This Starbucks hardly ever gets my order correct & I mostly go to the drive-thru. It is always a gamble to know what I'm going to get after I drive away. The other day we had to drive back after getting home because they failed to give my mom the cookie I ordered via the mobile app. Today mom made sure to ask before leaving & she gets home w/the wrong cookie. The tea I ordered via the app they were out of as well. Why does the app allow me to order Peach Tranquility tea if they don't have it?? Last week they suggested a different tea because they didn't have Peach Tranquility & the one they gave me had ginger in it. I woke up w/a migraine the next day because I'm intolerant to ginger. I once had to wait 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich because they couldn't get it right & then gave it to another customer. I'm a gold member of Starbucks reward program as well, so I am familiar with the franchise. I suggest going to a different location if you want your order correct. It seems like there are a lot of new workers at this location. I don't know why the high turnover. Go to the Starbucks at Magnolia & Bradley they always get it right & offer helpful suggestions. Whether you go through the drive thru or go inside, the service is always incredibly slow. Recently, we went to the drive thru and ordered a white mocha and an iced tea. After we drove off, we realized that the iced tea had espresso in it. Drove back and took the drink inside, thinking they'd fix the mistake right away. Nope! I waited TEN MINUTES for them to make a new iced tea. I was a barista for s few years through high school and college--it doesn't take 10 minutes to make an iced tea, and if you messed up someone's drink, you make fixing that drink a priority. I'm not even being dramatic but I waited 15mins in line today with 3 people in front of me! Nobody ordered more than one drink so I was shocked at how long it took them just to take my order. I just went thru the drive thru at 5:30 in the am. Placed my order for a venti latte and a Carmel macchiato upside down. I paid for them. When I got to work I taste the Carmel macchiato and it was NOT a Carmel macchiato but some hazelnut coffee! VERY disappointing! They weren't busy enough to excuse such a task but just didn't bother or care to check the cup before they passed it to me. Well today was the longest I've ever had to wait for coffee. 15 minutes for 2 coffees in the drive through! If I could have gotten out and left I would have. The employee that took our order had lack of enthusiasm on her voice, and when we finally made it to the window u could now see that she either was new or didn't want to work. I get there will me new employees everywhere it's the holidays but her demeanor backed her voice, a simple sorry for the wait or even a smile or eye contact. One of the friendliest StarBucks I have ever come across. The drive thru can be confusing but for the most part it rocks. I ordered my iced coffee and I noticed I had forgotten my wallet at home and i felt like a dummy. They said no problem your order is on the house. I came back later to pay for my drink and they insisted to keep my money and not pay for it. I have never come a crossed or even remotely came close to another Starbucks customer service. But when they give you your bagel 10 minutes before you get your coffee, and they ask if you need anything else, and your comment is I just hope my bagel doesn't get cold by the time I get home. Had a great experience today, thanks to Dan! I had two people cut right in front of me in line and apparently Dan saw this and immediately went to the other register and let me know he would take my order. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by employees before. Starbucks is known for making specialty drinks for people so I always order a chai tea & I personally add a tiny bit of creamer at the station because I don't like how much milk is in the chai latte. Ever other Starbucks I have been to has had no problems with this & I get charged regular price. This morning I had the barista argue with me & refuse to give me my tea without paying more & then to too it off she instead gave me a cup of syrup & then refused to refill the half & half. The original manager is gone and so is the great staff. They told me they have hired 20 new people lately. That shows you how bad things had become at this store. I ask for one of my regular drinks and the usual ice water and they gave me grief about the size. Up until lately I went to this Starbucks EVERY MORNING. Not anymore. I hate starbucks with a passion. They don't support the military, they want us to DONATE $5 every time we walk in to an unemployment fund? How much did they donate? The sweet women taking my order was really patient even tho she could barley hear me (cos of my raspy throat). She made sure my order was correct. I've seen the manager harrass people for being in the building using their laptop and scream that it's for paying customers only. And force them to leave after being in there for only 15 minutes or so. Horrible customer service. They never greet or say hello.
