I explained my dilemma to the counter person, Flavio, and he calmed my fears...hooked me up with a grilled cheese, chips, and a pink cake pop in a jiffy...all while cracking jokes and decorating my daughter's paper bag with a hand drawn smiley face. Great customer service really goes a long way in these times and so thankful to have received it that day. As for the food? Glad to relax a few. This one it's best to park on the main lot, as spaces are limited. That mocha frappe hit the spot. After walking right after the chiropractor, must say it wasn't too pleasant. Yet at least the treat made it better. Occasionally I'll get their coffee, but unless several blends, usually overrated and overpriced. Some love them, but I feel their coffees are meh overall. Very clean store. It can be busy, as there are a lot of businesses in the area. Props to the friendly and efficient staff. Today had headphones on and cranked some music, to just deal with the back pain. Thank you to the free WiFi. This is a decent one to visit. Starbucks coffee isn't my favorite coffee but it gets the job done. I think this location specifically has great staff that always write friendly messages on the cups! All of their coffee and food is as good as any other Starbucks. Food ordered by the app is ready every time I get there. There is a moderate amount of seating and could be good for studying or reading a book. The store is clean and comfortable. read more

This Starbucks was always just ok, certainly not a great representation of the brand in terms of service. My favorite is the Starbucks in Kamp Washington, but we live near Pan Am. Since re-opening post-COVID, the baristas are really short and impatient with any changes/requests. God forbid a drink one day tastes off and I need it remade. Some of the requests on drinks are not available to request in the app - don't be frustrated at customers! Recently we went in and with our drinks, asked for a puppucino for our pup in the car. The barista was totally annoyed, didn't even hide it. I didn't check the puppucino until I got back to the car, but I opened the lid and found literally a dollop of whipped cream. That has never happened to me before. You had to be so stingy to give a dollop of whipped cream? My puppy couldn't even reach it, we threw it out. Decent, usually reliable Starbucks at popular Pan Am mall on Nutley and near 66. It's next to a Safeway so you could do your groceries too after. I find that this location is usually between a 3-4 stars in terms of quality and consistency. Some days the coffee will be perfectly made, some days it'll be way too sweet, such as when I had the sugar cookie latte which was really not my thing. They usually have multiple baristas on staff and service has always been friendly and they are pretty quick unless they have a lot of customers. Overall, a reliable place to get that caffeine pick me up. read more

I came here with a plan today because I wanted to try something different. We'll sort of. Instead of my usual pumpkin spice latte, I decided to go for the iced pumpkin cream chai tea latte instead. It is actually quite good, and I'm almost ready to call it one of my new favorites! With this iced tea latte, I've been able to drink it much faster, and enjoy more of it that way! The is location isn't the usual store that Info to while on my way to work, but I've been here a couple of times. This store is much more subdued than what you would find at most other locations. I think it's because of the fact that the closer that you get to the city, the more customers and subsequent chaos exists. Even though it's quite busy at around 8:30am on a Saturday, the store itself is quite chill. There are about four tables with chairs inside for people to relax or do work. I moved to this high rent area just off of 29 within walking distance of this Starbuck. Being up front, not a Starbucks zombie (Caribou and Nordies E-bar much better). This has got to be the most disgusting storefront ever, It's attached to a shopping center (PanAm) right next to a Martial Arts place and the Safeway -located on the corner. It has 3 or 4 tables (for 2) outside on the sidewalk- it's covered so great on weather problem days. However, at night when walking to the Safeway, I notice homeless people camping out at the tables or on the sidewalk. There are always mystery fluids and matter on the sidewalk and it is sooooooo disgusting. I used to work in DC at Chinatown and it reminds me of seeing the drugged up dude peeing on the side of the building in broad daylight. Anyway, the outside makes me puke so I would never recommend unless you are desperate for their coffee. Note to Starbucks: Spray down that nasty sidewalk- at least weekly and spruce up your image. read more

The frap tasted like it had something leftover from the last drink and the bottom was un-drinkable iced sludge. I have been ordering this drink for years, so I know what I should be getting. My most recent experience was this past Sunday. In short, the lady at the register wasn't the friendliest person in the world, but it may have just been an off day for her. I like this Starbucks because most of the seating is facing one direction and no one is staring back at you...which is great when you're trying to work with no distractions. Also, the guy at the register was nice and made my drink quickly and deliciously..but then again, it is just iced green tea unsweetened. As a former Starbucks employee, I understand how Starbucks works and this location is garbage. First, I walk in and the staff is completely nonchalant about the customers and not very welcoming. I then order my drink, and I watch him make it completely wrong. I ordered a Iced Grande Carmel Macchiato with non-fat milk, ristretto shots and whip. My drink was made incorrectly, the shots died, he forgot to put whip the first time and he didn't even taste the carmel pumps because the shots were dead. Not to mention, he didn't even put in ristretto shots... they taste like normal shots and I saw him push the normal shots. As a former employee, I know how to make drinks and how they are supposed to taste as I was a certified barista. This is now the 2nd time this has happened at this location. I usually like coming to this Starbucks. The service is good and all usually BUT today the old lady at the register named Keri made my trip here very unpleasant. She's obviously is a bad mood, probably woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something but she sure doesn't need to be letting everyone know that she's just hating life right now. I think that the staff at this particular Starbucks are some of the nicest employees in the company! One time I was having a really bad morning so I came to get a breather and they totally brightened my day. The man who ordered before me earned a coupon for a free drink but he left before taking it and didn't respond to their calls. Since I was next in line they were happy to give it to me.
