Had a couple of hours to kill before my flight so I thought I'd order a couple of sandwiches and a drink before boarding. I ordered a Ham & Swiss sandwich on a baguette which was automatically warmed for me. I thought it was a cold sandwich but I guess they automatically warm it for you? I wasn't asked at the register. I was in the nearby shops where you can buy sandwiches, snacks & souvenirs but the sandwiches were cold & basic & much more expensive. This sandwich was less expensive, warmed for you and satisfying. I also ordered a Turkey Bacon/Cheddar/Egg White sandwich on an English Muffin to eat later on the plane. That was also warmed. The app doesn't give you an option for a cold sandwich. To drink, I got my favorite Strawberry Matcha Strato Frapp w/Oatmilk. Prices are higher at the airport so my Frapp was $0.47 more than in town. Seating is available against the window and only a couple of tables. There's always a line at this location & it can get a little tight, but it goes fast. Order your sandwiches ASAP or they may be sold out. My Ham & Swiss Baguette must have been one of the last ones available as it was sold out by the time I almost finished my sandwich & was ordering the Turkey Bacon Sandwich on my app. You can buy Starbucks tropical or Hawaii mugs, tumblers, accessories & even Kona Coffee.

There's only 1 Starbucks in Lihue Airport. Why? Because it's really not a very busy, super congested airport like at HNL or OGG. And when you're on The Garden Island, there really is no rush to be anywhere unless you're absolutely late for an appointment, work, meeting, or your flight. Mobile Order is also available here, but I had over an hour to spare. Me being the only customer in line, while my colleagues decided to wait in another area of the airport. My Venti Iced Apple Latte and warmed Cheese Danish was ready in a few minutes along with service and a smile!

The not nice cashier.

DO NOT go here. The cashier was ridiculously patronizing and rude. She had red/black hair with glasses, short, heavier set. Don't know her name but she was awful. Don't understand why she had to be rude when we were nothing but kind to her ordering. She rushed us and had a horrible attitude. STAY AWAY! She also barked at her coworker, the poor girl didn't do anything wrong! Save your time and get coffee somewhere else!

Great crew working here to make you morning Brew-tastic! Today I added a Ham & Cheese Croissant to my much needed, fresh brewed, Sugar-free Vanilla Almond Latte! What a way to brighten up a rainy day! Mahalo to my Barista "Elizabeth" for brewing up my wake up cup! This quaint little coffee shop located just past the TSA screening point, between gates six and seven, is a great place to relax and enjoy your Java and watch the runway action from their window viewing point.

There's a quaint little Starbucks outlet here at the airport and the place has a massive appeal. The line gets really busy and they have a good selection of coffees, sandwiches and desserts to choose from. Of course I had to get my souvenir mug to bring back home to California. They have huge windows where you can see all the planes coming and going down the runway.

6/23/22 Aloha! Was really praying this place was going to save my family with some crispy double warmed grilled cheese or panini sandwiches! C'mon Starbucks is a franchise and almost never fails. Unfortunately this location doesn't serve any lunch options. They only have bagels and breakfast and muffin options at 5pm Hawaii time. We ended up grabbing a bagel with cream cheese and 2 Venti beverages! Mango dragonfruit & pineapple passion fruit lemonade (a local offering) - both sadly tasted very artificial :( so so sad. My name was spelled wrong but oh well. Bagel wasn't really toasted so this layover was a miss. Two ladies working the counter. Whhhaaaaaaaat....No one seems to be happy here in Hawaii! They do have some Hawaii specific souvenirs that I thought was nice! :)

Another Starbucks, another airport. Fun pesto sandwich. Great service! Usually catch the tail-end of service at airports, this one, not so much. Tried the piggy-in-a-blanket which was a great pick me up between flights.

Of course. $2 more per drink on avg being an airport location.

Drinks come out fast but it took 25 minutes to get a simple chocolate croissant heated. Don't be in a rush when coming here.

Limited options at this airport. Thank you Starbucks for having the AC on! It was an oasis in the muggy heat.

The team doesn't rush things; everything is prepared fresh to order and presented in the absolute cutest way possible! The housemade granola tasted so wholesome and natural, and the coffee was smooth, and delicious (as expected in Hawaii!) It opens early and carries a higher price point, but the quality, aesthetic presentation, and loving attention to detail make it worth every penny. We ended up visiting twice during our stay because the bowls and smoothies were just that fresh, delicious, and filling. A total Kauai favorite!

The staff is still incredibly kind and friendly. They were just as welcoming as we remembered, and that alone makes me want to support this place. This time, though, the açaí bowl wasn't quite the same. The base tasted much more like banana than açaí, and there wasn't as much fruit as our first visit. It just didn't feel as balanced or as fresh as the bowl we had before. I still think it's worth checking out because the people working here are genuinely wonderful. I'm hoping this was just an off day since our first experience was so much better!
