The parking lot here is pretty dingy, but there was plenty of parking so that was a good thing. They made my beverage correctly, so that's also a good thing. And when I came in the young lady behind the counter said hi and actually smiled, and sometimes that's not always the case. At the Starbucks location on El Segundo Blvd I ordered 2 Frappacinos. Upon arrival home, I realised that something was wrong as both drinks tasted as if they were coffeeless. I drove back and they gracioisly remade them. Again, both drinks tasted coffeeless. I have never, returned anything I have purchased at SB's, I am a Gold Card member, and I often purchase Frappacinos. Frustrated, I drove to Starbucks on Rosecrans Ave and explained what had occurred. I asked if I could purchase a shot that would rectify the situation. Niko, taking orders, said they could remake the drinks for me, which surprised/impressed me. I went to Starbucks today and my barista was named Koko, she was extremely rude and when I asked the code for the restroom she looked at me and turned away, it wasn't untill I acknowledged here coworker that she told me the restroom was occupied. Whenever others would asked for the code she would tell them, then notify them it was occupied. I then got my drink which I asked for with no coconut due to my allergy, and they gave it to me with coconut reguardkess of me having asked twice if it had coconut milk. After going to countless Starbucks we finally found the ONE! Because of convenience we usually go to the Starbucks on Inglewood and Hawthorne although they are extremely RUDE ! Today we stop by this Starbucks after Costco and Ale & Adela assisted us. These 2 need to be part of Management, their kind attitudes and hospitality was beyond measure. They are definitely gems. Shortly after we paid and waited for our drinks, i suddenly remembered, I forgot to ask for an extra shot of espresso. To my surprise Ale was more than willing to still add the shot although she was basically done. I mean, who would do that? With NO attitude but helpfulness Ale and Adela made our experience amazing and most memorable! We are defiantly going to come back again to visit these 2! I love going to this Starbucks for the past two years until the recent experience I had with the manager. For the past couple days I keep being told by the baristas to purchase an item in order to continue using the outlets to charge my devices. I usually purchase a yogurt and get the Venti ice waters. Apparently there is complaints that people are hogging the outlets and that non purchases customers will be put on a timer to buy an item or they will be asked to move. I have been referred to as a non purchasing customer in a diminutive manner even though I have spent two years worth of purchases at this location. I purchased an apple juice in the afternoon yesterday when I arrived at the store. I sat in a seat with an outlet. A couples hours pass and the barista informs me that I need to purchase another item or I need to leave the store, now I am very confused at this point because I cant find anywhere in the Starbucks code that you have to KEEP purchasing items in order to stay there. I speak with the manager and she tells me that me being there is driving away business because I am hogging the outlets because I don't constantly purchase items so I am pushing customers away. The manager told me that because I am at the store 10 hours sometimes that I "hang out" all day long. I haven't been at this location in a week because I was visiting family in Northern California and I told the manager that and she had paused and was trying to say that I am there hogging outlets which is very confusing. For the past couple of months I have been going to this Starbucks after work for two hours and going home so I am confused on how I am hogging the outlets. I was the only one in the store to keep being told to purchase something and the it seems like the manager may not like me. I feel like a am being discriminated against by the manager and Starbucks is supposed to be a safe space especially for someone who is a POC. Once inside, I was greeted by a barista and you will find a communal table in the middle of the store along with smaller tables along the edge with window views.
