7$ for half of a tall latte.

7$ for half of a tall latte. Not worth it. Take your money elsewhere. Had my drinks in a carrier so I didn't realize it was only half filled until I reached my destination. So disappointed.

Favorite Starbucks on campus The location is approachable and the hours are great. A bit too loud and busy... but then again, it's the main Starbucks on campus

Only got to spend an evening here (and before school was back in session), but those few hours were great. Made greater by friendly service. There's all sorts of tables in here, from communal tables to two-seaters in the window to love seats. Did I mention a little library nook that I wish would be integrated in all Starbucks stores? And yes, outdoor patio seats that I don't see getting much use at this time of year. Best of all? It's open late! (Note: they closed some parts of the cafe earlier, so don't get TOO settled.) For those staying at the Commons, you can roll out of bed and get a pick-me-up without even stepping outside. The lighting and "reclaimed urban wood" furniture really makes this Starbucks a cozy place to study, especially if you're sitting on the cushioned bench at your own table.

Well-maintained Starbucks in the heart of the University of Minnesota campus. They've updated their store a lot in the past years I've been here and have several different types of tables (high tables, normal tables, booths, couches, outdoor tables, etc.) so whatever your study preference is, it's here. They've added so many outlets as well which is a huge plus. There are multiple outlets attached to most of the study tables. I've never had issues with internet. It's fast and reliable. It gets pretty packed during busy times of the school year, but is always a nice and quiet place to study in the evenings. There's always a morning and afternoon rush for coffee so I prefer to order in the Starbucks app. They get those drinks done extremely fast so you don't have to wait. Food and drinks are good, baristas are nice and friendly.

I am tired and sick of how this Starbucks location operate! This is my third time having this issue when I placed a mobile order for a grande latte, and they intentionally half filled my cup w coffee and the rest was foam. I was in a hurry for the last two times and didn't have time to confront them. Today, I picked my coffee up and it was the same thing again, half-filled grande size latte! I made the complaint to the barista and she said she can pour milk in it! I told her, good customer service would have made the $&@$ drink again! Will never come back to this location again! Filthy and smell like %$&: inside!

Probably one of my favorite Starbucks coffee shops! The lines are long but they move much faster than the lines at the Starbucks inside Coffman. They accept mobile payment and are open from 5am - 12 midnight. This is also one of the largest Starbucks I've ever been to. I enjoy their Holiday drinks and their usual classics like the Caramel Macchiato and the delightful Cinnamon Dolce latte. And being next to The Commons Hotel - Added bonus! It's gorgeous inside the Commons, and nice to walk through the hotel into the "tunnel" and back to the office so you can get your coffee fix without even stepping foot outside in the freezing cold tundra. Minnesota winters, I'm not afraid of you! Thank you Starbucks for deliciously caffeinating my mornings!

Books to read while you drink your delicious coffee. :)

Loved the decor. Plenty of staff and plenty of room. Taste: average. Price: average.

When I came into Minneapolis after a friendly group meetup invited me here, I noticed a Starbucks attached to the Graduate Minneapolis hotel (which was this Starbucks location) that looked innovative and close. However, it was rather disappointing and disorganized. Although things ran smoothly, I chose to use the Starbucks app due to my Starbucks Rewards card, but not only was it my fault at first that I couldn't get my order to trigger in the system, but by the time I realized and put it in, everybody was getting a little testy in the back. I'm normally not that bad at knowing when a mobile order has been ordered, but made it more interesting was just how they responded to a really quick order I had there. One pastry that they had on the shelf which the one dude-employee pawned off on his beverage-filling coworker (even though this other dude was closer to the pastries). For an order that should've taken all of 30 seconds, took more than 5 minutes to evaluate, put product in the product bag and walk it over to the pickup line. Not my cup o' tea here. I know I won't be back, because I'm not from the area, and I probably won't be staying inside this hotel again for the same reason, but try to queue easy to fulfill orders first instead of by time of ordering because my quick and easy order turned out to be more than the average guest could hope for and wouldn't make a great reputation for your company.

Iced coffee, without much ice. Boo!

Wow! Restaurant Alma(not the cafe)…read moreCan't believe it's taken me years to visit here, I had an amazing 3 course dinner here with the wine pairings All the dishes were fantastic and my friend and I shared all of our dishes so we could experience most of the menu The service here was truly excellent from coat check to our server Miles who was super friendly and knowledgeable Everyone we encountered was so passionate about the food it made me feel good especially as the quality was so high! There wasn't anything I didn't like except dessert was not included in our meal so for extra $ we did split one and was delicious They did send me home with some mini coconut macaroons which was a nice touch Ambiance - was lovely sitting at the counter, restaurant was full but not crazy loud for a Saturday night! The menu changes seasonally so I'll be back in the fall to try that Parking- free street parking If your looking for a high quality tasting menu book here

It is very good. It may not be outstanding, hence the 4 stars…read more This is a review specifically for the restaurant side, and you're going to have to sort the cafe/hotel/restaurant ones. A lot was on point. They had super interesting wines by the glass, the appetizers were outstanding, my duck breast was served with a perfectly smoky pepper reduction, and it was fun watching the open kitchen. We also appreciated the creativity of the uni spaghetti we were served. They do a no tipping/hospitality included model, which is nice to know what you're getting. But also, a lot was a bit off. Water took 10 minutes to get even when all the waiters were waiting for the kitchen to plate the next course. Cocktails were uninspired, basically just the flavors of the classics but with extra price. Dessert was additional, and honestly I think if you're going to do a prix fixe (which I love), do it as appetizer-main-dessert. Said uni spaghetti was creative, but lacking in balance, especially compared to the pear-nduja bruschetta (lovely) and said duck breast. I walked out feeling not unhappy, but not anywhere near one of my best experiences.
