Storefront... at the rotunda between Gates 16 and 17

Finishing up a Starbucks challenge... I just needed one more purchase to get 50 Bonus Stars in the 6-day challenge and 35 Bonus Stars for ordering three iced teas. Angel and I had a layover at the Kahului (Maui) Airport (OGG) when she discovered a Starbucks nearby. Located between Gate 16 and 17 in the Rotunda, there was a short line that moved quickly because the gal at the cash register was really efficient! I asked her if this Starbucks location participates in the Personal Cup program (25 Bonus Stars and 10 cents discount)... yes! Okay! As I was leaving, I noticed the Halloween 2023 Glow-in-the-dark Reusable cup set. It would be a great gift to share among my nephew and nieces! I was able to get the set for free by redeeming 400 Stars! Yippee! Thank you for the convenience, great service, and reliability! I enjoyed my iced tea on The Valley Isle and will bring happiness to Oahu with the fun Reusable cups!

If I didn't have points, this drink would have run me over $11!!! Considering the price of Starbucks and then topping it off with the price of Paradise, you would think the servers would be friendly. Not this barista! I requested a straw and she literally launched one at me. I said thank you and she turned away without even looking at me to acknowledge me. I am a local girl and this woman showed no aloha at all! Very disturbing!

Starbucks offers that pick me up whenever I need my matcha fix. It's that first sip feeling always puts a smile on my face. Plus this Starbucks pit stop was at the very beginning of my journey. Which also happened to be my very first time out of the country. Starting at the Kahului airport Starbucks, with my first stop in Cali with another pit stop in Rome then arriving at my final destination France. Just a vacation I could have only imagined in my dreams. So thank you for kicking off my journey with a tasty beginning to my happily ever after.

Starbucks! The 125 Stars that you earn by spending your Bucks! There's something seductive about the Iconic image of the smiling Siren, luring you into the line as the aroma of their delicious fresh roasted coffee captivates and arouses my Java cravings! The selection of baked goods always tempt me too! I find myself scanning the ever changing flavors on the menu board and thinking what new innovative coffee or tea drink I should order today. I am quickly redirected to my need to limit my sugar intake, and steer clear of those fabulous Carmel Walls and other sugar laden creations and settle for a sugar Free Vanilla Frappuccino affogato-style! Those luscious expresso shots poured over at the end! Make a Magnificent Moment! Wait! Today the Green Tea Matcha with Lemonade has caught my eye and thirst! That Frappuccino will wait for one of my future Rewards Redemptions! Yes, I admit to being a Starbucks Coffee Lover, Electronic Gold Card Carrying Member and Java and Green Tea Junkie, that just can't get enough of that Starbucks Satisfaction!

Two slices of toast topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon, red onion, capers, and fresh dill, served with a side salad tossed in a balsamic dressing. They even include a lemon wedge to squeeze over your salmon. Such a thoughtful touch, and it's almost too pretty to eat. This is my very favorite thing to order here. Don't get me wrong, I drool over their pastries, especially the medialuna. But when I want a light lunch that is still filling and savory, this is it. Everything tastes fresh and put together with care. If you haven't been to Momona Bakery yet, go for the pastries, stay for the salmon toast.

I ended up trying the Mango Danish, and it was outstanding. The pastry was beautifully flaky, buttery, and crisp, while the mango filling was fresh, vibrant, and not overly sweet. Every bite tasted like a perfect blend of classic pastry and tropical Maui flavors. The bakery was clean, inviting, and smelled amazing the moment I walked in. The staff was friendly and efficient, even with a steady flow of customers. If you're in Maui and love pastries, Momona is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Lattes. I forget what they were. One had coconut and the other was some sort of Carrot cake. Both were a 5/5.

All the Maui Oma bean varieties we purchased and brought home with us have been excellent. After some research we found Maui Oma's retail space was located in Kumu Farms Market which is located in Maui Tropical Plantation. They offer many different coffees (peaberry coffees, espresso roast, lots of blends), some tools and small equipment for coffee making, and cool Maui Oma merch. Wish they had a tasting station with coffee samples so we get to know all the different coffees and can make easier/quicker choices. They have line cards next to each coffee explaining the roast, origin and flavor profile, but nothing beats sampling them. The cafe next door serves Maui Oma coffee but it's not a place where you can choose the type of Maui Oma beans you want brewed. They don't really showcase the Maui Oma brand by at least telling you what they are brewing. Regardless, I was just happy to try a cup of their coffee at the cafe. Shout out on the sleek, tasteful packaging design and quality. Perfect for gifting.

The gentleman who was working with the dolly looked like the owner in the picture on Yelp. Never said anything to us. While we stood around. The security guard was really nice. The store next door opened at 9. The employee had cracked the door open and I spoke to him to see when they opened since we couldn't get a cup of coffee. He was sweet enough to let us in to buy the coffee beans. I was thankful for let us go it.

Since it was Sunday, I decided today was the day. I'm not a big coffee connoisseur because of a health condition I have and caffeine can affect me but I do love coffee (even if it doesn't love me) but I'll usually go with a Tea option or Smoothie. I decided on a simple smoothie so I got the Keiki Smoothie with Banana, Strawberry and Apple Juice. I asked the waitress what sandwich is the most popular and she said the Turkey Pesto Melt and boy did that hit! It really was the BEST sandwich. It was on a crispy, flaky...and might I add...buttery croissant with thick slices of turkey, tomato, creamy pesto aioli and melted provolone! It came with some chips and dill pickle on the side. The only downside was the price-it was about $17 so I'm sure I'll treat myself once in a good while to this. My small smoothie was $8 but refreshing nonetheless. I love the vibes inside with hanging plants and art work throughout. There was someone doing remote work or school in the corner with her sleepy golden retriever next to her, a few locals outside and some visitors inside. The workers are friendly and I saw one clean the outside tables right away after a few parties left. A nice spot to hit up for some nice breakfast, lunch and a coffee with a friend.
