    Pesto Turkey Panini
    Yousef M.

I recently visited Daily Dose and had a great experience, especially because I love discovering new local coffee spots :) I ordered a turkey pesto panini, a London Fog, and their delicious scones. The scone was incredible, especially served warm. I absolutely loved the texture--not too dry and perfectly moist. I would 1000% recommend it. The turkey pesto panini was also delicious; they make a very tasty pesto. If I ordered it again, I'd probably ask for chicken instead, as the turkey comes in shredded slices. The service was delightful, with food brought right to your table when it's ready. The ambiance was great too--this place attracts a really friendly crowd, and they even have board games to use!

My partner and I really love the drinks at Day Dose! We also been to the Brooklyn Park location and had a decent experience but overall feel like the drinks here at this location are a bit more consistent in taste + this is closer to us, so we go here more. I do think the tea selections are pretty limited and the food here could use more seasoning/flavor. I think the service has been overall nice- depends on the person/how busy they get. Friday mornings are usual the busiest we found. Happy to support a local coffee shop overall!

I have heard great things about Daily Dose so stopped in on a Saturday morning for an iced Americano. It was busy; there are approximately 12 tables and they were all full. There was no line so I just got my drink to go. I was surprised that they had some gluten free bakery items - mini donuts, brownies, and small donuts - but pricey ($7 for a gf brownie). Overall, my iced americano was good, but not better than a chain coffee place and more expensive. It is a locally owned business with a good selection of sandwiches. I would return if I wanted something more than just a coffee.

The food was just not good, I wish that wasn't the case. The coffee was awesome and I'm glad they have decaf options. Tasty lemonade, as well. The breakfast wrap with deli Turkey or chicken was honestly hard to eat. It looks nothing like the picture and basically a soggy sandwich in a tortilla with sandwich condiments and burn eggs. My husband didn't like his chicken bacon ranch, either. Maybe in person, it's better.

It's nice to have a non-corporate coffee shop to spend my time & money at! I had the berry & granola parfait (good) and the vanilla frappe. I really wanted to sit outdoors on a table outside but all the umbrella-shade spots were taken.

    Really digging his hot chocolate.

We took our 3 year old here to get and early lunch and we're very glad we did. My husband got a breakfast burrito and he said it was better than he expected, I had the turkey cranberry panini which was good although I think it could have used some stuffing on it, really double down on the carbs, our son had a chicken salad sandwich and his picky butt actually loved it. I had a few bites and yes it was great. The coffee was good and hot but not blazing which is nice that I could drink it right away without scalding my tongue but it didn't get cold immediately. Really enjoyed our visit here. Also the service was good, my kid wanted to ding the bell because he's 3 and that's entertaining to him and the girl didn't balk when we asked if he could.

Ask the Community - Daily Dose Cafe & Espresso

Was searching for authentic Cuban Coffee and the Daily Dose came up. Can anyone confirm that they do serve up classic Cuban Coffee? Thanks!!

Hi Jon, We don't actually sell Cuban coffee. We sell coffee and Cuban sandwiches, which is probably why our name came up with that search. Sorry!

Do you have green tea ice cream?

We do not currently. Our ice cream provider, Sebastian Joe's, makes it in the summer time. We will look into bringing it into the rotation and let you know if/when we do. Thanks for the question!

Honestly, the whole experience was disappointing. I would encourage any reader to stop and check…read moreout Uffda Donuts instead (right next door) for any sweet treats. I called late Monday morning to set up a Wednesday 7am pick‑up because I needed breakfast for a Leadership training event. I live closer to Maple Grove, which is why I ordered from that location, but since I was commuting to Burnsville, the timing was really important. The woman who took my order didn't write everything down, so the store called me Tuesday. No big deal. I was actually glad they double‑checked. But that's when I found out the online menu doesn't match what they actually sell. I wanted two dozen rolls, half cinnamon and half caramel. Turns out caramel rolls with nuts are still listed online but aren't even available anymore. Whatever. I adjusted. When I showed up Wednesday at 7am, the woman at the counter clearly knew I was the one picking up the big order. They weren't busy, but she started running around like she had no idea what was going on. She told me the rolls had *just* come out of the oven and she needed to figure out how to package them. It was already past my pick‑up time. She apologized, but I was frustrated. I asked how long it would be, and she said five minutes. I didn't walk out until after 7:15. If you commute, you know how much that throws off your whole morning. And then... the cinnamon rolls weren't even frosted. The presentation was honestly pretty sad. When I asked about the frosting, she hesitated and then proceeded to go in the back to fill a cup of their icing. I won't be using GHBC for corporate events again. The rolls tasted fine, but nothing special, definitely not worth the hassle.

Ambiance is basic bread shop, quarters were a bit tight, but not awful. This store has a walkthrough to Uff-Da Donuts too. I ordered a Garlicky Cubano $13.50 and Baja Chipotle Turkey $13.50. Both were underwhelming. Lacking flavor, really soft almost wonder bread style bread. Will not be ordering sandwiches here again.
