Should be cold brew salt cream foam. Foam didn't even last the drive out.
    Laura L.

So i usually love this sbux it is my go to every Monday thru Friday. But these last two days it has been Terrible I made it a point to mention if they could make cold foam correctly. I could see the barista struggling asking the other counterparts and they were just like looks fine let's go. No sir she need to whip that foam. Maybe a refresher course? Please guys let's figure it out I love this drink!!

Half full- tall caramel brûlée :(

Normally my only issue with this location is the accessibility of it (the front of the building is one way traffic- so difficult to maneuver when the drive through line is long), but I went today to pick up a Caramel Brûlée and received a cup that was half full- and this included whip cream. I have been to this location a handful of times and this is the first time this has happened, so I hope it was just an off day for them.

Could be a little cleaner as I waited for my Zombie Frappe, I noticed the high table tops in front of the registers had crumbs etc. but well at least they were really fast and friendly, I went around 2pm Friday during lunch break and no one was in, minus one guy on a laptop and another woman waiting for an order. This shop pulled through when the Starbucks on corner of W. 34th & 290 fwy failed to call or notify on starbucks app before placing my Zombie Frappe order that they RAN OUT. So.. when I got to that one, they told me all late which was a bummer, but luckily this one had it. I have to say that the Zombie Frappe at first sip tasted terrible, it tasted like rancid/sour chocolate milk, but when you mix it (like really good) it doesn't taste so bad, or maybe I got used to the taste. It was sour (sour apple) and chocolatey, had a banana flavor, so kind of like a sour banana split(?) the fact that it was really cold made it more tolerable and the whip cream alone tasted okay, but maybe overly sweet for me. WELL AGAIN mixed really good it wasn't TOO BAD, but still tasted pretty bad compared to other drinks on the menu, even the Unicorn Frappe was a lot better, I actually liked the Unicorn Frappe quite a bit!! I regret not getting a larger size for that one, but usually for these kinds of drinks I always get the smallest in case I can't stomach down the rest of it. I also have tried their iced tea fusion blends that my sister introduced me to... the shaked iced passion tango(passion fruit) lemonade is amazingly delicious and refreshing on a hot day. First time I had this drink was with one of their Chicken & Double-Smoked Bacon sandwiches which was nice and toasty, the bacon wasn't all soggy, everything was crisp and fresh. Personally I could chew on the bread all day.. XD My experience with Starbucks, I have liked the times I've visited and it was very quiet, on one occasion I was able to stay there for about two hours playing Final Fantasy on my Surface Pro, it was very fun, and more than likely will go again for their passion lemonade and to freeload off the wifi. ^w^

Friendly neighborhood Starbucks! I wasn't sure this place was going to be the same after the 290 construction moved it down the strip center and took over half the parking lot. It's actually better, I go out of my way to get to this Starbucks as opposed to the one on 34th and 290. Drink orders are always made correctly and staff is super friendly. It's not one of those packed loud Starbucks. I've found that this is a nice place to relax in the middle of the day or just find some quiet time.

This location now has a drive through.
    Mark B.

Since this Starbuck's location moved 2 doors down to the east corner of the strip center, it has fewer tables than the original location had, but they now have a drive thru. Thanks to the 290 expansion, they have fewer parking spaces directly in front of the storefront, but they still have plenty of parking. Comparing to other locations, the staff here know their stuff and are pretty friendly.

    Yep....no lids. :(

The nuttiness of the sesame goes SOOO well with the espresso taste and it's a good creaminess too. I also like the texture of the bits of sesame seeds in the drink. The aesthetic of the cafe is modern with street-style flairs, it's a really cool space. I also love that there are Filipino flavors on the menu like ube and pandan. Most workers are super nice and say your name like they know you. They're also super attentive to ensure that everything with your order is perfect. Jonah was very welcoming and helpful, making sure we got a menu while in line! The weekdays seem to be better for wait-time, with little to no wait. The weekends however are packed and usually have lines. If you're not a line person, I would definitely come on a weekday. TwoTone is probably the best specialty coffee you can get in Houston, especially in terms of Asian flavors and creaminess. If it was closer to inner Houston, I would probably come here everyday.

You can tell they care about quality, and I absolutely understand why this place stays busy. That being said, the wait time was very long. I waited about 30 minutes from the time I ordered to actually receiving my coffee, and this was on a Wednesday around 10 a.m. I'm not sure if that's their normal flow, but it was packed. Thankfully I didn't have anywhere to be, because if you're stopping in before work or during a tight schedule, definitely plan ahead and expect a wait. The only real downside for me was the timing and ordering process. Spending close to $10 on one coffee plus waiting that long makes this feel more like an occasional treat rather than an everyday coffee run. I'll admit I may have been a little cranky from the wait, but I do think it's fair feedback. Overall though, my coffee was delicious, and because of that, I would absolutely give them another chance. Good things take time, I guess.

They also have a spacious parking lot, which was convenient. Since I had my dog with me, I stepped inside briefly to confirm that the patio was open before settling in. I greeted the young woman at the counter and asked if patio seating was available. She responded, "Yes, because dogs are not allowed inside." That felt unnecessary. I was clearly asking about the patio for that exact reason. I was not attempting to sit indoors, and I understand health regulations. She then added that the Houston Health Department could walk in at any moment. Again, I was not trying to dine inside. I simply wanted to confirm patio access so I could enjoy a coffee outside. I asked if someone would be outside to take my order. She said no. So I asked if she could take my order right then so I could immediately head out to the patio. She agreed, but her tone and demeanor felt dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable. At that point, I decided to leave. If the patio is dog friendly, there should be a smoother process for solo customers with pets. A simple, "Yes, the patio is open. Let me take your order now so you can head outside," would have made this quick and easy. Advisory: If you are visiting with a dog, I would recommend bringing another person with you. If you are alone, the ordering process may be awkward, as you cannot remain inside with your dog while placing your order. I would have happily spent money here, but the service made the visit feel more procedural than welcoming.

The listing for this exact location says "pets welcome," so I felt confident stopping by. However, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two customers fawning over my dog. Before any staff member greeted me or even acknowledged me as a customer, someone from behind the far counter told me that dogs were not allowed inside. I mentioned that their Google listing says pets are welcome, and the response was that it applies to a different location. That would be fine if it were clear, but the listing I checked had this location's address directly underneath "pets welcome." That is confusing and misleading. What made it more frustrating was the lack of hospitality. There was no greeting, no attempt to clarify kindly, no "We're sorry for the confusion," and no effort to offer a solution like helping me quickly order to go. It felt dismissive. Clear and accurate information matters. If pets are not welcome at this location, the listing should reflect that. I drove out of my way based on that detail, and it ended up being a waste of time and gas. Because of that experience, I chose not to patronize the this location but may try another location one day.

One corner of the room is charmingly not quite tidy, as if the café itself were whispering: "Relax. Real life happens here." Industrial ducts snake overhead, large windows flood the space with natural light, and sociability seems to circulate as freely as the air. Now, the coffee: a revelation. The espresso is concentrated civilization -- exactly as it should be -- and the cappuccino is an elegant balance of foam and depth, not one of those half-liter dairy-fatigue exercises from anonymous multi-national chains-that-shall-not-be-named. The staff? Friendly, knowledgeable, and disarmingly competent -- the sort of people who know precisely why this bean tastes like citrus and chocolate instead of simply shrugging at the universe. In sum: Tenfold isn't just a café; it's a microcosm of a city that thrives on difference. A place where everyone, no matter their background, finds caffeine, community, and a seat at the table.
