at a coffee shop. Kinda dread going to this location bc the coffee/ frappes always taste watered down ... two times I went through the drive through just to drink basically milk no matter what you order so I would always have to drive back in and walk in to fix my order bc walking out with a 7$ cup of milk in the year 2020 anything is insane. Even then, I think it's just the way the coffees made at this location... not a fan... but it's close to my job and I had a gc from the holidays so I purchased beans so I can make my own from home . I like anything I order that has coffee in it to taste like coffee ...not a smoothie ... while I seem really passionate about that coffee should be the best part of your morning and it sucks when it's not the way you want it. Esp starbucks is such a "treat yourself" treat for me. Anyway, Kelly helped me with the app so I can get stars and I really appreciated that this morning. Giving a 3 star rating as this location & I have a long 10 plus year history. So the staff is incredible and oh so attentive even as staff turns over the new staff receives the same quality training on customer service and care. The disappointment is in the corporate influence with the "only customers can use restroom" to how can we limit wi-fi free loaders. The new menu offerings are bland - I ordered the Turkey Sage Danish to be disappointed with a Turkey paste on a sage pastry; I tasted no flavoring of turkey and only an overpowering sage flavor... go back to the drawing board Starbucks and obtain some customer insights prior to offering nationwide. I came here on a Friday morning around 9:30 am and this place was PACKED! I like this location a lot because it's huge and the layout/amount of seating is conducive for people to hang out there. I saw a lot of people meeting or just doing work there solo. They also have a few nice bar seats which is not found at most Starbucks only newer ones. This review is simply based on just the drive thru experience because I have never gone inside of this location. That being said this Star Bucks is in need of some work. Experience: Almost every time I have gone here there has been a huge line. Sometimes not, but more than 75 percent of the time. Which puts you in a bad mood from the start and makes you expect your food to be perfect because of the wait. I would say all but 2 times I have come here the staff as been non friendly and seem to not want to have to deal with you. They have been quick and down right unhelpful at times. I'm not sure if this is just because of the location or not, but I have gone to Star Bucks in Minnetonka and Hopkins that have had very present workers. Besides the staff not being pleasant to be around, they have also messed my order up multiple times. From missing items, to not the right drink, to not the right size, to missing ingredients, to any number sort of things that you don't want to happen to you when you're in a long line waiting for your coffee. My experience here hasn't been great for a number of reasons and I hope they work through whatever they need to do to make things better. Overall: This is your normal run of the mill Star Bucks experience. You know what you're going to get and you get just that (most of the time). They might not be the nicest people, they might not get your order right, but that probably won't stop me or any other customers from coming and trying this one out again. read more

Always great service and consistently delicious drinks and snacks. This is my favorite Starbucks in the Twin Cities. During the morning rush, this Starbucks location is a machine-I've never seen a drive through operate so quickly and efficiently! And every time I come here, I get a genuine "good morning" greeting, even through the drive through speaker. The staff is always incredibly cheerful which makes even the Mondays a better morning. The afternoon crew is a little slower, but I tolerate it because the line isn't ever as long. read more

Such a nice spacious layout, with just enough light chatter that wouldn't distract you from studying but act as some white noise. Our drinks were made quickly and accurately, with the exception of instead of getting a cup of ice like we asked, we got a cup of ice water. But that's not a big deal at all, we just thought it was funny (see pic). read more

I spend WAY too much money at Starbucks. I love the mobile app, HOWEVER, it happens way too often that I arrive and have to wait over 10 minutes OR they are out of something I ordered, and It takes forever to get their attention. I feel like they need to hustle more and get organized, because I see people moving slow or just standing around. In the morning, they need to hustle. We are in a hurry to get to work. It shouldn't take over 10 min to get a drink. I've had to leave without my order because waiting longer would make me late for work. No refund. That SUCKS, since it is impossible to get a barista's attention. Starbucks is such a well known brand, but I think the customer service with the app needs work. read more

Anytime I've gone here the staff has been friendly, the food/coffee has been tasty and they always are willing to share a pup cup with my doggos. I will say their seasonal drinks are a toasty ambrosia that wakes you up like an unexpected prostate exam but without the shame and concern. Once that sweet sweet elixir touches your lips it awakens the senses allowing your to taste sound as if Beethoven's symphony no. 9 just erupted in your mouth. Though very unlikely, thanks to the theory of relativity and our inability to reach the constant C of the speed of light traveling through a vacuum of 299,792,458 meters per second, it appears to slow time down solidifying the joy you contain within that moment. Then after that blissful forever moment you realize how shitty Minnesota drivers are again and have to get back on the road have a 50/50 chance of getting rear ended because following distance apparently is skipped in our drivers education these days. Maybe it's a cost savings effort? Who knows.... Either way great coffee, only think that could push it to a 6 star is if they offered Whipple Energy Drink. read more

I frequent this location often - mostly thru the drive thru after I am done with my morning workout. I usually order a hot, venti Americano with sugar free vanilla and cream. The preparation, wait time and customer service are almost always top notch. Like most Starbucks locations, whenever a new barista is hired on... that usually translates into a bit of a slowdown in the drive thru for a few days. There is one barista (Kelly) here who works mornings who will often get my hot Americano switched around with a cold one - it would be nice if she kept her head in the game a little better; but I usually get offered the cold Americano gratis to take home with me which is nice. Kelly doesn't seem to be a "morning person" and yet she works the early morning shift and often lacks focus and seems out of it in general. read more

Love this Starbucks! I always get together with friends to talk here. The noise level is pretty high so if you'd like to get work done I would recommend bringing headphones. I always see people I know because this is a popular location. I feel like there's always a lot of people here but the employees always get everyone's drinks done in no time. They were also willing to redo my drinks the times that I hated them. I love their chocolate croissants and I always get cake pops. I would recommend raspberry passion tea lemonade or lime refresher with strawberry açaí instead of water if you're not too big on coffee. read more

I was honestly shocked at how I was treated yesterday at this location.. I have loved this Starbucks for years, but yesterday I felt so uncomfortable for something that wasn't my fault... I ordered a drink and I asked for it without ice. I got my drink very quickly and grabbed it and headed back to my car, but as I was getting into my car I realized it had ice in it. I went back inside and told her that there was a mistake with my drink, and she was sweet and apologetic and asked for the sticker off my drink. I took the sticker off and as I was handing it to her, an older man (who I'm assuming is a manager of some sort) came and yanked the drink out of my hand and whipped it into the sink... he remade my drink really quickly but with an attitude and he slammed the corrected drink in front of me, and was very unkind with the whole situation. I was completely not expecting to be treated like this, because I wasn't mean to them at all and completely understanding that mistakes happen. I hope to have better treatment next time, because this situation really put a bad taste in my mouth. I hope this man will treat his other customers better than he treated me. read more

This Starbucks has terrible customer service. I walked inside to get a myself a drink, and after I paid for my drink the lady informed me that it was a 30 minute wait. There were a few people already waiting for drinks and they had a drive through, but as someone who has worked at 2 coffee shops, 30 minutes is ridiculous and I was very disappointed. A really nice, spacious Starbucks that is open late. Internet speeds are great and the coffee and service are top notch. My only complaints are 1) that comfortable seating with power outlet access could be better. Quite possibly the worst SB location I have been too. Total lack of service, organization and drive-thru customers seem take presidence over in-store customers. I have been numerous times now because of location, now I am done after today's experience. To the cashier: no greeting, nothing, just here is my card to reload, he looked me like I asking for a free drink. Yeah, it is called a SB rewards card they sent me, I reload and pay with it because I get points! I love Starbuck in Maple Grove. It is a great place for me to study. The place is not too loud and they have chairs and tables outside, which is very nice in summer days. Also, free parking is a plus. Sometimes, this store has good deal. I got the coupon to buy any grande drink at $2 after 2 pm. My favorite drinks here are green tea frappuccino and white chocolate peppermint frappuccino. read more
