Peet's has the best pumpkin flavor! It's not too sweet and taste so good hot or cold. I got a dirty pumpkin chai latte for the first time and it did not disappoint. Listen. Peet's coffee completely blew my mind. I wandered into the shop on a random Saturday when I was visiting a friend in Fairfax. I needed a pick-me-up before my drive home so I ordered a vanilla iced latte. My first sip of this coffee literally stopped me in my tracks. The flavor is so deep and rich and full of full-bodied coffee taste. I was honestly shocked. I stop at various chains for coffee every day on my way to work, and the service here is like nothing I've ever experienced. Just not in a good way! Today, there was no latte waiting when I arrived to pick up my mobile order. That happens sometimes, but when I inquired about it, the manager said she couldn't help me because I showed her "only" evidence of my order on the Peet's mobile app. She said I had to have *an e-mail from the company* before she could help me. And started to walk away. After I found and then produced the email, she then asked for name and my order. Then she muttered and started whispering to her colleagues about me, like my coffee order for which I had paid $8.20 and arrived at the scheduled time was some trick I was trying to pull over on them. (??) ...This shop is located along my route to work, but the employees mostly act like they'd prefer you didn't order -- and didn't stop by. Coming in on a Monday night, I was surprised by the numbers of tutors taking place! It was nice to see! I ordered the horchata cold brew and was heavily disappointed that it didn't have any hints of horchata. I wouldn't recommend ordering it if you're expecting it to taste like it. To be honest I go to Starbucks more but whenever there is an opportunity to go to Peet's, this location is my go-to. Nice baristas and service and good quality coffee. The white mocha is good and smooth. Last time I was here, I luckily scored a free one as someone didn't pick up their order so the barista just gave it to me. Wonderful staff here! Absolutely love the folks who work here. You'll be hard pressed to find better. Peet's and this location, all seem to do a fine job hiring polite people. Maybe other restaurants and coffee places, should look at what they're doing. This is my favorite location. I love the mocha frappe's here, as they have the best ones available. As for the regular coffees they're quite tasty. For whatever reason some seem to be a little acidic, but that could be on my end. I do wish they'd have a few more food choices. Met a friend here for a cuppa. Never been to a Peet's but have definitely purchased their java from the grocery store. This was a nice change from Starbucks but no less of an option and completely comparable. This place is beautiful. The decor was clean, nice and inviting, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the options were aplenty. My friend had already ordered and was saving a table when I arrived so I proceeded to order a Matcha Green Tea Latte and a little packaged snack. The latte was good but a little weak; nothing major to discourage me and I will def ask for it stronger next time. Snack was nom-nom. It is located in a fairly newish strip mall at the intersection of Little River Turnpike & Pickett (across from Woodson HS). There is plenty of parking and plenty of walking/shopping, should you decided to take your bev on a journey. You can also choose to hang inside and chill or go al fresco, wonderful weather permitting. I found a parking spot right away, no prob and was delighted at that fact. I also was amazed at how sparkling clean the restroom was, wow - it really makes a girl happy. ;) All in all, fantastic experience and I will hit it up again on my next trip to DSW or Marshall's. read more

I come here every week sometimes 5 times a week! Been coming here for a while. Great atmosphere very cozy but not sleep inducing. Very clean bathrooms and clean store as well. Peet's offers seasonal beverages (such as the Golden Caffe Latte), coffee & espresso, blended drinks, tea, and various food items (such as baked goods, grab & go meals, and breakfast sammies). I usually stick to their Chai Latte, with light ice; this has a strong chai flavor to it, and you can always customize with the type of milk/cream you would like to use as well as the strongness of the chai flavor. I found my drink to be nice and creamy, and a great to start off the morning! The place itself is bright and cheery, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. There are a few tables inside as well as some patio tables located outside for those who like to dine al fresco. If a cup of Peet's doesn't bring a smile to your face then I don't know what will. I like that almost every time my order comes with some form of latte art. That extra little touch makes my coffee and my day more enjoyable! Not to mention that my most recent visit included trying out a horchata oat milk latte, which I have never seen anywhere else offer. It was delicious! The baristas are always super friendly. My husband ordered a coffee that came out iced (I'm pretty sure I heard him say iced!) but he told the barista that he ordered a hot drink or at least meant to order a hot drink. The barista also recommended coconut syrup which was quite delicious. I enjoyed my stay here very much. I was in the company of my Good Friend Brian who got a iced vanilla latte. I had some time before an appointment and found this Peet's around the corner. I was greeted upon arrival and the cashier was very nice even tho it was early. I got an espresso chai latte and bacon egg cheese on brioche which were both great. The breakfast sammy was better than any at Starbucks. The barista was nice and said thank you to everyone. I spotted this coffee shop while driving around Fairfax and I'm glad I did. First off, they have Golden Lattes!!! How cool! The golden Chai is absolutely delicious, so sad they don't have it in Atlanta. Anyways, I ordered a iced vanilla latte. Apparently for their iced drinks they add steamed foam on top which is different. I used to work at Starbucks, so seeing an "iced cappuccino" used as a stable at this cafe was super cool. I think it's not common to give a high rating to a coffee shop chain, but Peet's is a bit in the grey area. Peet's may be a chain but their quality of drinks and staff is on par. The employees there are friendly, kinda reminds me of how Caribou Coffee used to be. I've tried their cold brew and lattes. They always have new drink creations coming out. I'm giving this place three stars because I can't think of anything more frustrating trying to use a coffee shop's Internet that just doesn't work! Every coffee shop's marketing campaign is, "Come hang out, do work, and drink coffee!" As Jay & Silent Bob would say, It's all a big ruse! I'm using my phone's hotspot to write since the wireless isn't working here. I'm a network engineer and I see these problems every day. It's usually a crappy wireless controller or DHCP Server (not DHCP issue this time). Places like get the crappiest equipment just to say they have free wireless. But don't get me wrong, they probably paid an arm and a leg for some expensive contractor. I'll give them the extra stars because I DO think their coffee is the best you can get around here, chain or not. Their food offerings need some work though. It's basically some cookies and muffins, and bread. They should get some ideas from Au Bon Pain which does a great job with pastries. I know some people may disagree with my review but too bad! It's my review, write your own! :) Update: Gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again today. Same result. Internet almost works for about 20 seconds and then dies. I couldn't even finish a speed test. Peets just opened in Fairfax so of course I had to make a stop to see if this place was legit enough to replace caribou..now I must admit I haven't actually had coffee from caribou -.- yikes... but if you have good coffee I'm there. So the place is definitely bigger then I thought and it is brightly lit. It looks like a place people go to get work done. I think everyone I saw had a laptop on each table.They all could've had a business meeting or a study group lol. The line is a bit confusing because there is no distinguishing where the line officially starts. I feel like most coffee places get things backwards... I mean to have your coffee pick up towards the back of the stores is a bit strange... its like your going backwards. But anyway... that is a design issue with all coffee shops. Peets menu if very minimal which I like because it gives you options to customize what you want. Your not overwhelmed by what they have. They separate their bean selection from the drinks so that if you just looking for brewed coffee you don't have to look at all the other drinks. I love the option of almond milk in a latte.Seriously I wish all coffee places offered that... soymilk is so overrated. Review: Looks like a decent study place however its not the biggest seating area which means you better get their early if you want a spot. Coffee..well here is the issue Coffee is different according to my father who got a plain iced coffee..he is too used to Starbucks sweeting it for you that the option of adding simple syrup makes him feel like the coffee was watered down. My brother got an iced vanilla latte... too much 2% milk and not enough vanilla. I got an almond milk latte my latte was not bad almond milk tends to give off a nuttier taste then regular plain old milk which is to be expected for me since I love almond milk. So I was happy. An alternative to Starbucks that is equally satisfying. Starbucks may be the top coffee shop today but Peet's is slowly rising to be its top competitor. Not only is their regular coffee stronger and better, it doesn't have that awful aftertaste that Starbucks can sometimes have. I sometimes opt for tea and even though the tea I get is only seasonal here, it's still amazing. It's the jasmine lime iced tea, which still has a lot of the tea flavor combined with a refreshing lime. As a tea enthusiast, I recommend trying this. Peet's is around the same price as Starbucks can be. It's inexpensive to me but depends on how important coffee and tea is to you. I love that it is near NVCC because sometimes the bookstore cafe is just terrible. I would much rather come here if I really need my fix at a better quality for the same price. They have a lot of unique drinks to try too, so if you're used to Starbucks then they have similar drinks but in different forms. Give it a try and you might even become a regular. read more

I was very excited when I heard that Peet's was coming to Fairfax. The actual shop layout and seating could be rated 4 stars. There is plenty of seating, including two bar type styles, which is great for someone coming in by themselves. There is a lot of natural light and several tables outside with umbrellas. There are several outlets and a nice big table that seats 6-8 comfortably for a larger group. One thing that doesn't make sense is that the pick up area for coffee is in the far back corner instead of the middle of the store, which requires one to huddle by the bathroom to wait for his or her drink. I had a cappuccino and it was just ok. Nothing spectacular. I had a ham and cheese croissant and I was quite disappointed that it was not served warm. Their food leaves one wanting more and there are not a lot of options. Starbucks has really upped their game with their new line of pastries and Peet's needs to look into catching up with the competition. They sell Chemex (a pour over coffee tool) but when I asked if they did pour overs, I was initially told yes and that they use a french press. A french press should not be confused with a Chemex and hopefully the barristas will quickly learn the difference. If Peet's is going to go through the trouble of offering a Chemex for purchase, I think it only makes sense that drinks made with a Chemex are available for purchase. I will definately be visiting Peet's again, and I hope that their food options will improve. I will update my review when I feel like the above has either been addressed or changes. read more

Another Peet's, another great coffee. I can't say it enough that Peet's is THE place for a coffee experience. Inside is remarkably clean, friendly staff and a comfortable inside setting, like you're at home. This parking lot in front of the shop is mostly 15 min parking, but if you move over to the side lot you can have regular parking for however long you'd like. There is TONS of shops near by, so if you're in the area, don't think twice about stopping by and seeing your friends a Peet's! read more

So happy Peet's opened a location in Fairfax. Great addition to the area. Now I get can my fix in Vienna for work and Fairfax for play. Location is easy to find and parking is plentiful. First visit - impressed with the size of the location. So spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful without being overwhelming. Big plus. Merchandise laid out nicely and labeled clearly. Came here to do some work before meeting up with friends for dinner. I thought this particular location was convenient and had a lot of space for plenty of people. I had no trouble finding a table with an outlet next to it, which is a huge plus for coffee shops. I got a cold brew fog, which I would not recommend as it was extremely underwhelming in taste. One thing about this location that annoyed me was the huge line of 15 minute parking spots in front of it. I am a tru Peet's fanatic! A rookie - so i'm new but have had awesome experiences. I don't usually drink coffee, but my go to drink is the non fat chai latte with pumpkin. I have also tried all of their breakfast sandwiches. I think what i love about peet's is that their pastries and sandwiches are so good. the calories are reasonable (yes - guilty, i count my macros and calories) and the drink and sandwich combo isn't so bad. Your typical coffeehouse with a great variety of options from the menu. The atmosphere is very laid back. I'd come here to get some of my work done if I could. Staff is very welcoming as soon as you walk in. I got the sweetened green tea latte. I'm actually lactose intolerant, but they accommodated with almond milk. Extremely disappointing experience with this location. Received an email from Peets advertising free delivery for mothers day weekend so I placed an order on the app. They texted they were "looking" for us , then it said "delivered" but was not. I called this location and the "manager" disclaimed any respondibility for the non delivery saying I had to call doordash. I placed this order via PEETS app but he was adamant that they were not responsible for my non delivery and refused to refund the $. I called corporate customer service, who gladly refunded to the app and reported this horrible service to the district mgr. Doordash was never going to tefund my $ bc I used the PEETS app. read more
