Something you should know about this cute little cafe is that it's often teeming with children from around grades 7-12, as the school connected to the coffeehouse and church building gives its students access to The Coffee House. During their breaks, aka 12:45-2:00ish, is when it's the busiest. Lines tend to be long and clog fast- especially if you go during this "rush hour"- nonetheless, your order is ready within 5 minutes every time, and though the line might look long, it certainly never lasts any more than about 7 minutes tops. (That's not to say you consistently spend 15 minutes waiting for an order- this is when the line has 10+ people waiting to order and 4 who are waiting for their order to be done at the most hectic hours.) In addition to the speedy service, the atmosphere is always so friendly and welcoming! I always get complimented on something or another, and they make sure your order is done to your complete satisfaction. Prices are SUPER reasonable, especially when compared to Starbucks! I can walk out of The Coffee House with a cookie, bagel, and decent-sized coffee for under $6 TOTAL. Finally, in a place typically filled with teens who spill crumbs on occasion, the environment of the place always stays clean. The set-up of everything feels so homey and cozy, especially with the Christmas decorations that are up. All in all, The Coffee House is my go-to coffee place now! read more
