This Starbucks was chaotic and the line was long. We waited over 30 minutes to get to the counter and another 20 minutes to get our drinks. While waiting in line, we checked out the merchandise and bought some souvenir mugs. Our drinks were made just right and we enjoyed them. The staff were robots cranking out drinks left and right. With the high volume of customers, they could use a larger space with more help.

Starbucks in the Airport is always busy. Nonstop! I recognize good work when I see it. These ladies are efficient and always smiling. Just role modeling hospitality. They call me by name. They distinguish whether your order is mobile so you know it's yours. This tremendously helps work accuracy and reducing the chance of creating upset customers. The food is always hot. That Caffe' Mocha wasn't sweet at all. I had to add 2 sugars. Crazy. Maybe next time they'll get it together. I throughly enjoyed it tho.

Starbucks at Kahului Airport on the Island of Maui ... On my way home to Honolulu from Las Vegas, I had a stopover at Kahului Airport. Because I had about an hour between flights, I thought that I may as well take a look at the merchandise in Starbucks (as I passed by on my way to the departure gate). To my surprise, ALL of the newly released tumblers were on the shelf! I wasn't expecting to see them because they had arrived on November 4th and today was the 6th of November! I went to three Starbucks in Las Vegas and only found one of the seasonal tumblers. OMG! The ENTIRE collection was here on Maui before my eyes! I was in shock! My next thoughts were: Should I buy them ALL ??? Will they fit in my hand carries??? Should I buy any for anyone else??? Here are the answers to the above questions: I talked to myself into getting them all because they are so rare. Hawaiian Airlines is usually nice about extra carry-on bags. I posted photos on the Facebook page for Starbucks tumbler collectors. I couldn't carry all of the goods at one time, so I grabbed a few and put them on the side of the cashier several times. I told the people standing in line that I'm going to the back of the line after I finish gathering the merchandise. Haha! When I got to the nice cashier, I asked her if I would be able to use my Stars towards the merchandise. She wasn't sure, and she said she will attempt it. Whew!!! The transaction went through! I was able to redeem 400 Starbucks Stars towards $19.95 worth of merchandise!!! Yippee!!! I grabbed my packages and went to a nearby bench to shuffle my cups into my two carry-on bags. It all squeezed in perfectly! When I got to my gate, I looked at my Facebook messages and saw that someone in Honolulu wanted a small collectible ornament. I ran back to Starbucks made my purchase and scurried back to my gate where boarding had begun already. Long story short: I met my new Facebook friend at Windward Mall in Kaneohe where she gave me a finder's fee for the Starbucks ornament! What a nice surprise! She said she could have bought it online for $40, but instead, she paid me $20 for a $10.38 purchase! Awesome! Thank you! She was really happy because she had been looking for this ornament for a while! The moral of the story is: Good deeds get rewarded! Another lesson learned: schedule a layover on a neighbor Island and look for a Starbucks at the airport... And make sure to save some space in the carry-on bags for unplanned purchases!

Starbucks in Maui Airport We had a long layover in Maui then an additional 2-hour delay on top of that (one hour of it was spent when we were already on board the plane) so we had a lot of down time in the airport, not exactly the way I'd like to spend what little vacay time I had left in Maui. This was the only Starbucks located in the Kahului Airport [OGG] and because of that the line was always long. It was everything you would expect from a Starbucks and then some with a cheery "Aloha" sign on a small chalkboard "from your Kahului Airport baristas" to their friendly service. They try to get you out of there quickly so you can be on your merry way. Got me The Impossible Breakfast Burger with my Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino and I was a happy camper. The friendly cashier was patient in ringing me up five Hawaii souvenir gift cards... no complaints, no grumbling. It's a Starbucks... no more, no less. Located in the main terminal (central building). Review #2307

I think this is the only Starbucks at this gates, so make sure as soon as you pass TSA you place your order online. It will be ready for pick up. Staff is working non stop for the long line. So get everything ordered. Don't forget to bring your stainless water bottle and fill it up with ice water from Starbucks!! You have to give Starbucks some profits but rather than buying a warm bottle of water you'll get ice water for the flight!

6-27-2021 Kahului Airport's Starbucks seemed WAY busier than Honolulu's Starbucks for sure. Being practically the only thing open besides the newsstand if you arrive on the first flight in, they pretty much have the monopoly on coffee and light items to eat. The restaurant and food concessions open much later. This day in particular the line was ridiculously LONG yet people who know the quality of their products would join that long line. The brewed or shaken beverages are made to order which contributes to the sluggishly slow decrease in the line's formation yet was worth the wait. Prepared on Hawaiian time...try wait leetle bit...you'll be glad you did

Only good option after you come out of the boarding area...picked up a hot chocolate and a pastry which they get from La Boulange.

All the Maui Oma bean varieties we purchased and brought home with us have been excellent. After some research we found Maui Oma's retail space was located in Kumu Farms Market which is located in Maui Tropical Plantation. They offer many different coffees (peaberry coffees, espresso roast, lots of blends), some tools and small equipment for coffee making, and cool Maui Oma merch. Wish they had a tasting station with coffee samples so we get to know all the different coffees and can make easier/quicker choices. They have line cards next to each coffee explaining the roast, origin and flavor profile, but nothing beats sampling them. The cafe next door serves Maui Oma coffee but it's not a place where you can choose the type of Maui Oma beans you want brewed. They don't really showcase the Maui Oma brand by at least telling you what they are brewing. Regardless, I was just happy to try a cup of their coffee at the cafe. I'm not a big coffee connoisseur because of a health condition I have and caffeine can affect me but I do love coffee (even if it doesn't love me) but I'll usually go with a Tea option or Smoothie. I decided on a simple smoothie so I got the Keiki Smoothie with Banana, Strawberry and Apple Juice. I asked the waitress what sandwich is the most popular and she said the Turkey Pesto Melt and boy did that hit! It really was the BEST sandwich. It was on a crispy, flaky...and might I add...buttery croissant with thick slices of turkey, tomato, creamy pesto aioli and melted provolone! It came with some chips and dill pickle on the side. The only downside was the price-it was about $17 so I'm sure I'll treat myself once in a good while to this. My small smoothie was $8 but refreshing nonetheless. I love the vibes inside with hanging plants and art work throughout. There was someone doing remote work or school in the corner with her sleepy golden retriever next to her, a few locals outside and some visitors inside.
